Hubby sidling up to the tasting room counter...

I cannot believe there aren't that many reviews for this wonderful place! Yes, it's a bit off the beaten path, but we've discovered that places like this are hidden gems with both wonderful wines and friendly service! Now, if you didn't know (which we didn't until we came here), Dancing Coyote's Pinot Grigio was featured on a Today show (the later one with Kathie Lee and Hoda) segment featuring CA wines under $15, and both ladies RAVED about this one wine the most, which was well deserved, because we got to sample it and was GREAT! Naturally, we ended up buying a bottle of this now-famous white wine! In fact, all their wines were great, and a super variety of white and reds, which I liked since I'm the "sweet/white" taster and Hubby is the "red/bold" taster. We actually ended up getting their Moscato as well, which is one of the BEST dessert wines I have ever had. Upon the suggestion of our lovely hostess, we took it home and slightly froze it, making it a kind-of "wine slushy" which was DE-LI-CIOUS! The ambiance and the prices can't be beat...we are most definitely going to make sure we stop here at Dancing Coyote Wines on our next Lodi wine country outing. Highly recommend!!

While off the beaten path, The Dancing Coyote is definitely worth a stop! Their wines are delicious, their tasting room is inviting, the property is great & the girls, Shanna & Bridget, know their stuff. I enjoy the Albariño the best, but have not been disappointed in any of the wines I've tasted. Not only that, but the price is right! Their bottles are some of the most inexpensive I've found in the region. Stop by, you won't be disappointed! Keep it up guys! I'll be back for sure!

Have seen this brand all over the country so had to stop by. Very friendly/knowledgeable staff and a gem of a tasting room inside of old brick and mortar complex. Fair $ for getting to know the wine in the area. However you judge a wine, there is something to be said of producers that can get vintage to vintage consistently correct for a fair $.

Oh My God, what idiot thought this crap up? It tastes like shit. I have to wonder what the hell is in here. It almost tastes like the grapes were rotten.

Horrible area. Rude employees. Below average tasting room. Walked out without tasting the wine. Don't bother the stop.

Their wine tasting flights rotate every month so make sure to be on the lookout for that. If you buy a bottle of wine after your tasting, the tasting fee is waived. We sat outside & they kept checking on us and making sure our glasses were filled during our fasting. No reservations needed! Walk-ins welcomed & you can also order by the glass. They also have trivia night on Fridays! Can't wait to be back!

And as a professional courtesy Layne made sure that we all had wine in our glasses as we walked through the breezeway to the aging room. The learning tour was super interesting as we got to see the locally curated oak barrels, the authentic European barrels made of French oak, as well as the stainless steel tourine used to age M2s delightfully crisp Vermintino. After the tour we re convened in the main tasting room and sat at one of M2s super duper comfy soft seating sofas. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of 2020 Patina, a delicious jammy red table wine recommended by Layne the M2. Noteworthy m2 Wines that I sampled and loved: 1. The 2021 Mokalumne River Rose 2. The 2022 m2 Estate Vinyard Vermintino

From trying their various varietals to learning more about the wine, it's production, the clarity. Troy served our tasting while we were there and trust me when I say you'll never find another person like Troy in any other winery. Along with teaching us about the wines and varietals, he was making us laugh the entire visit! Fields Family Wines is boutique. They do everything in house and by hand. This is definitely a place you're going to want to add on your visit list.

The whole layout is kind of confusing. There are not marked parking spots, and the tasting room isn't the cute wood and glass building, but inside an unmarked garage space. Which has no windows and is truly unfortunate given how gorgeous the rest of the property is. For a Saturday, there wasn't a bottle open for us to taste--the wine room attendant had to open every single one and even had my partner open bottles for her to speed things along; had he not helped, we would've been there over an hour to try the tasting line up. And again, the space is dark and uninviting. You are tucked into the corner of their production space. They need windows so badly as to not make it feel like you're in someone's garage. The wine is pretty good for the most part. The Zin and Syrah were their best offerings and I took a bottle of each home. Unlikely that we'll return though. There are far better options available in the area. Overall a pretty middling experience.

Jesse and Sarah are wonderful hosts who make your wine tasting experience special. I also have to give a big shout out to Nicole who I first worked with when we brought out a group of 8 to Lodi in 2023. She was so easy to work with figuring out what wineries to visit during our first visit to Lodi. This time around she was our driver and it was great getting to catching up with her. From the moment they pick you up at your lodging until they drop you off, everything is handled seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy the day. They offer several tour package options to fit different preferences and budgets, and every package includes a delicious charcuterie snack that is always a highlight. They are even willing to accommodate your dietary preferences and needs. One of the packages includes lunch and we have never had a bad lunch with them. Their knowledge of the local wineries, friendly personalities, and attention to detail make each tour feel personalized and memorable. Whether you're visiting Lodi for the first time or you're a returning wine lover, Coche Vino provides a fun, stress-free, and enjoyable experience. This will have been the 5th time using them and I am so thankful that we found them. We had a fantastic time and will absolutely book with Jesse and Sarah again!

At $160 per person, we got a private tour that included transportation (hotel pick-up / drop-off), four winery stops with all tasting fees covered, charcuterie boxes, and a catered lunch. Our driver Nicole was fantastic! She was fun, engaging, and made the whole day feel like we were touring with a friend. Getting our own private 18-passenger bus for just the three of us was the cherry on top! Jesse met us at our 3rd winery with lunch from Papapavlo's... it was so good, and the carbs were appreciated after two winery stops. Nicole had maps on the bus, and I was so excited to discover how many Lodi wineries are dog-friendly -- denoted by paw prints on the map legend. Now that I know Coche Vino will happily accommodate my doggo on the bus, I am one thousand percent scheduling another tour to bring him along! I would have appreciated a little more communication around the itinerary ahead of our tour. We were asked about our wine preferences, but we didn't receive any winery suggestions and our confirmed itinerary didn't arrive until 6pm the night before our tour. As a Type A planner, it would have done me well to collaborate a bit more on the perfect day together. That said, where they took us was spot-on (Lucas, Michael David, m2, and Heritage Oak) and now I have some baseline knowledge of the Lodi Appellation to proactively make suggestions for the next tour. We had such a nice time, and Coche Vino delivers something really special.
