I've been there twice from Temecula. This restaurant is so clean you can eat off the floor. I was so impressed. The manager Mr. G I forgot his name, was so accommodating. Today my elderly parents went to Sizzler, after being loyal regulars for years and had one of the most humiliating experiences they've ever had. They've always enjoyed their visits for the most part, but today was completely different. Their server was unbelievably rude and made them feel disrespected & humiliated. My mom and dad each ordered their own plates. My mom let my dad have her soup that came with her meal, and the waitress loudly scolded my mom in front of others, saying she was "not allowed" to share her soup with her husband (my father). My parents were shocked and embarrassed. Wanting to avoid conflict, my mom even went and paid for the soup separately. Yet even after paying, the waitress went to the register to "verify" that it had been paid for, adding even more humiliation. As a business owner myself, I would never tolerate employees speaking to customers like that. Loyal customers are what keep a business alive. Treating people especially longtime regulars with disrespect is exactly how a business loses its clientele. My parents left feeling embarrassed and hurt, and I am absolutely livid that they were treated this way. I will be contacting corporate and I will personally be calling management. read more

We haven't had sizzler in years and we found one in Oceanside. We went for lunch and I got bacon cheeseburger and ayce salad bar. I started with tacos, salad and chicken wings. The cheese toast was wonderful! By the time my cheeeburger came out, I couldn't even touch it. I made a taco bowl with guac, lettuce, sour cream and jalopenos. No taco shell and it was super good! Super clean inside restrooms and bathroom. Service was good and our sodas were topped off quick. It wasn't very busy on a lunch weekday. Thank you Sizzler! We will visit again. read more

My 15 year old wanted a buffer and Sizzler did it. Not many left. Hard for me to enjoy it with the heat lamps and not so fresh hot items. I try to stick to the actual salad bar which has fresher salad options and seems to get more care. The pasta and taco area needs help. The whole concept of purchase a main and then add the salad bar seems to have gotten pricey for what Sizzler is, but I can't handle a mediocre stake. Service was ok... picking up the plates. Desert bar was just fine. Ambiance is what you'd expect with a lot less than it used to be. If you're looking for old school buffet Sizzler hasn't changed much, it's just a bit more expensive. read more

Unlike most of our visits, today was a disappointing experience due to a lack of customer care. My family came in to enjoy the complimentary Veterans Day meal. While the other guests and staff were kind, the young woman at the register was unexpectedly dismissive. Her attitude and lack of courtesy were disheartening--especially on a day dedicated to honoring the many veterans dining there. The cashier, Ginan (listed under the name Christine C on our receipt), appeared impatient throughout the interaction. After my father showed his military ID, she rang up his meal rather than applying the complimentary discount. Had my father not been paying close attention, the transaction would have cost us nearly twenty dollars. This may seem minor, but on a day meant to celebrate him, he was instead met with unnecessary frustration. I can only imagine how many other veterans may have experienced a similar interaction today. To be clear, my family truly loves Sizzler. We often choose this restaurant to celebrate and enjoy time together. Everything else about today's visit was exceptional. The food was great, the salad bar was fresh, and both our waiter, Hugo, and bussers were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their kindness genuinely brightened our experience. My only concern is the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the cashier. I hope this feedback helps ensure that future guests--especially veterans--feel respected and appreciated. read more

I have not been to a Sizzler in over 20 years I been wanting to go back for two years since discovering one in Oceanside. It was almost as I remembered it! The place was bright and clean with little bit of nostalgia. Even the music was what I grew up with in the 1970's. I had the salad bar that was fresh and tidy. There was the usual selection of lettuce and a nice variety of toppings. Also other types of salads like seafood and tuna. They had a delightful strawberry, mango salad. A choice of 4 soups,,tacos, spaghetti and meatballs,,fried chicken wings, potato wedges with toppings . Brownies, ice cream fruit and more! My hubby had the classic combo, I tasted the Malibu Chicken always my favorite. I was worried since my palate has changed that I would be dissapointed. But no the memories flooded back. Was delicious as I remembered. Not fancy but just good quality food, reasonable pricing., and a salad bar!! Which you can't find many places. Our server/ attendant Nattale was on top of it bringing our food, refills, and clearing plates. I wish we lived closer, but will definetly be back! read more
