I recently went with my family and our experience was amazing. We all got add on salad bars with our meals and not only was all the food delicious but the service was amazing! Our server Marcos, not only greeting us with a great attitude but he also bought out everything we asked in a timely manner. Visited sizzler on a Sun, just around 2pm. Myself and my husband purchased the salad per, we are both seniors so drinks were free. I asked for a raspberry ice tea, he asked for a cup of water, we both got raspberry ice tea. Went to salad bar, wanted some menudo, nothing but menudo broth in the container, flag down the mgr. (Hispanic male wearing a long sleeve dress shirt) he took the moment to say it's on its way out. Went back to salad bar and stood there for 5 min, while leaning on my cane. Finally got someone to tell me it would 5 more mins for the menudo. No chicken wings in container, not soup bowls (got the last one). Spinach cranberry prepared salad was obviously old, spinach was soggy, the almonds in salad was translucent. I have one time to many at this sizzler, I reside in perris, my drive to the sizzler in Moreno Valley will have to be. We ate here last night, the food was pretty good, the service was awful. It was not busy maybe 10 tables with people in the whole restraint, and I saw 3 servers, and one guy cleaning tables. It took someone a very long time to come pick up our ticket, and then extremely long to get our drinks. Then our food was out at soon at we got drinks, since it took so long to get them. After she brought our food, she never came back to our table, I need some butter for my baked potato, but it got cold and never saw a server. My drink was empty and I was thirsty. We had to go up to the window where you order to ask for to go containers, and were told they were out, so she gave a two tiny salad bowls, which worked. Then I ask for some ice tea to go, after I tracked down a server, and had to explain that I was thirsty and our server never came back once she brought our food. I just had a salad and spaghetti with meatballs. I tried the carnitas but it was very salty. The tuna pasta salad was ok. The bread pudding was rubbery, dry and had no flavor. I did like the chocolate ice cream cone though. Lol. The hot tasty soft bread with sweet butter was awesome! Maybe next time I will order a burger. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. I took a chance got the steak with mushrooms, green beans and the shrimp and lobster pasta.. Steak- wanted it rare it was just straight up raw with absolutely no taste and chewy. Mushrooms- were probally sitting under a heat lamp and they were shriveled and dry The shrimp lobster pasta- one piece of lobster (way over cooked) and two shrimps with the tail. Also, the noodles were over cooked and mushy. It was $24, $30 with tip. Definitely NOT worth it at all. The only reason why they got 2 stars cause the hostess and the waitress were very nice. Otherwise 1 star for sure. I should know better to order a plate like that at sizzler but now you know dont waste your money on it. Its terrible.. I came today to bring my husband a US Veteran and grandson, can you believe they only give a 1.74% discount to Veterans! Not only that I ordered the all you can eat shirk and steak and they no longer offer tarter sauce. Why because they cut the fish and chips so they no longer carry it! Yet they have shrimp, and other fish items! What the heck is that about. My grandson ordered a kids menu item which was suppose to come with ice cream for dessert. Had a great experience here a few weeks ago on our way to Palm Springs. We both had the salad bar with an order of grilled chicken and a yam. The chicken was the best we've ever eaten and the yam just blew us away! Absolutely delicious. The salad bar was fresh, lots of variety, the fresh fruit was so sweet our taste buds were doing a happy dance! We also enjoyed the seafood salad and the bread pudding! The service was astounding and we were so impressed with the modern environment; it looked like it had just been renovated. Everything was squeaky clean. Will definitely return! Highly recommend.
