Each employee was extremely joyful, friendly, and helpful. We were warmly greeted and eagerly served. The property was beautiful and comfortable with patio couches and cushioned chairs for seating under large, anchored umbrellas. For us, the wine was marginal and not a flavor profile fit.

Sunday impromptu wine tasting. Bokisch vineyards is a beautiful place set in the Lockeford rolling hills. I'm a novice wine taster so I wanted to check out their menu. I ended up choosing a bottle of their petit Verdot... what a wonderful wine! Very berry with a clean finish and no aftertaste (what I call bite). The wifey and I enjoyed their patio area dressed with pumpkins and harvest decorations. They actually have an award winning pumpkin from this season ! The service was knowledgeable, energetic and all around nice ! I will definitely be purchasing more of their wines as well as returning for the ambiance. Thanks Bokisch !

Hubby and I came with friends who had visited before. We were walk-ins but I think I would make a reservation next time if I came on my own. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside. They have a lovely set-up outdoors with tables and umbrellas which I'm sure is nice when the weather is more cooperative. Indoors, it was quite small!! There was a section reserved and then the bar (standing), and then about 4 chairs w/2 barrels for walk-ins. We stood for a bit at the bar and then snagged the chairs once those people left. The tasting $15, included 5 wines. I didn't find one that I liked, but they did offer us to revisit anything. The staff was friendly. I didn't see any food offerings, nor were we offered anything, which would've been nice to go w/the wine.

Ahh! I have no idea how I came across this yelp profile last friday, and that for the first time but it is a beautiful winery. It has great wines too, really! Terrific views, open space for the kids, high-end charcuterie boards to buy from them (instead of the typical costco cheese platter and some crackers) and they have Music in the Vineyard on Fridays. All the spots in the winery are beautiful and perfect so you can just pick anywhere to sit. Each spot has a fire pit, sunset views and they allow you to bring your own picnic. Like is there any other friendly and warm Winery out there? NO! This is it, they are amazing and this is a great place to be for hours with friends and family (and kids). I am definitely going back again, this year!

This winery is truly a hidden gem! We stopped by for Sunset Sippin' on a Friday night; they offer wine to purchase by the glass or bottle with live music & lawn seating $10/person. The vineyards are beautiful & are family & pet friendly. We purchased a bottle of their Reserve Spanish blend, I thought it was quite good for a blend. I saw many groups purchase their sparkling wine, definitely going to try that one next! The live music was such a treat! The band played so well & had such a great set list. Definitely will be returning & encourage everyone to take advantage of the Sunset Sippin' they offer.

Great location, Great wine. Relaxing by the vines.

What an excellent winery! We came here for mother's day and we were surprised to find out how much space there was. They had a mother's day picnic event going on while we were there but they had it further out in the lawn area which opened up the main area for us - a great use of the space without having it be overcrowded that day. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, not stressed out despite the mothers day event going on, and they seemed to enjoy interacting with the customers. It was fairly hot the day we went but there was plenty of shade and umbrellas. The main lawn area has incredible views of the vineyard. Clean, indoor bathrooms! We didn't try the food but it seemed like they had a charcuterie selection to choose from. We will definitely be coming back!

Always enjoy visiting this winery. This visit we decided to try the cheese and wine tasting which was amazing! It comes with 3 select cheese options to pair along with three tastings. We fell in love..such an amazing selection of pairings! Our favorite was the bacon jam by far. Excited to return! Forever a fan!

Even my husband, a strictly red wine drinker, fell in love with their wines and atmosphere. We started with a portfolio flight of stills and sparklings, each one was its own unique, yummy, and delicious experience - not a single one disappointed, but our favorite was the Impartation. The color is light, but the flavor is bold and had my husband forgetting that he's "not a rosé guy." The wine experience alone would bring us back, but the icing on the cake is the people and the grounds. Sammy was amazing and instantly made us feel welcome and invited our dog to roam around and explore inside while Sammy poured wine and gave us some history on the winery and winemaker. Then as we thought our visit was wrapping up, Vivian (founder and winemaker) and Peter came in to visit with us, treating us like we were all long-time friends. At that point we grabbed a glass of wine and were taken on a tour of the grounds where we were invited to take a peek in the beautiful and cozy cottage they rent out for overnight stays. From there we walked down to the river and the deck overlooking the water, which is also available for reservations if you want to relax and enjoy the wine with nature and a couple friends. We have never felt so welcome at a winery, and we did not want to leave. The whole experience was lovely and luxurious. We will definitely be back!

The rose was also good the OMFG was the one I like the most. The smell was not to my liking for the rose but that's because I enjoy more of the sparkling. One rose was like a version of an old fashion. She described it perfectly! Would definitely come back to this place. Definitely recommend as a date or with your girlfriends.

They poured so many wines. We joined our party a little late and were playing ketchup. She was great about describing all of the wines to us again, even though she had just been through the spiel. The regular zins and cabs all had a common denominator. They carried a very heavy port smell but delivered a very balanced taste. I kept expecting them to be sweet or syrupy but neither of those characteristics ever came forth. Their Dolcetto, knocked my socks off. I took a sip and knew that was going straight onto my favorite rack. Then she mentioned that it had won double golds and I can taste why! The Monte Pulciano was very smooth and enjoyable. The Late Harvest Zin was another one that I couldn't resist. Very rich and velvety but not so overpowering that you have to treat it like a port. When I say that, I mean have just a small glass with dessert because it's too rich to drink more. Pschaa. No thanks. This Late Harvest is perrfect and I know I could knock back many a glass. Volt from the Blue Port is so unique! I would have brought home a bottle of that too but she was temporarily out of stock. It carries a blue hue that I have never seen in a wine and just the slightest hint of blueberry in the taste. The Zin Port Dessert wine was the heavy syrupy sweet that I kept excepting to taste after smelling the zins & cabs. Too much for me but I'm sure some people would love it. I can't believe this is a young winery! I would have never known. Like they say, when you got it - you got it. Watts gots it.
