We had an awesome time sampling all the wines on the menu. Reasonably priced and haven't tried one that we didn't like. We have been to numerous wine tastings in California and Arizona and we were surprised to find this gem in Durango. My husband, daughter and I were visiting from LA and were delighted to find this winery that allowed dogs! My husband and I both got flights. The fruity wines were sooo good and such unusual flavors! The raspberry pinot was our favorite but it was hard to choose, every one we said how delicious it was! Great wine. I've been to quite a few wineries and some just flop. This one is great! A really great variety of wines and I didn't try one I didn't really enjoy! Honestly, I would have over to try them all!it was in the afternoon on a Tuesday so I was the only one there, so I got to chat with the owner quite a bit. What a nice guy! I'm super happy to support this small business! I tasted the Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Malbec (took this one home!) blueberry Pinot noir, Barbera & Tamprenello. All really good! read more

Hidden gem on the south end of Main Street Four Leaves Winery has an amazing selection and a wide variety of wines to choose from. They should be in all the local wine menus-support local! Dean, the shopkeeper is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable about his selections. The patrons are all very friendly and make you also feel welcome. Local or otherwise. I can't say enough about the Blackberry Merlot or the Raspberry Pino Noir. They definitely spoke to my Spirit Animal of Wine ! It was great being able to stop by here the past couple of days. This was our first time visiting the store and I have to say it was a very cute store with an amazing wine selection! I'm not sure if the man that assisted us was the owner or an employee but he was extremely sweet to us. They were already closed but we still wanted to continue trying more wines and that gentleman was kind enough to let us stay and indulge a little on the fantastic selections! Pleasantly surprised! Really nice wines and nice food to accompany it. We were a party of four, and they listened to what we were interested in, and made suggestions. Wandering around old town Durango, we discovered this little winery just across from the Train station. The service was great and we found them to be quite laid back and a lot of fun. Between the two of us, we tried seven different wines and liked two of them enough to buy a glass to sip and a couple bottles to take home. We loved the idea of being able to have our own "wines" bottled and getting our own labels applied....this would be a great gift idea for a special occasion. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. Whether trying something new, or just hanging out after the train ride, this little place is a good choice. If we lived in Durango, this would be a regular place for us to hang out! read more

SUPERB SERVICE & fabulous wines. I literally tasted all of them (only $5 to sample 3!) and I fell in love with the Malbec and the black cherry Pinot! I loved being able to sit and enjoy myself without hearing a sales pitch. The owners were super friendly, and I love chatting with them. I also loved their little doggo. My wife and I had the pleasure to stop by Four Leaves Winery while passing through Durango, Colorado recently. We didn't know what to expect, but were soon surprised by the fabulous tastings. We totally enjoyed ourselves and especially like their "reds". Our favorite was the Black Cherry Pinot Noir which had great balance but not too sweet. We will be ordering some of these for the holiday season to serve to family and friends. Four Leaves Winery is absolutely charming. Pretty big tasting room and the not a bad deal for tasting. I had a Groupon, tasting for 2 with a cheese platter and it was a great reason to bring us in. If you know me I am a California wine lover so I was a little hesitant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dean was absolutely fabulous and his little side kick Max the defender of the sofa. They had a variety of wines to taste which was unexpected...great red selection. The Tempranillo was my favorite. The vibe here is very low key we came on a Tuesday for happy hour and was very comfortable, no rush, Dean was very informative, gave us not only info on the wines he was serving, but excellent restaurant recommendations. read more

Loved this winery! Nice quaint spot with lots of variety! And by that I mean they have game night and other types of activity nights, nice cozy couches to sit on and read or sit by the fake fire, the bar area and a great dog that hangs out! The owner was great! Such a nice down to earth guy who enjoys being around his customers. I go wine tasting all over the world and I'd have to say this spot was a favorite for the location. Obviously it's quite different from an experience in Paris or Napa but it's right along the lines of Los Olivos or Temecula minus the vineyard. Low key, welcoming and great wine. Not to mention super cheap! Four tastings and a glass of wine for $12! Can't beat that! And add on some chocolates so $5 or some cheese plates. Only complaint is that I wasn't able to have a glass of the Tempranillo (which was my favorite) because he didn't have enough left. Good excuse for me to come back I guess!! Besides both the whites and reds all being good I really enjoyed his Fruit wine. I've had so many fruit wines where they literally tasted like candy or juice but his weren't too sweet. Liked the fruit flavor but still felt like I was drinking a wine instead of juice. If you're in the area make sure to come try this place. So worth it! read more

We almost didn't go because the website seemed to focus on the "personal winery" element. As tourists, we were not going to be in town long enough to make wine. But it was rainy and there wasn't much else to do--and there was a parking spot right in the front. We really enjoyed our tasting! The fruit wines were surprisingly good. They'd be great for drinking in the summer on the patio. Get the four samples and a glass--best deal! We didn't know about the appetizer menu, but might have enjoyed the cheese with our wine. We had such a fun time here trying a ton of wine and chatting with our server. She was wonderful and answered all of our questions. The fruit wines were very sweet, couldn't have a full glass but I love the idea! Their Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Malbec were our favorites. I was a little disappointed in the service though....didn't really take any interest in us....even though we were the only ones in there. Could have been made a really fun experience but we left feeling a little lackluster.
