I absolutely love coming to this Sizzler. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is the most friendly group of people I have ever encountered. Lilia always stands out because she is so accommodating and sweet! She is always in a great mood and I can't imagine she ever has a bad day. I also love that this location is always so spotless even when it's crowded. The line at the cashier moves quickly and I can enjoy my lunch hour without having to wait in a long line. I love to indulge on the chicken wings and mac and cheese. The cheese bread is always perfect too. Of course the salad ingredients are the best. The corn and the beets are my favorite. I have not been to this location in years and was pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades. The salad bar was clean and well stocked, attendants were very busy refreshing all of the items. I ordered a Malibu chicken with unlimited salad bar, my Mom ordered the unlimited salad bar and my son ordered fried shrimp with one trip to the salad bar. We all took a trip to the salad bar and enjoyed our salads along with items from the hot bar. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon so we figured it might be while before we got our entrees. 45 minutes after we placed our order we were still waiting for our meals. I asked the server if she could check on our order and she said that the baked potatoes were not ready, despite a table seated 15 minutes AFTER us was served a baked potato. At this point I asked the server to speak with the manager to see if they could reimburse us for our meal since it was obviously a problem with our order. At this point we have been waiting for an hour, at a BUFFET no less! The manager finally comes over to say they have reimbursed us for our meal and that they have cancelled our order because the server said we didn't want it anymore. I have to say I almost flipped my lid because I was so livid!!! Why on earth would we ask for our money back and still sit and wait for our food if we didn't want it. The manager was no help either, he offered to let us continue to eat at the salad bar, are you kidding me!?!?! All we wanted was the food we ordered and recognition that 45 minutes is absolutely too long to wait for a meal at a buffet. I will not be going back to this location, horrible service and the management did not try to accommodate us for the inconvenience of the long wait. read more

DISGUSTING!!! I went last week for the salad bar. I went to get some melon, and as I sat down and looked at my plate, one of the pieces of melon had a CLEAR bite someone took from it. I told the waitress, she says "oh what?!" Took my plate, went to look at the melon on the salad bar, walked right past me, then continued serving dishes from the kitchen. There was no apology, didn't get the manager... nothing. I waited for a couple minutes, just standing there before I decided to just leave. This is much nicer than the crappy sizzler on Sepulveda. There is no stench when you walk in, the AC is at a nice cool temp, and everything is up to day. there is about a 2 year old remodel, and everything still looks new. The seat cushions are springy, and dont have ass shape imprinted into them like the old seat cusions at the sizzler on Sepulveda. i didnt give 5 stars because they screwed up my order, i got a soda, when i wanted a Stella, and i was offered grilled onions or mushrooms on my steak, i asked for onions, but got neither onions or mushrooms, whatever...not bad for a $20 steak. read more

No complaints here about the food. I had the salad bar & classic burger with fries. I signed up for their online deals club so the burger & fries were FREE! Salad bar had a decent variety and everything looked fresh - you could even take your salad plate with all your choices to the mixing station and an employee will toss the salad for you. There's also an unlimited beverage and sundae bar. This was my first time here and I would definitely come back to this location. The only thing that needs work was the woman's restroom should probably be checked up on - the floor was littered with toilet paper and unfortunately one pad near one of the trashcans in one of the stalls. So I love food, to death. However, after bringing my kids here after a haircut I was disappointed. For starters the bread was disgusting and I love sizzlers garlic bread. When the burgers came out two of the three burger buns were burnt. Upon further inspection, the meat was dry and burnt also. To top it off the drinks were horrible also. This newly renovated Sizzler in Carson Ca has surpassed my expectations. I walked in expecting the old Sizzler but I walked into a totally new Sizzler. The service is great, the food has improved and most all the salad bar is worthy of a five star restaurant. The salad bar is buffet style but you can have it hand toast it at the Toss Station and add the dressing of your choice. Bravo, Sizzler. Love what you have done to the place. read more

I am so happy with this Sizzler! The ones by me in the Torrance/Lomita area have such lame salad bars and then I discovered this one. So many more hot food items and salad fixings. And they also have a mix in bar, which I LOVE! That's pretty much the reason it gets such high starts from me! They are the only place that has this station that mixes your salads for you and it's amazing. Highly recommend! read more

One of my husband's favorite restaurant but we were disappointed today. We can always rely on good food and good service. We love the addition of the mixing station to the salad bar. The new mixing station allows the customer to add premium items and different dressing before someone hand tosses the salad. If you have not tried it, you should. You will not want any other Sizzler Salad Bar after just one visit. Today, we were extremely disappointed in the iconic garlic cheese toast!!! When the basket was placed on our table, we immediately noticed that something wasn't right. One bite and it was confirmed. I asked the server and she said that the recipe was changed. WHY? The garlic cheese toast at Sizzler was famous. Why change it. It was so bad that I only took one bite and my husband did not even try it. It was nothing like the original recipe. Sizzler go back to the original receipe!!! This new recipe may cause you to loose customers. A meal at Sizzler is not the same without the original garlic cheese toast. That is the reason for one star. Otherwise, we love Sizzler but, we may not return as often if the new garlic cheese toast continues to be on the menu. read more

I came in here 3/6/19 @6:15ish and ordered a salad bar to go. The cashier, idk her name but she has these false lashes on, rings me up and told me to get the to go plates myself. There was only one lid for the soup and I asked "do you have any more lids?" She replied "no". She doesn't check to make sure or anything. I proceeded to get my food. The salad bar was out of ranch, no chicken, soup old and lumpy and it's 6:15pm. It seemed like they didn't want to restock bar because they close at nine. There was no more banana pudding. I asked the cashier and again before going to check just flat out says "no". She then tells me that I wasn't supposed to get soup or chicken, ONLY salad. I work down the street and come often on my lunch break and I always get 2 containers. One for soup and salad. This was the first time I've heard of this. I thought when you paid for a salad bar, no matter if it's to go, it includes everything on the bar. If this was the case, instead of telling customer to get the containers themselves, give them one container. I also called another sizzler and they too said if I pay for a salad bar to go it includes everything. What sense does it make to only give customers that are dining in full access? The to go customer only gets one trip. All my to go customers go to the Sepulveda location, in Torrance, for full access to salad bar. Matter of fact, ANY location besides this one. read more

The service here is so slow. Everytime i come tk this location, it takes forever for us to get our food, for food to get replaced on the salad bar, or even to get greeted. The server who had us tonight didnt even offer a simple hi when she finally came over. She seemed pissed off at life. You'd think with all the time they took to bring out our food, they could've at least got the order right. Seriously? A Mega Bacon Cheeseburger with no bacon? It was Not that good the salad bar was under stock the whole time I was there they had three soups all were at the very bottom with maybe 2 inches to 3 inches inside the pan I sat there for 25 minutes and all I got was soup and salad bar I only got one bowl of soup the whole time I was there all three soups were empty from the time I got there to the time I left 40 minutes later . read more

It's totally true that Bad Service can make Good Food Taste Bad. I try to never leave bad reviews, especially now that most restaurants are struggling, but I was compelled to write this. I want to start by saying that the food is good and the waitresses are lovely and work hard. I ordered food to-go recently and had to deal with the same RUDE little MANAGER (Manuel) that I had experienced before. I WILL BE TAKING ALL MY MONEY TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT from now on. He was rude and curt and the most unfriendly person I've ever had to deal with there. I don't need you to be my friend, but I need you to be courteous and smile and look at your customers in the face when dealing with their money. And when a customer comes back in, after they've already picked up their food and you forgot to include something, APOLOGIZE for forgetting it. It doesn't cost you anything (except now a customer). I mentioned to this "manager" that he should apologize in the future, when they forget something essential and he still didn't apologize. So rude. Came here before and after the remodel. Love the set up now the place just looks clean. So I came around 2 pm on a Tuesday after my gf craved some steak and shrimp. Walking in , everything was easy on the eyes. The lady that took our order was very nice and was very alert to the items we ordered. The food was good as I expected but there was a problem when my drinks were never brought to my table after eating half my meal. What happened, this place it was on the right track? Went in today service was lousy had to get up three time to get Butter to ask for more toast bread and to get the take home container. The extra toast bread never came. The quality of the steaks prior to today was on par not quite but in the right direction with a steak house quality steak, today the rib eye was so chewy had to deposit one piece into a napkin it was so tuff. They now have a person that tosses salads so now its called a craft salad bar seriously they under estimate the intelligence of this former customer.
