Their wine tasting flights rotate every month so make sure to be on the lookout for that. If you buy a bottle of wine after your tasting, the tasting fee is waived. Denise was the person who helped us and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. Another worker (I didn't catch her name) but she was also very kind to us and our dog. We sat outside & they kept checking on us and making sure our glasses were filled during our fasting. No reservations needed! Walk-ins welcomed & you can also order by the glass. The varietals on m2s current flight list are outstanding. My friends and I got a "behind the scenes" tour by the founder, vintner, owner, and self proclaimed misfit and maven Layne Montgomery. And as a professional courtesy Layne made sure that we all had wine in our glasses as we walked through the breezeway to the aging room. The learning tour was super interesting as we got to see the locally curated oak barrels, the authentic European barrels made of French oak, as well as the stainless steel tourine used to age M2s delightfully crisp Vermintino. After the tour we re convened in the main tasting room and sat at one of M2s super duper comfy soft seating sofas. Love m2 Wines! I recently visited m2 for a hosted visit, and my party and I enjoyed a seated tasting and tour of the estate vineyard. When we arrived, we were greeted and taken care of by Cindy, who was a fabulous host! We had a reservation for two and seated on the red couches. The tasting room is stunning, and the architecture is very sleek and modern. The lighting is also perfect for pictures, and m2 has space available to rent out if you're planning a special event! The wines were excellent, and my favorites were the 2023 Sparkling Rose and 2020 Patina Blend, which uses three varietals sourced from the surrounding vineyard. The Syrah had some residual, and I later learned that it's characteristic of the grape. It's definitely an acquired taste and something I appreciated learning more about on our tour with cellarmaster, Reno. Reno was an expert and gave us a lot of insight into the winemaking process. One of our favorite wineries. We dropped in as a party of 7 on Saturday for our 4pm reservation. $15 tasting fee for 5 wines and waived with a bottle purchase. But we did get to try a few extra wines off menu. Mostly fruity tasting wines and have some flavor. Denise was nice and generous. The red blends that were off menu were pretty good so we all bought one to waive our tasting. You can also bring food and snacks. They have both outdoor and indoor seatings. Dogs are allowed. Once every two months my best friend and I like to get together for a wine day adventure, with our favorite being sparkling wines! This place was recommended to us by our favorite Sommelier at Michael David Winery. The grounds are really nice and a few times we have seen parties or what appear to be professional photos done here. They only offered one type of sparkling wine varietal while we were there. It had a nice flavor but our only mutual comment was the sparkling wasn't served that cold which diminished from the experience. But we still took bottle home to chill and have stopped in from time to time to visit. It's still a place I would recommend adding to your list to check out, especially for the sparkling! read more

Quite welcoming, gracious host served the wines with really great explanations of the grapes made us feel comfortable. Lots of parking nice shaded facility. We picked up lunch in town and took it out to the winery. They had really nice tables we sat and ate our lunch plus enjoyed the tasted of the wine. An absolute gem. I was out celebrating my birthday and we had asked the previous place we went to for a recommendation and this was a good one! Easy to find, plenty of parking and a beautiful winery. The service was excellent and I loved the wines. We also got cheese and crackers and the cheeses were DELIGHTFUL! I tried the brie and the goat cheese which both paired beautifully with the wines. I met a man who was also celebrating his birthday and we did a little cheers to each other. The vibe is amazing and the friendliness exudes from every corner. Stopped in the first weekend of June 2024 and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. First of all, they returned my call that I had left earlier in the week and answered all my questions. They made me reservations for a party of 4. When we arrived, our table was inside, ready for us when we arrived even though we were about 10 minutes late. The friendly hostess quickly started our pours and started from whites to reds. She threw in at least 2-3 extra tastings, which included their famous Purple Squirrel! As my boss loves squirrels, I will definitely be back for a bottle for her birthday gift. The wine is excellent here , we enjoyed several of the pours. They allowed outside food in the tastingroom , so we were able to nibble on crackers and cheese as well as purchase some of their olives & lavender cheese. The open-air tasting room is very comfortable on a nice afternoon. However, in the dead of summer, it may get pretty steamy, especially when tasting. The ambiance is comfortable and stylish. Finally, I am a sucker for professional and polite service, and we definitely were catered to here. We did end up buying 6 bottles amongst us and had a great time at M2 Winery. Our group stayed in their harvest host area for my husbands 50th birthday Party. We all had a blast and they were so easy to work with.

Booked a reservation online for a Friday tasting. Great space and covered open area . We were able to enjoy sitting outside while enjoying a tasting. I ended up really enjoying the sparkling rose and got a bottle and they were able to comp my tasting . Great place to come by and bring some food and enjoy some wine. It wasn't busy when we were there which was nice to enjoy having the place mostly to ourselves. The service was great and the people who work there were very nice and accommodating. They allow well behaved kids and pets . Great as we were able to bring our 5 yr old along. We found that other wineries nearby do not allow kids. read more

One of the highlights of trying out Lodi wines. Love the tasting room - lots of open air and although they have an indoor tasting area of sorts, there are open walls which allow for air flow. They also do a great job of making sure people are safe, spaced apart and the staff wear masks. Lodi is known primarily for its reds and m2 does a great job of showcasing them here. They are currently not doing tasting flights but you are welcome to purchase a glass or a bottle and consume on the premises. My favorite was the 2016 Old Vine Zin Soucie Vineyard. Highly recommend reservations as this place gets booked up rather quickly! read more

We found this winery by accident, following a new food vendor a couple of weeks ago. The people their are super friendly, most wines are super good. The Chardonnay and their 2019 Barbera caused me to join their wine club. Easy access off of Hwy 99. We met the wine maker the first day, and the owner yesterday at a music event. Amazing! Made reservations for two at 2pm. We arrived an hour and a half early and thankfully we were able to be seated. The table was already set up with my name! The location is beautiful! We were immediately helped and choose to do both the red and white wine tastings. The wines were all tasty and the setup was great. All staff wore masks which was great as well. I'm kicking back on some comfy patio furniture making a muggy overcast June day better with a glass of M2 Tempranillo. So in other words, life is pretty great. M2 does wine extremely well. Each varietal has a unique and flavourful taste. I love the full fruit forward flavours on the Tempranillo, the Clockstopper, and even the zins. It's so perfect. I'm so glad I know zis guy with a wine membership here. Coming to pick up parties is such fun! M2 hosts caterers that bring an array of yummy treats like tamales (toro tamales, mmm) and sliders, and there's usually someone with a cheese, chocolate or olive oil and bread pairing set up.
