Well I have to be honest this is my go to spot when I can't make it to my regular nail lady. I had an event Saturday night so I wanted to glam up a little. ( my busy schedule had me cancel my nail appointment) So I knew right away Pretty Nails will save the day. They have about 20 tables available for nail techs. Honestly I have always been seen without that much of a wait. ( I do suggest go early morning) They have like 3 different polish brands from what I could see. They have almost every color in the book. (Regular and Gel) The service is done fast and it's not sloppy! The pedi chair has a massage function. They put a warm blanket on your feet with the pedi! They do offer face waxing. I tried it out for the 1st time with them since I was short in time. She left them nice. But I was sensitive to their wax product. I had a horrible red rash. ( thank godness for makeup) It's a day later and I'm still red. So if you have sensitive skin... maybe think about it. ( especially if u have a special occasion that same day) If you like a specific nail tech you can make advanced appointments as well. read more

I had asked for a clear coat... I booked in appointment with them because I couldn't go to my original nail place. I usually go with them when I can't go to my original nail place. They are usually good, but this is the first time that they have disappointed me tremendously. They had the audacity to tell me that this is my natural nail when I've done clearcoat multiple times in my other nail salon and I've also done clearcoat in THIS salon as well and it has come back super nice. This is ridiculous. And instead of them redoing it or telling someone else to do it everybody kept saying the same thing oh it's just your nail bed. That's just how your nail is. I'm never coming here ever again. read more

I have been coming here for years. I went from gel manicures to dip and I have no regrets. The owner is friendly as well as his daughter in the front. I have a few go to technicians that I prefer as they always do a great job and are very friendly. Prices are reasonable and I've never had an issue. I'll keep coming here as long as the service is good. Don't forget to tip your technicians! read more

This is the only place i will come and get my Gel Pedicures at. Amazing work at a reasonable price! I love the massage chairs and the warm towels they wrap around your calves. All the techs are so friendly! I'm always a walk-in and i am placed with whom ever is available, so quick and so easy. Every single tech that has done my toes has done an incredible job. I definitely recommend coming here! read more

This is my go to nail salon. They did a remodel around Covid time and were closed for a few months which was a pain but it turned out beautiful. They are all very nice and the owner is so accommodating and welcoming. I usually get my nails done with whomever is open so I don't wait long or even at all most of the time. However, they are quick (about and hour or so for pedi and gel nails) but they don't cut the cuticle so well. The women do a much better job than most of the men in the facility. It's just been my experience. I still go every 2-3 weeks. Prices are pretty standard compared to other salons. Overall I do recommend them. read more

I haven't been here since before the pandemic. I fractured my ankle and had surgery so I was not able to go once they had renovated the shop. It is beautiful, clean and has all of the safety measures. As a nurse, I appreciate the staff ensuring that hands are washed and temperatures are taken. I had Amy and she was FABULOUS!! I've been going to Pretty Nails twice a month,every month, for over 4 years!!! There is a reason for this, the salon is impeccable,their tools are sanitized in an autoclave (which is strangely, is not enforced by the health department), the staff is kind and friendly, and the owners Cynthia and Canh, truly make you feel like you are part of the family. I have NO complaints whats-so-ever and highly recommend anyone to visit them, especially after their latest re-modeling. The re-modeling took an unexpected 4 months, but boy, was it worth it! Upon coming back, I was glad to see that all of their loyal customers had returned ,even though it had been such a long time, and a lot of us cheated on them lol. My go-to girls are Amy and "Q" for mani/pedi with gel, and for acrylics I usually sit with Canh (all depending on your style). Going anywhere else but here would be a mistake. I used to come here more often but had an incident once when they cut my toe and sent me home just like that pretending nothing happened. My toe got infected and I said I wouldn't come back. Well, I gave it another chance this past weekend just because it's close to home. I'm very disappointed, the guy that took care of me didn't know how to shape nails and my nails don't even match each other now. On top of everything I told him I wanted white for my pedicure but never got to pick a mani color and he assumed I wanted white. I was supposed to get gel mani which I changed to regular mani just so I could take it off as soon as I left the salon. The manager is nice and attentive, he should train his employees better to make sure these things don't keep happening. read more

Ladies get your nails done here ! Amy is THE BEST I got my nails done and I'm in love and honestly it's one of the best feelings . She's REALLY good ,nice and fast ! Not only is she fast but my nails came out PERFECT! just how I wanted them . She's very talented . This is now my second time here... my first time I got a full set and a pedi. My nails were HORRIFIC, I don't remember the name of the lady who did them but they were thick, lumpy and uneven. I wasn't going to say anything because I was so pissed but after sitting in my car for 10 min staring at them, I just couldn't. I went back inside and thankful got the owner to fix them, he was so nice!!! He didn't make me feel bad at all for not being happy with them. He took his time and fixed them just how I like them. I definitely recommend having him do your nails, he's great! This time I came in he was busy so his mom Kim did my nails and she also is great, definitely recommend her as well. Now as far as the pedicures go , not my fave. They rush .. it's like they are done before you can blink an eye. I thought maybe that was just my first experience so this second time I upgraded my pedicure to whole shebang. Jamie is the one who did my pedicure and I don't think I have ever had the worst customer service in my entire life. She should be fired! I was having trouble getting my massaging chair turned on and asked her to help me and she replied it "idk you figure it out" like wow! So I sat there the whole time getting a pedicure and didn't have my massage chair on because she felt as if she was to busy to help me. The pedicure itself says paraffin wax & massage with oil. Well the "massage with oil" was more like she slapped some oil on my legs then Put the hot towels, no massage involved what's so ever. She put my paraffin wax on and took it off before it was even hardened. Average time You should leave paraffin wax in is 10-15 min which during that time is when you should Get the massage. She left my wax on for about 1 min, if that. I even said to her "I don't think it's done" she insisted "no,no it's fine" she was just so Rude from the start. Definitely not worth the upgraded price. She rushed as if there was a lot of people and there was no one waiting & multiple techs available to take other guest. I would not ever recommend her or even getting a pedicure here. read more

So I decided to try a new place that was not to far from home and omg do I regret it this place has the worst nail techs in Hialeah my nails are so cricket the guy didn't know how to file or sit the nail correctly or even apply The acrylic I had to tell him the water for my pedicure was so cold I had to tell him three times to put hot water in to sock my feet if I could go be the a lower score then a 0 l would read more

Listen, I have been coming to Pretty Nails since I was 14 years old, I am 27 now. Every time i get my nails done somewhere else for whatever reason (out of town, new hot spot, etc.) i INSTANTLY regret it. This is the best nail place you will find in miami. Cahn & Cynthia & Richard are the best! I have put so many people on to pretty nails bc they deserve all the credit for the work they do. I get sooo many compliments on my nails each and every single time i get them done. They last, nail polish doesn't lift, and they shape them the best. Its always a great environment and they do care about the service not just money like most places. The prices are pretty reasonable for the service they provide and the outcome you receive. I will never leave pretty nails, they are doing so great they are expanding to next door! 1000/10 recommend! read more

The wait is usually so long, but the place is beautiful and always smells like a clean house. Sometimes the pedicures get less attention than manicures. Some more attention to detail on pedicures would be nice (thorough cuticle cutting, filing on the sides). My toes do always end up looking cute and the hot towels are amazing. read more

I decided to come here as my first time to do my bridal nails for my wedding. I love my nails. I cannot stop looking at how pretty they are. I felt they took extra care of me after I told them they were for my wedding. Service is amazing. They were quick. I went on a Saturday at 9am. I would recommend to make an appointment because I saw how quickly they fill up but they tried accomedating everyone that walked in. Worst nail place I have been to. They are not honest with prices as they are not listed. One person charges 30 for a refill another person charges $40. My nail chipped off by the end of the day. Would not recommend this place. There are other places you can spend the same amount and get a better job done. read more

Love this salon. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. My go-to tech, Natasha, is incredible. I've gone to other nail salons where the tech cuts me and makes me bleed at least once during the appointment. Natasha has never cut me and she always does my nails perfectly. The environment is clean and they are pretty much always busy -- must be doing something right! I highly recommend. read more

Absolutely terrible! The customer service is awful! Super rude! I asked the nail tech to clean down the station as the last person just got up. She gave me a dirty look and sprayed a bottle of alcohol put sprayed it up so it went all over me! Even the owner- rude and cocky. The first girl who began to do my nails filed the tip crocked. So the 2nd person who did them took that tip off noticing it was crocked and put a new tip but yet didn't file my nails with the drill before putting the acrylic! I told him he didn't and he said it's ok. I have been getting my nails done for 20 plus years.... This guys telling me he doesn't need to file them first. Sure enough two days later two nails cracked in half at the nail line! Super painful! Clearly they hire people who are not licensed and don't know what they are doing! Go elsewhere!! read more

Frankly I think that they suck don't get me wrong they were nice but do VERY mediocre work, they don't know how to property remove the cuticles on hands or feet, nor do they file them correctly, nor do they have much variety when it comes to color for gel manicures, first and last time I will be going back if you want great work done I recommend blush nails, yeah it's a bit more pricey and a bit of a drive but it's so worth it! read more

"Hi honey, what you need today? Oh, uhm, can I get my nails done?" Have any of you ever seen the "Nail Salon" skit by Anjelah Johnson? If you haven't, you definitely should. Those are some guaranteed lol's for all my ladies and my dudes out there who aren't ashamed of their game. Anyways, this salon is nothing like the one Anjelah talks about. I've been here a handful of times and never leave disappointed. The staff never haggles you: "Honey do you like crytal gel for your nail it's the best thing you can have for your nail. Make look nice, it sparkle like diamond in the sky. Do you like crytal gel?" They also have about 100 different gel color options. I'm not shitting you here ladies, you'll spend most of your refill struggling for the perfect shade of blue because they've got 30. This here, this ish right here, it's a game changer. They're quick, efficient and pretty upfront about their prices (you know what I mean, those secret charges that you were allegedly made aware of in their native tongue and you're sitting there like "Oh...uh..ok?") They are kind of pricey, but it's all good. My nails always look great and they're very detail oriented. I don't mind spending money on good work. It kind of bothers me that they don't offer "polish change" and they up charge to shape your nails, but who am I to tell how to run your business? But, they offer mask and oil treatments which is cool. All in all, I really enjoy coming here and I'll keep coming till I find my Tammy. read more

Really wonderful! I don't live in the area anymore but i do work there on Monday's and Tuesday's. In my 20 something prior years of living in Miami Lakes, I found that one thing the town lacked was a good nail salon. Every single one I had tried was a grand disappointment, so I am ecstatic to report that there is indeed a good place to get your nails done in Miami Lakes after all! Pretty Nails is located next to Polo Norte and the dentist's office in the Publix shopping center. It is small, clean, an modern. They've got nice massage chairs for your mani-pedi, and areas to dry your nails further once youre done. I didn't get a rude vibe from this place at all. The nail techs actually seemed happy to be there which is refreshing! My nails came out great and were done in great time-- not too fast, not too slow. Both of my techs were particularly gentle and very sweet. All in all, an excellent experience. I will be back for sure! read more

Came by this salon next to my house after many disappointing experiences at 2 other salons. Since my regular nail tech is out on maternity leave, I had to begin my search to see where else I can go to have my nails done. My mil highly recommended this salon so I quickly made my appointment with Q. From the moment you walk in you feel at ease with all the safety covid measures they're taking. From making you wash your hands the moment you walk in to wearing gloves and sanitizing every station as soon as they're finished. I couldn't wait to make my next appointment. They're so welcoming when you walk in and they fit the best person for you depending on what you want. I wouldn't recommend going with just anyone, you really have to choose someone you trust. This place is quite busy with a lot of employees and nail stations. The gal who was going to do my nails brought over a color wheel of choices. And I found a color similar to the one I'd been using. In no time at all, the polish change occurred and I was sitting drying my nails in front of a small fan. She did a pretty good job. Although, anything would have been an improvement. Their prices are a few dollars more than what I am used to, but since it was a pre-holiday weekend, I didn't quibble. The gal doing my nails was efficient and professional, but didn't try to engage me in conversation -- I'm not sure of her English abilities even. In any case, I was glad I took a chance and stopped here. Exactly what I needed for a boost.

I went in today only having done gel and dip previously. I explained this before any service and…read moreasked for a recommendation on what service I should get if I want to add extensions. We landed on apres. The nail tech was rushing through the whole service and applied almost every tip on my left hand crooked. I asked him to fix it and I was able to fix most of them by filing but had to redo the whole application for my index finger. Upon further inspection I noticed the nail length on my left and right hands were way different so again I had to ask the tech to fix it. This whole time I'm waiting to see if my cuticles will be addressed but I didn't say anything because I've never had the service before and didn't know at what point it would be done in the process. The service ends and my cuticles weren't touched and I was so confused but at this point I had been there so long and felt like I was babysitting the tech the whole time (he seemed so annoyed with me but I don't want to nag and I'm sure he doesn't want to be nagged so some more attention to detail would've been appreciated) so I just wanted to leave. I go to the front and I asked if cuticle work wasn't included on services anymore. He informed me that it's an extra add-on I should've asked for because it's not typically included for any service besides regular manicure and gel manicure. So then I said they should let people know this if they're new to the service and then the front desk guy starts arguing with me about how I should have asked. How would I know to ask if that's typically the standard for most services? He continues to go back and forth with me (which is ridiculous and insane) and I eventually had to just cut him off and say can I just pay and leave I'm not going to argue with you anymore. So I paid and left really annoyed. As soon as I left I looked up if cuticle work is typically done with apres and IT IS. I'll attach the screenshot. If they're going to charge more for cuticle work whatever but you have to let people know if that's something specific to your salon. Overall super disappointing experience especially because this has been my all-time favorite nail salon for like 8 or 9 years. Even when I lived out of state, I made it a point to always come get my nails done here when I visited. I've recommended this place to countless people over the years and I'm honestly sad at the service and attitude I received today.

The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.
