Nice winery in town. Secluded spot with a fountain for ambiance outside. The wines are very good. Our favorites were the Petit Syrah and the Faith Zinfandel. Free tasting with a bottle purchase. Great place to visit. I would recommend a stop here on your trip to Lodi.

Sadly, not impressed. I really enjoy wine tasting, so much so that I make it a point to travel to different cities regularly to try out different places. what I look for is yummy wine but more importantly, great service. We stopped in on a whim because it was recommend by someone at a prior tasting room. I was impressed with the decor and feel of the inside. We were not greeted and the young lady pouring the wine sort of stood there and just poured the wine. There was no conversation and no explanations of the wines, it was a turn off to be honest. It was close to closing time (45 mins) and we felt a little rushed. We tried 2 wines, paid, and left without getting the remainder of our pours. I am not opposed to trying more of their wine, but this wouldn't be my first option.

Stopped by here on the way to Kirkwood. Great wine and amazing people. Take the detour.

McCay Cellars is not a typical Lodi winery. Tucked into the back of an industrial strip mall, their tasting room is more typical of a funky new microbrewery. Do not let looks deceive, if you can find them, this is a great place to stop. A small sign indicates which non-descript door to enter. The tasting room is large and eclectic with a giant parachute and various picnic tables and artwork. You get a five-for-five with purchase refund, but they have a large list of wines to sample. They have some unique wines available, heavy on the Zin as your would expect. I really enjoyed the Lodi Native which had a different take on Zin, working with other wineries to revive the classic tastes. This is not a typical Lodi wine experience, but I really recommend stopping by if you enjoy seeking out something different.

    Cheers

Where is the new tasting room?

The new tasting room is located at 100 S. Sacramento Street in downtown Lodi. Wether or not you've enjoyed the wines at the Turner Road location, stop by for a taste at the new location. As Mike says, "it's the same, but different".

I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee.

I was greeted and the ambiance had a relaxing, warm vibe. There are cozy chairs and couch with tables. There is a lot of natural light that just adds to the warmth. The 2 young adult baristas were so sweet and helpful. I hung out by the community board checking to see what is happening around and she brought me my drink with a smile. Overall it was a great experience and so welcoming. The hot chocolate was awesome, too. I look forward to being back to try some of their fall drinks that are now out.

My only exception being no milk products the coffee was still sweet but not overpowering and is also the fuel behind this review being so long. Evidence in itself. Let me tell you whoever was back there cooking up those bagels on 3/30/26 around 10am absolutely SMASHED IT. Made me a perfectly cooked bacon egg and cheese and surprised me with a delightful PESTO bagel. Never even heard of that s**t!!!!! So fire, nice folks. Couldn't recommend more. Will be back. They have a huge variety on the menu, so everyone can find something they like. We love their iced mochas. They taste like the old school mochas I grew up with, rich and actually tasting like coffee and chocolate, not just sugar. I also really love the espresso they use. It's smooth and strong and makes all their drinks taste better. The staff is always friendly, and it's just an easy, reliable stop when you need a good drink or a quick gift for someone. Definitely one of our local favorites. Always a good vibe here.
