We popped in last night to order a gift card for my husband's coworker who loves Sizzler. I just can't get over the smell. As soon as you walk in and make your way closer to the register, you get punched in the face with the worst smell. The smell coming from the bathrooms is so bad! I feel bad for those unlucky folks who get seated at the tables nearest the bathrooms. There has got to be something Sizzler can do about the smell.

Food and service was horrible not even busy ordered steak and unlimited shrimp. Steak was less than 3 oz and waited for extra shrimp for 20 min never came

It's a chain restaurant and a low end chain so you know what to expect. Nothing fancy, nothing outstanding, but also nothing shockingly horrible. You get what you expect.

I have to commend the wait staff (especially Jen) and the management for making my son's post wedding luncheon a success! We had the back room to ourselves and had an amazing time. Food was good too. :)

I haven't eaten at a Sizzler for many years but it was a favorite at my house when I was growing up. My husband suggested we go there, and give it a try. It wasn't too busy so the line moved quickly. This location was popular with the over 60 crowd when we were there. The service at the ordering counter and at the table was excellent. Responsive, friendly, helpful, and attentive. The manager even stopped by our table a couple times to see that we were happy. I ordered the Malibu Chicken with mashed sweet potatoes which was just as good as I remembered. Even though the chicken is a frozen breaded patty, the ham and swiss cheese on top with yummy mustard sauce makes this a must have comfort food. My husband had the Teriyaki Steak which he said was ok, but he's very particular about his steaks. The rolls with honey butter were very good and hard to stop eating. They also offered the Texas toast which my husband likes. The dessert/ice cream bar came with every meal which was a pleasant surprise. The decor was surprisingly kept up very well and they had flat screen tv's mounted around the dining room which was new to me. We sat at a table because the booths were all taken, and my chair was a bit rickety. Overall, I enjoyed the visit and will likely return in the future.

Sizzler is a unique place, food can be "good" and prices reasonable if you are prepared. When I go to Sizzler I am not expecting to get the best steak on earth or an amazing meal, I am hoping to get a good meal at a reasonable price. I prepare by seeking out the latest coupons, usually, for steak and Malibu chicken and I am prepared to turn down all upsell efforts. They will be trying to sell you a drink, add a salad bar, upgrade your sides, upsize or add something to your steak etc. all of which could raise the price to the point of unreasonable for what you are about to get. Not sure why I like the Steak and Malibu Chicken, I think it is a nostalgia thing, kinda like Sizzler itself. Sizzler was always my mothers "fancy" place for special occasions so I went often when I was younger. Then I stayed away for decades and rediscovered it recently. The default steak that comes with the meal is small (4oz) and not high quality (sirloin). They occasionally serve me a perfectly cooked tender steak, more often than not it is only acceptably cooked and tender. The Malibu chicken is crazy low quality, a frozen pressed chicken patty with a piece of ham and swiss on it, but it hits a comfort food sweet spot for me. I think part of the reason is the sauce, even though it seems to be a simple mayo and mustard mixture. All that said, why do I go to sizzler? I can get a good meal with steak and chicken, baked potato, endless rolls and/or texas toast and a dessert bar for about eight bucks with a coupon. The rolls are the new standard and they are good but I prefer the nostalgic texas toast when I can get it, they are a bit slow and stingy with it recently.

I reached out to the manager about hosting our daughter's birthday dinner, and what followed was flawless execution. We pre planned everything including named seating, small decor, and pre ordered courses, and the team came prepared with a spreadsheet and complete confidence. The service felt almost choreographed. Plates moved through the dining room effortlessly, every dish arrived hot, perfectly timed, and beautifully presented. There truly is not one thing at WildFin that is not delicious. Each course somehow outdid the last, and the pacing was impeccable. The staff was attentive without hovering, thoughtful, and more dialed in than anywhere else I could have chosen to celebrate her. I have celebrated my own birthday at WildFin before, when friends surprised me by calling ahead and having the bill comped, so I already knew this team handled special requests with care. This experience only confirmed it. We are originally from Las Vegas, where hospitality sets a different standard, and WildFin meets and exceeds those expectations. Now that we live in Northern Utah, this is the only place we will bring friends and family when we want outstanding food and exceptional service. Thank you to Dan and the entire WildFin team. They have lots of options for seafood lovers and those who love it less. On my latest trip, I got the Prawn Scampi. The spaghettini noodles were cooked al dente, the butter garlic sauce was delicious, and when you combined them with a grape tomato, a part of the asparagus heart, and one of the prawns it was a taste symphony! A tip! Sometimes they have special where if you show them a ticket to a movie at the nearby Cinemark theater, they'll give you a free appetizer. I got the Seafood Chowder. Both the Brussel sprouts and mushroom side dishes were utterly cold and old looking as well. I told the waiter to replace the side dishes and he came back with replacements and they were cold as well. I don't get it. What happened to this place? It used to be high quality food. I will never go back, and I told many of my friends about my experience the following morning and they said it happened to them as well in the last couple months and they stopped going. Goodbye Longhorn. Keep this up and you won't be in business very long. I wish I could get my $95 back because I am definitely not happy. I will not recommend this place any more. Update: The new Kitchen manager called me and we had a detailed discussion. They gave me a gift card to compensate which I thought was very nice. The new manager is currently reviewing all aspects in the kitchen which he says will improve promptly.

I ordered the Joey Sirloin from the kid's menu which is supposed to be a 5 oz well done sirloin steak. You also get a small beverage of your choice, along with a side, and their complimentary bread. I have ordered this particular entree before with zero problems. That was not the case this last time. The first thing that I noticed was how TINY the sirloin steak was. It was basically a few bites. Pulled out my scale, and low and behold it came in weighing barely 2 oz, not 5 oz as advertised! I took photos for reference. This was a takeout order. I've always appreciated the fact that my meals come in sturdy brown paper bags stapled for freshness and safety. Well....I should have opened the bag right then and there in the store! The side that I requested was the Caesar salad and they had put the hot sirloin on top of it in the bag, so by the time I got home the lettuce was hot and wilting...but that wasn't the worst part. Oh, no. They put their few "good" lettuce leaves on top only for me to find brown, bruised, AND dirty leaves throughout. I am not kidding you, the salad had NOT been washed! I've NEVER encountered that anywhere! Rotten leaves? Yes. Dirty leaves that you could actually see AND taste? No!!! I did attempt to try it until I realized it was all filthy unwashed produce. The "complimentary bread" was not in tinfoil. It was just thrown by itself in the brown paper bag with no whipped butter, no utensils...no nothing. The small beverage had no ice and was also warm. It wasn't even hot out and this was a late evening pick-up. Never, EVER again. I cannot believe their prices here and the garbage that they serve. Guess I should be grateful it was only from the cheaper kid's menu though I actually was going to order A LOT more but something called intuition stopped me. Thank GOD for that.

Recently we had a not so great experience at a chain steak house and this more than made up for it . Worth the drive from Slc for sure . Bobbi was our server and she is the best we've had . Kept up with fresh bread and a carafe of ice tea. She was super personable and fun . The bread to start off was very fresh , soft and with the butter- chefs kiss. 3 of us got Salads and I chose the French onion soup . The broth was delicious and even though it was packed with flavor -surprisingly light. Salads were hearty and veggie forward . 3 of us got steak plates but have to mention how huge the county fried steak was -with an option of country gravy or brown gravy . That definitely will keep you full . The steaks were juicy-cooked, to perfection. My snow crab kept me occupied for most of my meal but I rarely get the option to add crab to a meal so why not. It was absolutely fantastic with the butter . We all left with doggy bags . I also had made a reservation a week before we knew we were going to visit as from photos I was not able to tell how big it was. It actually is quite huge . There are covered wagons that seat up to 10 , a private banquet area and table tops available. The decor is fun and you can actually walk around to see more of it . Since we had a reservation we didn't have to wait but there is a bar in the front incase you wish to grab a quick drink while waiting for your table . If you're a steak lover and have an appetite, definitely add Prairie Schooner to your list . I can definitely see it being a popular spot for Mothers /Fathers day and celebrations . Perhaps even take on their 20 oz Porterhouse and pair it with one of their cast iron desserts to celebrate. Until next time , Thank you for the great dining experience.!
