5 stars! It was my first time dining at Sixty Vines and I will definitely be going back. This new location in Dr.Phillips is absolutely stunning. I loved the open space and design. Definitely did not feel like I was in a restaurant off of Sand Lake. The service was 10 out of 10! The hostesses were very friendly and greeted us as soon as we arrived. Shoutout to Issa! She was so nice and helped us with a special moment to celebrate on of my friends getting a promotion. The food was all delish. The veggies under my salmon dish were incredible. I really wanted to ask for a side of it to take home. We all enjoyed our meals and were glad to see there were plenty of light options, as I am intentional about ordering healthy meals. As a treat, we ordered a slice of olive oil cake to share but received the sticky toffee instead. OMG, 1000 out of 10! Like everything else, it was fantastic. The olive oil cake was good too, but that was definitely the star of the show. Another honorable mention to our server Cassidy. She was friendly , knowledgable and patient as we took our time after dinner just chatting. Also nice to have the manager on duty stop by and check n us along with the other tables. First visit was spectacular - great service by Marie; great knowledge and service focus by Mark. Modern delightful ambience. Great food. Second visit was a little disappointing. Service was slow and the rigatoni dish was mostly pieces of rigatoni and slightly undercooked eggplant. Appetizer and entree gravy were delicious. Chef needs to check food before serving. We went here hoping for a nice dinner of great service, food, and a lovely atmosphere. Instead, we got horrible service, mediocre food, and an atmosphere that leaves you going, "what?" Service Let me start off by saying that the restaurant was not very crowded when we had dinner. The service quality was not impacted due to the need to attend to multiple tables. Despite this, it took 35 minutes before we even got water. Multiple orders of wine or soft drinks were left never filled, and that became a theme with the evening. A salad never delivered, a side forgotten, just constant "forgetting" from the wait staff. When the entrees did finally arrive, it was a good 2.5 hours from the point we had originally sat down. Better judgement would have left before waiting so long, but alas we waited. Food The food was mediocre. Nothing to write home about, but nothing bad either. It was very obvious some dishes had been ready long before others as they tasted as though they had been sitting under a heating lamp for some time. The pizza had potential, but was a bit overcooked. Atmosphere The open concept is fun, in theory, but the tables are squished so far together that you are very close to your neighbor, despite the restaurant not being that crowded. The noise certainly is an issue as well, the open vibe just leaves no room for audio dispersion, so instead it just creates a loud atmosphere, almost like a sports bar. This loud atmosphere left us going "what?" To each other and the wait staff (whenever they did rarely come by). In a fitting bit of stage irony, at the end of our 3 hour dinner, a plate of dishes crashed at the back of the restaurant, marking a symbolic end of our evening. read more

Beautiful open restaurant with great ambiance. Food was excellent. Harissa Shrimp was tender and flavorful, Crispy Zucchini was lightly fried and delicious, spicy sausage pizza was well balanced and crust perfect. Chef Jose stopped by and checked on us which was a nice touch. We sat at the bar and Syera was attentive and engaging showing up at the right moments. Wine list has something for everyone. I've only been here two times (so far) but each time was really great! The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is amazing!!!! The second time I went (picture attached), I had a wine flight and charcuterie board that I shared with a friend, and we asked the bartender to choose the wines based on what we liked. We loved all of them! It's an asset to have bartenders (especially those who specialize in wine) have so much knowledge about what they do. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 was because the first time i went, I tried a creste pesto pasta that I felt didn't have that much flavor. The server said it was one of the most popular though, so enjoy at your discretion! read more

Interesting selection of wines and the fact you can order a half glass of wine for slightly less than moderate restaurants charge for a full glass. The only thing my husband and I could not tolerate was the AC blowing cold air on us the entire time. Bartender said they were having issues with the AC. 1st time here, birthday dinner with my bestie started with Essa who greeted us warmly. The ambience was awesome. The restaurant just had a really good feel to it, hard to explain but you'll understand when you go. Laura, our waitress was sweet, knowledgable and attentive. We started with the crispy zucchini and the burrata. The burrata was everything! The crispy zucchini was good, but definitely could have used some type of dipping sauce. The gingerbread old-fashioned was amazing and after just a few sips, I knew that would be my only drink for the evening. I had the pork chop which came with the tri-colored carrots, but I asked to replace the carrots with the crispy fingerling potatoes, which were absolutely delicious. The pork chop was moist, very thick and grilled to perfection. We ended our dinner with the cheesecake which blew our minds! It was so good that my friend ordered a piece to go! The cheesecake is so good that the cherries are unnecessary and I'm so glad we got them on the side because we didn't need them at all. I'll be trying the brunch next with my husband. Probably the worst service I have been too. Takes almost 30 minutes for a drink in a can. Food taking almost an hour before at the table. Only two waitresses for the whole restaurant, no management to be seen. Genuinely such a waste of time to sit for food that is subpar. Also, would appreciate not having to scan a QR code for a menu. Took two friends there for lunch and they liked their meals (although the 5" x 1.5" salmon was $34, and one glass of wine was $34 too. My pizza had one shrimp per slice and tiny bits of bacon at the middle, but it was so oily that it ruined the crispy crust. If you want a different upscale atmosphere where everyone is seated in long tables (think noisy) and feel you need 60 wines on tap, then this is the restaurant for you (and you will pay for it). read more

While trying the new Sixty Vines Sand Lake we had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is fun and lively, with modern decor that really enhances the dining experience. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, making it a great value. I want to give a special shoutout to my server, Jazz, who provided 5-star service. She was incredibly attentive and sweet, ensuring that all our needs were met. She even surprised us with an unexpected birthday dessert for my husband with a candle. We'd booked through Open Table, but due to a glitch, there was no reservation for us...apparently it was made at another restaurant with a similar name 1/4 mile away. The hostess was rather aloof, but they were able to accommodate us. We were surprised at the set-up...very unique...tables were arranged in long cafeteria/prison-type lines but were an attractive butcher-block style. There was also seating at a long bar on one side of the restaurant, side rooms and next to the waiting area, a...well...a living room seating area already occupied by a group of gentlemen enjoying themselves. The kitchen area was along one wall and open to the restaurant. We were lucky enough to be served by CiCi...a charming girl, great conversationist, knew her business well, and helped us select our meals. She should run a school for servers! Thank you CiCi. The head chef has been very inventive in not just the selections, but how they are prepared...totally different and absolutely wonderful. I'm so-so on zucchini, however, could become an addict to theirs, thinly sliced, dipped in tapioca flour and crisply fried. Yum. I had the mussels which were wonderful! My husband had a shrimp and white cheese pizza he loved. Our only complaint was the noise level...the music was WAY too loud...my ears still hurt...it was difficult to talk without leaning over the table and practically yelling. CiCi, the woman who seated us, and another staff member said many people had complained about the noise level (77 decibels) but management thought it added to the open, friendly atmosphere they were trying to create. The general manager said they could not accommodate a party over 12. On Sand Lake Road? Convention/restaurant row?? Wow, unfortunate! So I simply moved on to another restaurant who was willing and able to secure a party of this size. The decor and ambience are both beautiful and elegant. The restaurant is very clean airy and delightful. We waited a bit to get seated which was a bit frustrating as I have little kids & a 6 month old and then we waited even longer for our server so at first our experience was not going as I hoped and I started to get a bit frustrated. However our server Curtis more than made up for the inconvenience by being a terrific waiter. It was my husband's birthday. He brought him a second glass of wine on the house for our troubles, which was more than appreciated. We did not return one single dish. The only thing I really didn't care for was the fried chicken and caviar. It was flat pieces of chicken with too much breading not what I expected, but my daughter ate them with pleasure. The trout was the highlight of the meal. The charcuterie board was delicious as well especially the whipped ricotta.
