My favorite taco was the vegetarian panela cheese taco (packed with flavor!), and least favorite was the chicken special taco...bummer since the chicken tacos were more expensive and only sold in sets of two. We loved the carnitas burrito and the flavor of the meat was excellent. Great easy-going and an expensive place to grab street tacos. Went here for lunch with my parents while visiting Durango and we stop by Lola's place and while we were there, I was able to get a Beer from what seems like the main building and then I was able to go down and grab some tacos from Cuevas - it was fast, super reasonably priced - The lady at the front was nice and my food was great. It was a wonderful atmosphere gorgeous day. What was interesting is there wasn't a lot of people there and I don't think I got a number or anything and she was just like I'll bring it to you and the English was a little bit broken and I thought I miss heard but she insisted that she would bring it out and coming from major cities typically you have a number or a buzzer or something And I didn't get anything so I had no idea what they said wasn't going to come or not and lo and behold about five minutes later she pops up and it's perfect.... During the winter months they are not in their food truck which made it a little challenging to find. They are located in a old house with a coffee shop in the front. However with that being said I am so happy we were persistent on looking for it! Breakfast burrito was EXCELLENT!! The tortilla was toasted to perfection and the burrito "insides" (eggs, potatoes, bacon, chili) all fresh. This will for sure be one of our go to places when in Durango read more

I've eaten here twice now - breakfast and lunch and the food has been absolutely amazing. The chorizo breakfast burrito was with what I believe was Oaxaca cheese inside and grilled to the outside of the tortilla. The tortilla was the right kind of chewy and flexible to keep it all together and tasted really good. The tacos I had for lunch were equally delicious on fresh corn tortillas. This place is a food truck in the parking lot at Ernies. We just happened upon it because kids all wanted something different so food trucks were a good solution. We ordered chicken tacos and they were very, very flavorful. Super fresh with cabbage, chicken, candy onions and AHMAZZZING chipotle sauce. They normally come on flour tortillas but we ordered some on corn too because I am gluten free. $6 for two was a very reasonable price. I was super happy we stopped here. My husband ordered a chicken burrito and he said it was fantastic too. We will keep coming back. read more

Food truck with bomb burritos! The Dr. Tim's burrito is the best. Out of all the places with tortilla chips & guacamole...this place outshines all the others in town. I used to love their salsa, but they must have changed the recipe as it's full of black pepper now which sadly overpowers the rest of the flavors. Other than that, you can't go wrong here. read more

Very good! Muy Rico! It's a taco truck. $2.50/taco. Good value! Sodas available by the can/bottle. Get a beer (cheap!) inside the VFW (open to the public) right beside the truck. They have a patio with shade and they deliver your food when it's ready. Good chips and homemade tasting salsa with a little kick. Delicious! Off the grid a little, but right next to a park and the river. Worth stopping! And closer than Mexico for good tacos. read more

This is by far our favorite place for a al pastor burrito. They did move locations though. No longer at 11th st. The food truck is by rotary park downtown now. It offers some great seating by the river. read more
