We had a horrible experience with the cashier when we just arrived and tried to order. I think he was from another country but offered to buy my wife a drink after we placed the order for me and my wife. We then ordered the childrens menu steak for my picky lil chihuahua to take home. I asked my wife if she would like the drink and he was disgusted said he would buy the drink for my wife. I was completely speachless and my wife was shocked. Leo is a server and always make us feel welcomed with his friendly smile and OUTSTANDING customer service. If there was book on how to provide EXCELLENT customer service his face would be on the cover. I normally would give this sizzler a 5 star rating, but on June 9th I treated myself, my sister, and close friends to dinner. I was BOLD and ordered the ribeye dinner with rice. As I started to cut into my ribeye, I noticed it was ALL fat. I didn't bring my phone so I couldn't take a pic. I tried and tried to get some good meat, but there was none. I was the last one trying to eat, and everyone else was already having ice cream. I showed my server my dinner, and the manager came over and offered to get me a new ribeye. I took this one home. I warmed it the next day. There was still alot of fat, but overall it was good. If u are going to pay 28.00 for a ribeye please, make sure your customer is getting a beautiful cut of meat read more

Very disappointed. I had been looking so forward to the special of 3 types of shrimp. The fried shrimp, which is always my favorite everywhere I go, tasted like grease, only grease. No shrimp flavor. Sizzler never disappoints. The food is always on point but I am writing this review because my family and I went there today for lunch and Darla was our server. I feel the need to take a moment to give her a shout out. We eat out often and the type of service delivered by Darla today is RARE. We were a party of 18 and she was attentive the entire time we were there. Not once did we have to ask for a refill on our drinks. She would walk by our tables, note who needed a refill, and brought it right away without us even having to ask. She constantly cleared the dishes off of our tables that were used for the salad bar. Hats off to the kitchen staff because our menu items were delicious and made very quickly. Darla was positive, happy, friendly, and just AMAZING! She was not just there because that was her job. She enjoys what she does and is such an incredible person! We are so grateful and blessed that we not only got to enjoy valuable time with family, but also meeting this wonderful soul, Darla. This restaurant has never disappointed me until today! It is Father's day and it turned out to be a cruddy lunch. The clam chowder soup had no flavor, was super bland and watery, and neither did the rice, crab, and cole slaw salad! There's a problem with the seasoning and they need to stick to the original recipes or packaged food products. I asked the waitress why the food tasted so bland and asked if there are new chefs and she admitted the kitchen team is all new. It is NOT the same anymore. The only food that satisfied me was the salad, dressings, veggies, and pineapple. Think twice before dining at the Oceanside location because for the money I paid...it wasn't worth it. read more
