Very amazing time here. Food was great and delicious. Service was quick as well. Fun time with the family thank you.

There's really nothing to complain about this homey spot. As soon you walk in they warmly welcome you and they have variety of Thai foods not to mention you can choose the kind of noodles you would like on your noodle dish. Our meals were tasty and delicious. Seems like a family owned business, for sure I'll be coming back to support them. Thank you for your meals! read more

A couple friends and I came here for dinner on a weekday night, and there were only a few other parties inside. The parking lot is small and one-way as other reviews mentioned; luckily we all found spots since it wasn't too busy, but I can see it becoming a struggle on weekends. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with shrimp, and the combo plate came with rice, salad, and fried wontons. The salad was a bit sad tbh, just a handful of romaine with an opaque white dressing that had a kind of strange flavor and consistency. The main plate came out relatively fast after the salad. My noodles were slightly overcooked imo, they were on the squishier side and were clumping together. The spiciness of the noodles was a bit intense and one-dimensional, I felt that the chili sauce was very spice forward with a lot of chili seeds but didn't really add a whole lot of flavor. It wasn't the worst drunken noodles I've had, but not super great. The rice was well-cooked with a generous portion. My friends both got the pad see ew, one with shrimp and one with tofu. Both dishes were alright, but not spectacular. The noodles were also a bit soggy and the sauce tasted just okay. The broccoli in all of the dishes was a bit yellow as well. I asked a server for the bathroom after we finished eating, and they gave me a key to go through the kitchen's back hallway and around the restaurant back outside. I was given the men's bathroom key since the women's was occupied, and once I opened the door I was hit with a very smelly wave and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. :( I decided to hold it lol. I had high hopes for this place since it has a lot of great reviews, but while the food was okay, it was not up to par with my expectations for a Thai place. read more

Delicious food and wonderful service. Beautiful and clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

I ordered the barbecue combo through Uber eat and the order was accurate. It was ready for pickup in the estimated time, thats super. Important for me because my lunch break is only 30 minutes. It has a thin slice of barbecue beef, barbecue chicken breast and wing, and barbecue spare ribs with a side of shrimp fried rice. There is only one shrimp on top of the bed of fried rice the rice taste okay. All the meat besides the chicken wing are a little bit chewy. To me is a good sign that indicates they did not use too many meats tenderizer. The meats is still chewable for my middle age teeth. The barbecue sauce was only on top of the beef and the breast was a bit dry. Overall it is very good value, food are minimally processed, and they taste okay the wing is great. For the value of the food and the order accuracy I gave it five star. Portion with huge. read more

My BFF and I had another oppty to eat here. Ever since our unforgettable 1st visit, we have been thinking about ways to get back here! Today we both did the Pad Thai SHRIMP lunch combo. The BEST THAI FOOD EVER! Their soup is like a clear chicken broth with veggie so great that we had to have a 2nd round! The owner is so good to us!!! Today we splurged and ordered an appetizer: shrimp wrapped in wonton skins deep fried. SO GREAT!!! Large Thai Tea split between us was so good. It is flavorful and refreshing! Great high quality ingredients on all fronts! read more

Last minute decision to go out and eat. It was close to 9pm. We ordered ahead and arrived just in time. Pad see uw (I might have misspelled it) 10/10. Delicious. Tasty. Chefs kiss. Cashew chicken. 10/10 plenty of chicken. Lots of veggies. Thai tea. 10/10. The mix was just right. Maybe less ice next time. There was a table of 8-10 people and they were all saying "so good. Delicious " as they were leaving. I can definitely agree read more

Went here last night with my husband and it was sooo good! I wanted to go somewhere nearby for Thai food. We ordered the crab rangoons and fresh spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Each appetizer was so fresh and so tasty. And for our main entrees we got the spicy basil beef which my husband loved. It was super spicy !!!! I ordered a yellow curry with chicken and white rice. It was delicious and I love a good curry! They will see us again soon! read more

DISGUSTING! GO TO TREASURE POT THAI RESTAURANT. ITS AUTHENTIC WITH ACTUAL THAI LADIES COOKING THE FOOD! I decided to try this place since every-time I do laundry next door the place is packed. My experience wasn't good. I ordered on here on Yelp for a pickup. I ordered the dinner meal pad Thai and some crab Rangoon's it came out to a little over 30$ with tax. I ordered this on a Sunday. When I went in to pickup my food the lady was like sorry we have to charge you more money because we don't have the dinner option during the weekend. Mind you I had already waited for my food and it was ready for pick up. I already paid 30 plus dollars. I told her I wanted a refund and she let me take the food without charging more. First thing it's completely unacceptable to have a dinner option and state what days they allow you to do it. It's just unprofessional for a business and then to try and charge more. I'm glad I didn't because the food was gross. Not even just saying it because of the issue I had. The crab Rangoon's were cold and not very favorable. The pad Thai was orange like bright orange and I ordered shrimp and there were tons of tofu in it. 0/10 I would never return again. read more

This place is always good. I ordered food for pickup, it was delicious and we got everything we ordered on top.

My husband and I recently ordered takeout for the third time, from sizzling Thai and we were 100% satisfied. I ordered the wonton soup and he had the seafood curry. Everything tasted so fresh and clean. I know sometimes Thai can be a little greasy but everything tastes great every time we have been here. Thank you for being consistent and welcoming! read more

I really, really wanted to like this place(Yup, read alot of that on these reviews). Been here couple times. When a place doesnt have a "thing" or known for a certain dish, I tend to go with the most generic stuff you can think of. This case its a Thai resto. So ordered Pad Thai. Shrimp Tom Yum, stick rice mango and Thai Tea to go. Place is usually pretty busy, parking is a struggle as it shares parking with other business. Both times ive been here, staff is pretty quick to get my order and, charge me so I can be on my way. Now the food. So disappointing. Food was not horrible, was not gross or weird tasting. Was not bad. Problem was not bad, not good. Pad Thai was so bladn. How can you frunk up Pad Thai? You cant right? Tom Yum soup omg was soooo bland. Legit gave it a chance, just nothing there. Broth was very watery, no flavor with a few pieces of mushroom floating around. Stick Rice was yummy and Thai Tea was ok. Second time I got the yellow curry and some chicken Satay sticks. Curry again super let down. So bland and watery. No consistency, no spices. Definetely cateed to the "American" pallet. Haiyaaaa. Will give it another chance, read positive reviews on the Crab Omelette and they have more traditional Thao dishes worth giving it another shot. 3rd time is the charm? read more

Great place for Thai food and the service is always good. My go-to dishes are Tom Kha (coconut soup), house fried rice, and drunken noodles. The dishes have great flavor and portions are pretty good for two people. Highly recommend! Parking is in a small plaza with a one way entrance/exit. read more

Always delicious! Fast accurate and ambiance is delightful such a hidden gem in Downey

Sizzling Thai Kitchen is located in the city of Downey. The place is located in a small shopping center with very limited parking due to the fact that there's a liquor store, dry cleaners, at least four other establishments that all share the same parking lot, one way in and one way out. There's no street parking. Small establishment, looks clean inside, and you will be greeted with warm and friendly staff. They take all major credit cards and they deliver as well, you can call for take out. This was my first time eating there, but not my first experience eating Thai food. Here's my 3 main dishes and my review of each. * Pad Thai with vegetables. The sauce wasn't that great and some of the vegetables weren't so tasty nor was the eggs. * Pineapple rice and vegetables. The rice is fried and the compliment of juicy pineapples and vegetables made this a tasty dish. * Yellow Curry with vegetables. This was the star that won the day. It was spicy and it had all the wonderful aromas that you expect from a good curry dish. Overall it was a fairly good dining experience, one that would cause me to comeback again to sample some of their other menu items. I'm definitely buying their Curry again. read more

Food was terrible. Chow mien was dry and the orange chicken seemed like it was frozen chicken from the grocery store with . Spent $50 for some chow mein, orange chicken and veggie rolls. Not worth it read more

Since I've moved I've been in a quest to find the best Thai food in this area and I think I might have found one of my favorite ones. I got the Thai boat noodle soup, panang, and papaya salad. All were really good! I love how they serve the soup with thick fat noodles. Most places just use regular egg noodles or pho noodles. My soup also came with a ton of beef! The panang could have used more beef in it, but it was still good. read more

Food is some of the best Thai food I've had. The Pad See Ew is really good and the server was very kind.

I'm glad I found this place. Everything tastes good, and the service was excellent. Food came in big portion and they use good quality materials. I can't wait to go back again. read more

Not the best experience!! The garlic wings were just baked fried chicken with crushed garlic on top that tasted like they had been sitting out in a ziplock filled with moisture . The chicken pad Thai was bland and absolutely tasteless ... I had visited this place years ago and it was delightful unsure what has changed but the food definitely has . On a brighter note the staff was very friendly but if you aren't there to make friends don't stop to eat read more
