We were meeting family for a late lunch and we'd arrived in Miramar waaaay early. I needed to get a polish change and was planning to try to get an appointment at one of my usual places tomorrow. However, we passed this nail salon, and I decided to take a chance on a walk in. Stopped in and yes, they could accommodate me right away. This place is quite busy with a lot of employees and nail stations. The gal who was going to do my nails brought over a color wheel of choices. And I found a color similar to the one I'd been using. In no time at all, the polish change occurred and I was sitting drying my nails in front of a small fan. She did a pretty good job. Although, anything would have been an improvement. Their prices are a few dollars more than what I am used to, but since it was a pre-holiday weekend, I didn't quibble. The gal doing my nails was efficient and professional, but didn't try to engage me in conversation -- I'm not sure of her English abilities even. I really want to like this place, but I just can't get past the fact that it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since before Covid. I was getting my nails done and looking around and the table was dirty, the cushion that you rest your arms on was dirty, the plexiglass between me and the technician was disgusting. There were splashes of a mystery brown substance dried on the wall. The floor was dirty. The people who work there are very nice and they do a good job but I just can't get past how filthy it is. read more

I am genuinely disappointed with the lack of professionalism I encountered during my recent visit on New Years Eve. While I appreciate the effort put into my pedicure, I couldn't help but notice that the nail polish application was streaky. When I mentioned this, rather than addressing my concern with grace and a willingness to correct the issue, the nail technician Hang Hannah, became visibly upset. What was even more shocking was their decision to walk away entirely, avoiding doing my nails altogether simply because I voiced a concern about the quality of service. This behavior felt dismissive and unprofessional, but also a sour impression of the salon's customer care. I do want to thank the Salon manager for rectifying the situation by continuing my nail service and finding me a person to do my manicure. Nikki was able to finish my manicure, already way past my appointment but she was definitely having conversations with Hannah to see if I was being "difficult." ( I wasn't, no voices were raised and I am not a rude individual.) As paying clients, we expect a level of courtesy and accountability when bringing up concerns, no matter how small. Unfortunately, this experience has left me hesitant to return specially considering I've been a returning customer for the last 5 years. I typically book with Jason, who is amazing at his craft but he didn't have appointments until later on in the day so I decided to go with Hannah. One of the older ladies at this salon has got to be the laziest and worst nail tech. The service she performed was unsanitary and a shame. The pedicure I received was painful and sloppy. I asked her to clean it up multiple times. She removed the plastic wrap in the tub and threw the warm towel in it... after she was done doing my toes, she picked up the towel from the open tub and put it on my toes :( how unsanitary. I had to ask her to spray some alcohol on my feet in hopes to not get an infection. She is very old and needs to retire at this point or find a different job. I asked if there was a manager around that I could speak to and it happens to be that he left and wasn't there. Not an enjoyable experience at all. Go somewhere else. At-home manicures are my jam but when it comes to nail art, I really turn to professionals. I made an appointment for this nail salon with ease for 9:30am on a Friday, as soon as they open. To my surprise, a good amount of people were already inside getting mani and pedis when I walked in at 9:28am. They have all the COVID precautions still in place with masks, a barrier at the front desk, and hand washing right after checking in. To check in, you use the tablet, enter your phone number and wait for your nail tech. Like most nail salons, they have many different options for pedicures and give you a menu with their spa choices. I usually pick from what they show me but opted for their basic pedicure which was not shown. For nails, I did a dip design where she used both dip powder and gel. They have the gel UV light built into their stations which I thought was pretty cool. Lee did an amazing job on my nails and replicated a photo I had shown her. Trips to the nail salon are pretty pricey so I'll save this spot for special occasions or when I see a cool design I would want! read more

He talked me into getting chrome but didn't tell me about the upcharge. It came out looking great but nothing I would pay $15 ontop of my normal manicure for. I guess that guy left bc I came back after not coming for a while and got a new girl. Pedicare was amazing and felt great! Do a great job of exfoliating and massaging. The girl I got for my manicure spoke almost no English so the person next to her had to keep translating. Nails came out good though so I'm not complaining. I took a photo of the polish bc I liked the color and wanted to get it again next time. The next time I went I showed the picture with the number of the polish to the woman doing my nails. Hannah didn't clean my nails before getting dip and she cut my finger open. I asked for French ombré and had to tell her to redo multiple nails because of bubbles or a clear line between the white and pink where it should've blended colors. When I asked her to be careful because the cut she made was burning she just looked at me without response or apology - just told me to wash hands without soap. I walked in and was immediately serviced, which is unheard of at most nail salons on a Saturday afternoon. Must have been my lucky day. I got a dip manicure and a pedicure and both came out great. I asked for color change on toes- regular polish and that alone was $18 which I thought was ridiculous. I understand this is post COVID but I could buy a $5 bottle of white polish and do them myself. My acrylics with a design came out horrible- again. Extremely thick, acrylic came out of the nail fold and cuticle. Hannah was my nail tech and it took her almost 30mins to do 2 simple swiggly lines.
