Wow so glad me and the hubby came to this wine cellar that offers ROSE AND SPARKLING WINE. Our service was impeccable Sammy was friendly and had great conversation. Told us about upcoming events. We came around the last hour of closing but she did not make us feel rushed at all and she serviced us feeling happy about leaving the place and wanting to come back for more. My husband tried the Rose tasting and I tried the sparkling so we can try all 6 you get 3 tastings for $15 and you can do 4 for $20. I can honestly say I loved all their sparkling wine. The rose was also good the OMFG was the one I like the most. The smell was not to my liking for the rose but that's because I enjoy more of the sparkling. One rose was like a version of an old fashion. She described it perfectly! Would definitely come back to this place. Definitely recommend as a date or with your girlfriends. read more

This place is definitely a vibe and leans into the woo girl clientele. The decor and chairs in the tasting room are immaculate and can tell everything was chosen to go together really well. The woman pouring out wine explained every bottle really well and said why the owner did what she did with each. The owner walked in and greeted us and chatted for a bit. I love that this winery is a sort of micro cellar so she can experiment with each type of wine she makes and it's small batch. We had a glass and walked down the trail to a beautiful deck that overlooks the river. We will definitely be back and might even join their wine club next time. read more

Super cute ambiance. We sat outside for our group of 9 as inside is small. Service was great! I liked some of the wine but not all so the tasting is good to see what you like. I would recommend visiting. I think there is only one bathroom so that would be my recommendation is to add more bathrooms (Bogle has some permanent fancy port-a potty like ones). There is also an Airbnb on the property with a pool which is fun! read more

Pop the Bubbles and Your Expectations -- Woo Girl Delivers! If Cinderella traded in her glass slipper for a flute of sparkling rosé, she'd be sipping it riverside at Woo Girl. This place isn't just a winery--it's a full-blown fairytale with fizz. Set in a dreamy yard that feels like nature's own VIP lounge, you're greeted by the gentle murmur of the birds, if you're lucky a little meow from the neighborhood cat, Saru and the clink of glasses in the background. No better Ambiance. Add live music to the mix, and you've got the kind of atmosphere that makes you cancel all your future plans--because frankly, nothing tops this. The rosé? Crisp, flirty, and just bold enough to say, "Yes, I sparkle and I have depth." The sparkling wine? It doesn't just tickle your taste buds--it flirts with them. Each pour feels like a standing ovation to your palate. And if you think it can't get better--plot twist--there's a cozy cottage you can stay in. Yes, they basically invented the concept of drinking responsibly and fabulously. The service? Imagine your best friend became a sommelier and also happened to be a mind reader. That good. Woo Girl isn't just a name--it's the sound you make after your first sip, your first sunset on the lawn, and your first night under the stars. Book the cottage, bring your people (or don't), and prepare to sparkle harder than the wine. special shout out to: Sammy! for exceptional service. Woo woo! read more

WOO GIRL! Cellars - Saru - the resident grape whisperer and designated driver, if needed - Wine Tasting Room Near Me - Acampo, California

We've been members of Woo Girl! for a little over a year, and have loved every minute of it! The ambiance and vibe is something you won't find anywhere in the Central Valley and certainly not at any other winery in the Lodi wine region with its hip music and tasteful accents. The service and personal touch that both Vivian and Peter (Wine Maker and Owners) give to their guests is something not many wineries in the area give, and with Sammy in the tasting room, I can't think of a more welcoming and inclusive space to taste, drink, socialize and occasionally dance at! Woo Girl isn't a cookie cutter winery like many in the area, it's a vibe, it's a state of mind, and the flavors and experience transcend and helps to evolve the Lodi Appellation. It caters to change, and those looking for something different but also holds on to what we all look for in wine. For us it's our favorite Bubbles and Rosé, it's a place that feels like home, but also feels like a little getaway in town. Go here open minded and enjoy the history of its buildings and grounds, a walk down to their deck on the river (look and listen of the wild generational peacocks!) and savor and enjoy award winning/quality wines that are sure to surprise you and become new favorites! #membersforlife read more

We had a great experience at Woo Girl! Cellars. The ambiance was perfect--so much more than just another winery. This place is truly unique. The beautifully decorated tasting room and the serene garden area, with its walk down to the river, created a relaxing vibe. The sparkling and rosé wines were great. The real highlight for me was the wine slushies. They are the perfect, refreshing treat. Sammy, who was very welcoming provided exceptional service. What truly sets this place apart is owner and winemaker Vivian Valenzuela. She is knowledgeable, beautiful and personable, which is something you truly don't get at any winery. Vivian takes the time to connect with her guests, making you feel like a friend rather than a customer. Her passion and vision are evident in the details, from the wines to the decor. Woo Girl! Cellars is a gem in Lodi Wine Country that you won't want to miss. read more

Can't wait to go back!!! There is not one thing I don't LOVE about Woo Girl! Cellars... except that they didn't open early enough on Sunday morning for me to go back for more! Even my husband, a strictly red wine drinker, fell in love with their wines and atmosphere. We started with a portfolio flight of stills and sparklings, each one was its own unique, yummy, and delicious experience - not a single one disappointed, but our favorite was the Impartation. The color is light, but the flavor is bold and had my husband forgetting that he's "not a rosé guy." The wine experience alone would bring us back, but the icing on the cake is the people and the grounds. Sammy was amazing and instantly made us feel welcome and invited our dog to roam around and explore inside while Sammy poured wine and gave us some history on the winery and winemaker. Then as we thought our visit was wrapping up, Vivian (founder and winemaker) and Peter came in to visit with us, treating us like we were all long-time friends. At that point we grabbed a glass of wine and were taken on a tour of the grounds where we were invited to take a peek in the beautiful and cozy cottage they rent out for overnight stays. From there we walked down to the river and the deck overlooking the water, which is also available for reservations if you want to relax and enjoy the wine with nature and a couple friends. We have never felt so welcome at a winery, and we did not want to leave. The whole experience was lovely and luxurious. We will definitely be back! read more

I was fortunate to discover the Woo Girl! Wine Cellars with a very family friendly vibe for my large group. Our server was Sammy who made us feel welcomed while serving several glasses of wine and those delicious slushies which were perfect for the hot day. Truly, she was the star as she told us about the wineries beginning and sharing several other interesting stories about the property. She even overheard the little ones getting restless and suggested a short ten minute walk down a path to the Mokelumne River where we were greeted by a picnic table to sit, relax, and take in the scenery. I wish I had brought a picnic lunch. I returned a few weeks later to see if my first visit was just a good day. Again, I was greeted by Sammy who picked up the conversation where we left off like we were friends for life. It felt like home and I found that refreshing because it set the mood that made the day more enjoyable. Besides, wine should be sipped and enjoyed as it connects us with family and friends. read more

WOO GIRL! Cellars - Woo Girl! Cellars is unique with Sammy as the star. Great slushies and an enjoyable scenic river walk. Wish I brought that picnic lunch. - Wine Tasting Room Near Me - Acampo, California

This is an absolute jewel among the many great wineries in the Lodi area. I'll be honest, we only discovered Woo Girl because my wife and her friend saw one of those roadside winery markers and loved the name. So we flipped a U-turn in the RV and are so glad we did. The tasting room is wonderfully decorated. The young lady serving us was so friendly and fun. Don't miss the garden, and the short walk to the river is a must. But no great winery experience is complete without great wine. Because they focus only on rosé wine, it is a unique experience to taste the subtle differences between grape varieties and techniques to produce the same style of wine. Some good, others great, but all worth the visit. read more

I just visited Woo Girl this past weekend with a group for an afternoon picnic in their outdoor patio area and we had a GREAT time! Woo Girl is extremely accommodating and inviting - we even loved the cozy touches as there were blankets on all of the chairs! So thoughtful! I forgot silverware for our charcuterie items and the owner, Vivian, was so kind and found us some to use which really made a difference! Vivian went above and beyond during our visit AND gave excellent customer service the following day, honoring a refund of our picnic table reservation since we purchased two bottles the day before. We will definitely be visiting Woo Girl again! Thank you Vivian! read more

This was my second visit to Woo girl! This place is such a GEM! We came here for a friend's birthday (there was 8 of us). The inside tasting room is gorgeous but we opted to sit outside since we were a large group. There is umbrellas for shade and tables. The garden area is so magical. Sammy was our host, she was amazing. They have Sparkling Rosé and still Rosé flights to choose (or do both!) If you have time after your flight; order a glass of bubbles and walk to the river. It's a short stroll; you may be lucky to encounter the very friendly black cat. Highly recommend visiting this winery. You can't go wrong with Rosé and Sparkling Rosé wines. read more

I went on a whim and ended up falling in love. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! WOO GIRL! Cellars, this Latina owned gem (shoutout to winemaker and founder Vivian Valenzuela) is more than a tasting room, it's a celebration of authenticity and intention. Vivian's hospitality makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in . The rosé? Easily one of the best I've ever had- crisp, refreshing, and so well balanced. And honestly, even Sammy the bartender was amazing, bringing so much good energy to the experience. Between the cozy tasting room and the dreamy garden, this spot feels nothing short of magical. Trust me, one glass and you'll understand the hype. read more

It's always a great time at WOO GIRL! The tasting room is exquisite. The garden is gorgeous and the walk to the river is always a great idea. WOO GIRL! is different to any other winery in Lodi I've been to, intimate and relaxing. Love that we can bring in our own snacks or pets when we want. How can I leave a review without mentioning their wine.. the best Rosés in Lodi!! They have a variety for any time of Rosé lover. Vivian, Peter and Sammy are always such a pleasure to see when we visit. In addition to having a great space, they also have fantastic events throughout the year. Can't wait to visit them again soon! read more

Celebrated my birthday here and the property itself was beautiful. They have plenty of outdoor seating with a lot of shade so even on warmer days you can enjoy some fresh air. The inside is equally as nice. We ordered a bottle of their Hip Hip Hooray Rosé and it was light, fresh and crisp. The customer service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone that enjoys Rosé. read more

What an absolute GEM! We spotted their sign on the sign post of area wineries and loved the name, and loved the focus on rosé even more! We stopped in and were greeted warmly by owners Vivian and Peter. We got a perfect spot in the lovely garden and got one sparkling tasting and one still tasting to try everything they were offering. The wine was all exceptional--we were especially fans of the Napa Valley Brut, the North Coast Brut, and the Rosé of Grenache Noir. Everything was so smooth, I can't believe they've only been open a short time! Looking forward to coming back again and again, as well as renting the cottage they have onsite. Love!!! read more

I knew that the Lodi/Central Valley area grew fantastic grapes but I had no idea how outstanding the wineries were until I did a little exploring. Truly some of the best wines and wineries in the world. To stand out amongst such stiff competition is no small feat. Woo Girl! Cellars does just that, and it is special in every regard. The wines are fantastic. In fact I think the best sparkling wine I've ever had is Woo Girl's Napa Valley Brut. It's perfect. The people are even better than the wines. Vivian--the owner, grower, vintner, winemaker--and her husband Peter are two of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Sammy in the tasting room is also an absolute delight. The people who make Woo! Girl what it is, along with Vivian's vision of her winery and her excellent winemaking skills make the experience enjoyable, unique and memorable. Vivian, Peter and Sammy are always thinking of what will make the guests' time there pleasurable and socially rich. There are always events on the calendar, and twice a month on Sundays there's live acoustic music by Delaware Punch. I love going for those Sundays. I'll meet friends or sit at a small lawn table on my own with a book. Great vibes and the voice of an angel. Love it. The grounds of the property are simply amazing. Super beautiful...green, shady, rivery. Really special. Every time I've gone I've met lovely people at Woo Girl! Cellars. Friendly, happy, sociable folk. It's a really fun place to visit. I can't recommend it enough. Top shelf. Well done, Woo Girl! Cellars! read more

WOO Girl! Cellars is hands-down one of my favorite stops in California wine country. It's such a refreshing change of pace to visit a winery that specializes exclusively in rosé and sparkling wine -- and not just any rosé, but really well-crafted wines sourced from some of the best regions in the state. Their wines are made from grapes grown in Napa, Sonoma, and the San Joaquin Valley, which gives their collection a beautiful range -- from crisp and dry to fruit-forward and festive. Every glass feels intentional, and every pour has a little personality. The tasting room is just as memorable as the wine: lush, elegant, and beautifully styled, yet still welcoming and relaxed. It's the kind of place where you can dress up for a girls' day or come in casual after visiting other spots -- and either way, you feel right at home. The staff truly makes the experience -- they're friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about what they're pouring. They'll walk you through the different appellations, offer great food pairing tips, and make sure everyone is having a good time. I absolutely love coming here -- it's fun, elevated, and totally unique in a region full of reds and whites. If you're a fan of bubbles, blush, and bold flavors, or just want something a little different (and a lot of fun), WOO Girl! Cellars is a must-visit. read more

Highly recommend this new venue, it's a true gem. Beautifully decorated with much thought, and a beautiful river access behind the property. You have a winemaker that is beauty and brains, super insightful and explaining her vision with the wines. Not many wineries offer the care and thoughtfulness behind the process to bring you a healthier and delicious quality wine. Come visit and lounge, you will forget you are in the Lodi Appellation, cheers! read more

WOO GIRL! Cellars is a stunning, artfully curated oasis set amongst the vines with a river running alongside. Proprietress Vivian Valenzuela is a gifted winemaker who creates some of the best rosés and sparkling rosés I've ever tasted -- Provençal wines included! As if that weren't enough of a reason to head to the Lodi valley, she's also a gifted designer and host and has created a fabulous destination for wine tasting, picnicking, and romantic weekend getaways. Bring a picnic and purchase a bottle -- or bottles :) -- of her wine and you can enjoy it in the jasmine and rose-scented garden under the shade of a mature mulberry tree as you listen to her hand-crafted playlists! Book a stay in the stylish, well appointed cottage and enjoy a free tasting and a gorgeous pool. The deck by the river is great for late afternoon sips for couples or groups. My Husband and friends came here Sunday and I'm already looking forward to our next visit. All four of us are typically red wine drinkers, but we really enjoyed the wine here and the beautiful outside seating. All this being said, our wine-tender Sammy was the cherry on top! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and curators of Woo Girl Cellars at dinner last night, and they were kind enough to share a few of their exquisite wines with us. The taste was sublime, especially on a hot summer evening. Although we didn't want to intrude on their dinner plans, Vivian and her husband Peter were very welcoming and hospitable. You definitely need to plan a trip to winery, you will not be disappointed! read more

I'm Latino too - what does that have to do this? ¿Qué carajo? The experience here was abysmal. I'm even more infuriated at the inaccurate response to my husbands review. 1 - where we initially parked was not notated as a no parking zone - no signage and a clear driveway. We moved immediately upon being asked. 2 - there were many empty tables, the place was not busy by any stretch 3. Employees were sitting at a table drinking - so how busy could they be? 58 for a bottle of sparkling is out of whack - and it's nerve to pour less than an ounce and charge $8.33 per taste. Had we known that was the pour level and price, we would have left. There's plenty of sparkling houses to choose from- this isn't one of them. Please don't counter with inaccurate information. read more

Stay away. $25 for three VERY TINY pours! You have to buy 2 bottles as well to to get the tasting waived to boot. We went for the sparkling and were VERY disappointed. The taste was fair at best. Go to LVVR or Nostra Vita if you like sparkling. $15 tastings and only one bottle waive the tasting fee at both of those places. This place tries to act like a high end winery- while the wines are fair to poor and the setting isn't anything to write home about. If you like over paying than this is the place to go.
