Today in the 90° weather heat, I participated in an annual event called the wicked wine run. I…read moreactually attended this event last August 2025, however, due to the 106° weather intense heat. The 1K walk of this event was canceled and rescheduled due to the extreme heat. I was so happy that decision was made for the safety of the other participants, considering the ones that did the 5K look like they were all passed out on the lawn. However, they made up this year for the event and had some great vendors and place them in the shaded areas which was very smart by the way. I had the crazy notion to sign up for the 5K run/walk. I liked the complete process of registration and how the stations were set up. It was a vast improvement from last year. This winery is placed literally right off of Highway 12 in Lodi. If you blink, you will miss the term to enter the event. I have not been able to attend the winery outside of the wicked wine, run event, however, I would like to because it's a very open and spacious area. I am so glad that I participated and completed the 5K and the reward was a metal along with a chilled glass of wine, which is another souvenir. Last the ending highlight for me besides finishing this walk, was being able to train myself to 3 Delicious St. tacos in the sea lemonade. I don't know if I'm gonna do this next year honestly I think I'd have to start training now but once again I'm so glad I did it. I'm really proud of myself.

I forgot to include in our reservation notes that we had Vegans in our office, and Wendy made sure that our Vegans had something they could eat as well without even being asked! She is a sweetheart. All the food we ate was fantastic! Paul guided us through the wine and food pairing. I wish every winery had a Paul! He was so funny, our entire office was rolling with his commentary. We begged him to come with us for the rest of our tour that day because we didn't want anyone else to pour our wine but him! A true gem! Thank you Paul, we still talk about how fantastic you are! All the wine we tasted was incredible! We had people in our group who do not like wine, and even they enjoyed this entire experience AND the wine! Overall, this the best experiences I have ever had tasting before. The ambience, people, food, and wine all exceeded my expectations. I also truly appreciate Acquiesce working with our party size!
