Mayra has great customer service. However, she was not our original waitress. There was a bit of confusion with our drink order and our original waitress was frustrated with the confusion of our drink order and by her choice, she was no longer our waitress. This decision was obvious in how she waited on others around us and Mayra waited on tables in another area and then waited on us in our area. read more

Our server Destiny was very polite and friendly. If the rest of the staff is anything like her, that will be the reason we return she was absolutely wonderful. read more

This is a really nice looking Sizzler. It's right across the street from the mall on Olive. The man at the order counter was nice. Anyway, I ordered a steak for lunch. It came with a plated salad and a side. The salad was good. There's the typical Sizzler salad bar, too, but it was about $13. My steak was really tough, so much so, I could hardly cut it with a serrated knife. I had ordered it medium rare and it looked medium rare. It was just too tough to chew what I could get cut. My server was friendly. She brought me a piece of cheese toast with my salad and refilled my drink when it was down. Even though the star of the show (the steak) was one star, everything else was great, so that's why the four stars. I will go back again next week and try again, hopefully it was just a fluke bad cut. read more

I visited Sizzler and the was great. The server, Destiny, was excellent and made sure we were satisfied with everything. She checked on us a number of times to make sure if we needed anything that it was there. 5 star rating for sure read more

We rarely come here and now I remember why. It wasn't busy at all and it took 45 minutes to get my meal and another 10 minutes for my husband to get his meal. It is so rude to eat your meal when someone else at the table doesn't have theirs. How strange to deliver them separately with such a time gap. My steak was way overdone for "medium rare" and the chicken was very dry. This was a $50 meal and it should have been better. Not sure where the fault lies but there seemed to be plenty of staff so perhaps just managed poorly. We will not be back read more

Silvia provided great service, the burger I ordered was juicy and thick. The Salad Bar had tons of options not to mention the side bar that you can make custom tacos. The Soups were hot and delicious. The tables and booths clean. read more

I used to love going here for the buffet lunch salad bar. For 2 adults and one child and sodas it's 50 something dollars. Pretty expensive. More money and less quality choices to choose from. And less choices as well. No longer have chicken wings. Replaced by mini corn dogs that taste like the ones from elementary school. Deserts is just ice cream. Gone are the bread pudding and short cake and toppings for one cream. The only thing that's good is clay chowder and cheese toast. But for 50 dollars it's a scam. Yeah it's pretty bad. Surprised this place is still open. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience at Sizzlers! From the moment we walked in, while skimming the menu, we were asked if we needed any help. Our server, Amber was amazing. She was attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was pure perfection today and just what we asked for. Cant wait to come back. read more

Food wasn't great but Silvia was our server and even though she was very busy she was very attentive. Great service.

So a friend and I decided since I hadn't been to this sizzler in years we would stop in for their salad bar for lunch. While the service was on point, friendly and helpful, the food seemed fresh and fully stocked ... they brought plates continuously. We encountered another issue: While sitting there finishing up on some yummy ice cream we noticed a bug walking across our table , along the wall over and around the booth. Although after pointing it out to the manager, he came over and apologized promptly and asked if there was anything he could do which is a common practice and appreciated. At this point what could he do? I doubt we will be returning because of this, and makes you think "If that is walking around I wonder what's in the back or in the food I just ate?" It made me sad . I eat in plenty places all over town and never see a bug . Sorry Sizzler you get 2 stars today. I hope you can get on top of it and fix the problem! read more

Absolutely love the steaks at the restaurant! It's always cooked to order and leaves me craving more! Their cheese bread is also very good, however their salad bars leaves more to be desired! It's definitely one of the more pricey spots in Merced, but also one of the best restaurants in The area! read more

Salad bar was decent. Steaks were cold and not cooked how we ordered . I upgraded to a 8 oz and was still given 6 oz and it was all fat ! I let the waitres know and she said they just go by weight and sometimes they are more fat . " so I guess just screw me . The plates took 48 mins to get to us . It was just bad all around . Best thing about it was my doggy's got Sizzlers ...‍ read more

Food was good, service was okay I understand most places are pretty understaffed. However, I had some pudding from their salad bar and I found a sharp piece of plastic in it; I notified staff immediately and I assumed they would remove the pudding from the bar but they just left it. Very disappointing. read more

I always receive excellent service from Silvia and Diego with a friendly smile, they are so helpful and caring. When I dine at Sizzler I know I'm in good hands and can enjoy my meal. My family and I love eating at Sizzler. They have a large variety of food to select from, their entrees and soups especially the salad bar are so delicious. Let's not forget the delicious cheese bread. Their ambiance is so calming and feels like being at home. Whenever I have a problem they immediately take care of it and make me feel important. They go out of their way to help and attend to all their consumers. I always get my money's worth eating at Sizzler! Thank you Silvia for always taking excellent care of my family and I when we dine at Sizzler. I also want to thank Diego and Jesse for taking care of my request yesterday when my family and I dined. Sizzler is the place to take your lovely family to dine and enjoy good food! Sincerely, Delma Peara read more

Pretty crazy how much this place has declined over the years. The burgers are alright but the potatoes were pretty dry and sad, as well as super tiny. They forgot the bacon on the burger but didn't realize til we got home as it was a Togo order. Also stood there waiting for almost 10 minutes before seeing any employees at all, even tho it wasn't busy. read more

Today's visit was outstanding!! We didn't have to wait in line and there service was OUTSTANDING TODAY!! JESSICA our waitress was on . She was taking care of stuff with the quickness. Drinks, extra plates, cheese toast u name or she took care of it. Thanks Jessica for all your help read more

Ordered 2 12 oz sirloins, mine came in two pieces and looked nothing like a sirloin, more like a flank steak. Asked the waitress, she got the manager and she tried to tell me they ran out of 12 is sirloins so they gave me two 6 oz sirloins. Ridiculous, then tried to say they would give me chicken or salad! I ordered and paid for a 12 oz steak! Giving it to my cat, avoid this Sizzler! I wanted a good dinner after a 10 hr drive, and Sizzler is usually pretty good for the price, very unhappy. read more

I went in to order dinner to go, as I'm waiting for about 20 -25 minutes for my order I'm observing the manager and hostess. The hostess was very polite and seemed to be a great asset. The manager not so much. I watched as he prepares a raspberry lemonade for a customer and gets it on his shirt, he wipes it off with the same cloth as the hostess was wiping the silverware before wrapping them. He just threw it back on the counter. The hostess had no idea as she was at the register. So the same group wanted another lemonade so a waitress removes her water glass that has already been partially consumed , as a straw was in it. She dumps the water in the bottom of the coke machine, throws the straw away and placed the glass in with the clean ones. I got my order then. I placed it in the trash as I was leaving. Disgusting, especially during a pandemic. read more

The service was excellent. Dante our server was attentive and on top of things. The food was delicious. I definitely plan on returning. The outdoor seating, while not ideal, it was still wonderfully put together and comfortable. The flowers were a nice touch :-) Thank you Merced Sizzler. read more

First time to Sizzlers in ages. Forgot about the great toasted bread they make! The salad bar had a large number of items from which to choose as well as a full taco station and a small desert/"ice cream" section. The shrimp I ordered were large and succulent. Just Outstanding! However, the ribs were scrawny and overcooked. Too hard to even eat. Our server, Itzel, was very kind and brought us replacements that were just as tough as the first. Oh, well... The steaks were good as were the potato and fries. All-in-all, the meal was good but pricey. read more

The tri-tip sirloin is awesome. Unfortunately i ordered this a week ago from my hotel and they didn't include eating utensils. This time they are charging me almost $7 more! Consistently Clean facility, fast service and tasty food. The salad bar is always clean and well stocked. The dessert area is also clean and well stocked regularly. I took off one star because this place really does put so much sodium in their food. I didn't realize it until I checked on google. My family and I always enjoy eating here, but even after eating a moderate meal, we feel drowsy with hypertension (perhaps from all that sodium?). Their steaks are salty. Their fried shrimp, and most of their chicken sandwiches, etc are all salty. It's great to bring family and friends here once in a while but I must warn you that the food here is not so healthy; even the salad bar. Be judicious and moderate with your eating. This place is just like any other Sizzler experience. It's great to come here but just don't eat too much. read more

Nice clean restaurant! Food is good, just wish they had bigger portions. Steaks are on the smaller side and Malibu chicken is also small but you get two. Salad bar is awesome! But what keeps us coming back is the waitress Sylvia. She is super sweet, genuine and really on her toes. Our glasses are never empty, she takes care of our food needs and is so personable you feel like she's a long time friend. So as long as she's there we will always sit in her section! Thank you Sylvia for being such a fabulous waitress and an even better sweet lady! read more

This was a first time I've ever been to a Sizzler and I'm going to have to say that I'm not impressed. I wouldn't necessarily say it's bad, it just wasn't great and definitely not worth the price. I got the Triple-licious so I could try the steak, ribs, and shrimp for a cost of about $18. First the 6 oz, sirloin...it was as tough and leathery as could be. It little to no flavor which is probably the reason I was asked if I wanted ketchup with it. The shrimp that came with the meal was the standard fried shrimp that you can get at any fast food joint. The ribs were very tough and drenched in a thick out of the bottle sauce. The baked potato appeared that it was at least a few hours old and wasn't warm enough to melt the copious amount of butter that was on it when it arrived at the table. I was offered some sort of a "cheese bread" that tasted like a grease sponge. It was TERRIBLE! Yes I love fried food but this was nasty. The salad bar was good, everything was fresh and tasted good. The staff were very polite and pleasant. read more

If I could give 0, I would! I had surgery and had 96%of my stomach removed. I can only eat 1 cup of food maximum! I even have a card to prove it. The manager said they would not allow me to order a child's salad bar but would give me a 'coupon' price. $10 damn dollars for 1 cup of food! Never coming back here. Not to mention the freaking flies. I took a picture of my $10 'salad'. "EDIT" for those rude people, I have the right to go out with my family. If they chose a restaurant or buffet I shouldn't have to sit in the car for choosing to better my health. I shouldn't be ripped off either. Until you have a family member going through it, keep your rudeness in check. I am open to opinion, not rude stupidity. read more

Food was okay. Little over priced for the quality of food. The servers are good very friendly. Don't like that they allow customers to come in & order without a mask. Especially right now.
