Beware!!! I went in to get my eyebrows waxed. I've had my eyebrows waxed there many times before. The lady that waxed my eyebrows was told by me to not pull so hard because I have sensitive skin. Well, she continued to pull the strip hard anyways despite me telling her not to, and left a big scar under my eye. When I called for my refund they told me if I'm not satisfied with the service to not come back. They were not apologetic at all. And offered no apologies. A skilled nail technician with years of experience charges $100 for 3-4 hours of work, so there's no way this service justifies that price for one hour. I had a guy do my nails--no idea what his name was--and he was rude and unprofessional. He asked if I bite my nails just because they were short, and when I asked for adjustments, he acted annoyed. I requested a deeper French dip, and he snapped, saying I should've told him earlier. Well, I'm telling you now--just do what I asked! He also wanted to charge me an extra $8 for adding a flower on my thumb, claiming it was "harder." Really? It took you 10 seconds! The nails came out flat and wide. This place needs to lower their prices and improve their service because the quality does not match the cost at all. Don't waste your time or money here--they rush through everything, and customer service is nonexistent. I want my refund ASAP! read more

Used to be a client but I won't be coming back. My favorite tech Nu is on maternity so I decided to do my nails w the man in the first chair. He is rude and wants you to do what he wants. I asked for short nails and the whole time he complained that I was getting short nails. When he was finished, they were all different lengths and shapes. No two nails looked the same. I love this nail place!! Super close to my house and the nail techs are all so nice, they always try to make conversation with me. My nails last a long time when I come to them. The ambiance is always so welcoming since they're always playing modern music in the background and the painting of the walls and the artwork make the salon look really cozy. I've also done my eyebrows here and they do a very good job and I'm always really skeptical about who I let touch my brows. I would definitely recommend to anybody! read more

Horrible experience with one of the girls, she was rude and unable to understand what I wanted. I showed her pictures and asked if she can properly clean my cuticles before painting. She insisted that she she will do it later, I wanted my nails clean before painting. It was an issue. If I am paying, I am able to choose how I want my nails, there is no need for rudeness or getting frustrated. If you don't want to do it, it's okay. Say so. However, Julianna and Vivian are awesome! I had the worst experience ever !! It was my Birthday and I visited SK NAILS due to convenience of location and for times sake. I requested a Luxury Pedicure which usually is a good thing right ? You always want to upgrade your customers and also requested to get a full set. What I thought was going to be the easiest thing turned into a 2-day (I went back first thing next morning) disappointment. My 30th birthday dinner was an all black attire event so my gel polish pick was plain old black. The wax they used for the luxury pedicure was extremely hot and uncomfortable. To make a long story short I was the last customer there and my tech was in a huge rush I would say by his finished product. Please view pictures of what I paid $90 for with a $7 tip PRIOR to even having my hands painted, otherwise I would have not agreed to pay $97 dollars for this..... please look at the details and black nail polish on my skin and fingers. Honestly if I can put a negative star I would. The manager was the one who did my nails at first I was happy with them until I saw I had a Lump on my nail. I kindly asked him if he can fix it and he said yes give me five min which was fine. Not only did he have me waiting for like 20 min he told someone to try to fix it and honestly she really did try but she couldn't take it out. Then while he was fixing his mistake he rudely said " This is the first and last time I do your nails" honestly that coming from the manager says a lot from the owner. My mother & I received the worst sort of treatment at this salon. I took my mom to get her nails done on her birthday & the owner refused service because my mom came in with a wheelchair & uses oxygen. She stated she didn't want any problems. She was rude & insensitive. We were treated in an appalling manner and I hope that other people who are sick or even disabled will not have to suffer this type of discrimination. After being spoken to in a very loud & embarrassing manner we left without receiving any services. I will NEVER go back this salon. So upsetting! The nail polishes for regular mani pedi is disturbing! The nail polishes are all crusty and thick. They do not have a nice variety at all. I got service with the girl that sits 2 chairs down from the cashier, I didn't get her name because we barely spoke. Let's start with the fact that she filed my nails and left the residue under them and proceeded to paint them. I told her something about it and all she did was file them again. I tried showing her what I was talking about and she got frustrated. I did not like how she painted my nails at all but at this point I was over it. I've been growing out my eyebrows so I can get them done before I go on vacation which is tomorrow so I really needed to have them done today, she was the only one available for waxing and I knew they were gonna be a mess but I really needed them done.
