I came in this past Friday, not knowing what I was getting Into .. it was quite the drive coming from Stockton. However, once I arrived the scenery was so beautiful the Staff was AMAZING soooo welcoming and kind!! We had a lovely time at the winery. The drinks were fantastic, the views were beautiful, and the staff was friendly. Our only issue came when we asked for a small scoop of sorbet for my young niece. Even though we had already purchased a bottle of wine and two rounds of sorbet drinks, they still charged us for her tiny scoop. While I understand businesses have policies, it felt a little stingy considering how much we had already spent and how small the scoop was. Overall, it is still a great spot, but the customer service could be a bit more flexible for families. read more

We recently tried this place, and wow we were impressed. We went on a Saturday in December when it was absolutely freezing outside. We had reservations for 3, but evidently there was also an event going on the same day inside. Therefore, tastings were only done outside. They offered to seat us at a fire pit, so we took the option. The scenery is stunning, and so relaxing to drink wine and enjoy the view. I can only imagine how beautiful this place looks in the summer time! The staff were attentive and friendly. Honestly, nearly every wine we loved. We ended up taking a couple bottles home. We will definitely be back again, but want to taste inside where it is more cozy/warm, or we can head out in warmer weather. read more

Sunday impromptu wine tasting. Bokisch vineyards is a beautiful place set in the Lockeford rolling hills. I'm a novice wine taster so I wanted to check out their menu. I ended up choosing a bottle of their petit Verdot... what a wonderful wine! Very berry with a clean finish and no aftertaste (what I call bite). The wifey and I enjoyed their patio area dressed with pumpkins and harvest decorations. They actually have an award winning pumpkin from this season ! Hubby and I came with friends who had visited before. We were walk-ins but I think I would make a reservation next time if I came on my own. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside. They have a lovely set-up outdoors with tables and umbrellas which I'm sure is nice when the weather is more cooperative. Indoors, it was quite small!! There was a section reserved and then the bar (standing), and then about 4 chairs w/2 barrels for walk-ins. We stood for a bit at the bar and then snagged the chairs once those people left. The tasting $15, included 5 wines. I didn't find one that I liked, but they did offer us to revisit anything. The staff was friendly. I didn't see any food offerings, nor were we offered anything, which would've been nice to go w/the wine. read more

Ahh! I have no idea how I came across this yelp profile last friday, and that for the first time but it is a beautiful winery. It has great wines too, really! Terrific views, open space for the kids, high-end charcuterie boards to buy from them (instead of the typical costco cheese platter and some crackers) and they have Music in the Vineyard on Fridays. All the spots in the winery are beautiful and perfect so you can just pick anywhere to sit. Each spot has a fire pit, sunset views and they allow you to bring your own picnic. Like is there any other friendly and warm Winery out there? NO! This is it, they are amazing and this is a great place to be for hours with friends and family (and kids). This winery is truly a hidden gem! We stopped by for Sunset Sippin' on a Friday night; they offer wine to purchase by the glass or bottle with live music & lawn seating $10/person. The vineyards are beautiful & are family & pet friendly. We purchased a bottle of their Reserve Spanish blend, I thought it was quite good for a blend. I saw many groups purchase their sparkling wine, definitely going to try that one next! The live music was such a treat! The band played so well & had such a great set list. What an excellent winery! We came here for mother's day and we were surprised to find out how much space there was. They had a mother's day picnic event going on while we were there but they had it further out in the lawn area which opened up the main area for us - a great use of the space without having it be overcrowded that day. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, not stressed out despite the mothers day event going on, and they seemed to enjoy interacting with the customers. It was fairly hot the day we went but there was plenty of shade and umbrellas. The main lawn area has incredible views of the vineyard. Clean, indoor bathrooms! They are open and ready for walk ins. We came on a hot Sat afternoon and got seated under a nice cool red umbrella in a very large outdoor seating area. The shade felt great. Views were exceptional. Everything was even better once they brought out 5 little tastings in mini glass bottles. Loved the chilled whites including a very nice Albariño. Perfect for the hot day. Had two more whites and two reds. All Spanish influenced. Bought a half dozen bottles and we're on our way. Will definitely try them again when back in the area. read more
