Nice winery in town. Secluded spot with a fountain for ambiance outside. The wines are very good. Our favorites were the Petit Syrah and the Faith Zinfandel. Free tasting with a bottle purchase. Great place to visit. I would recommend a stop here on your trip to Lodi.

Sadly, not impressed. I really enjoy wine tasting, so much so that I make it a point to travel to different cities regularly to try out different places. what I look for is yummy wine but more importantly, great service. We stopped in on a whim because it was recommend by someone at a prior tasting room. I was impressed with the decor and feel of the inside. We were not greeted and the young lady pouring the wine sort of stood there and just poured the wine. There was no conversation and no explanations of the wines, it was a turn off to be honest. It was close to closing time (45 mins) and we felt a little rushed. We tried 2 wines, paid, and left without getting the remainder of our pours. I am not opposed to trying more of their wine, but this wouldn't be my first option.

Stopped by here on the way to Kirkwood. Great wine and amazing people. Take the detour.

McCay Cellars is not a typical Lodi winery. Tucked into the back of an industrial strip mall, their tasting room is more typical of a funky new microbrewery. Do not let looks deceive, if you can find them, this is a great place to stop. A small sign indicates which non-descript door to enter. The tasting room is large and eclectic with a giant parachute and various picnic tables and artwork. You get a five-for-five with purchase refund, but they have a large list of wines to sample. They have some unique wines available, heavy on the Zin as your would expect. I really enjoyed the Lodi Native which had a different take on Zin, working with other wineries to revive the classic tastes. This is not a typical Lodi wine experience, but I really recommend stopping by if you enjoy seeking out something different.

    Cheers

Where is the new tasting room?

The new tasting room is located at 100 S. Sacramento Street in downtown Lodi. Wether or not you've enjoyed the wines at the Turner Road location, stop by for a taste at the new location. As Mike says, "it's the same, but different".

We asked for cups but they gave it to us in a to go cup with a lid...no point in coffee art if it's going to be covered up lol. After I took off the lid I understood why LOL. At least she warned us and tried. The coffee itself was pretty good, nothing that stood out though. It's a cute shop, with a minimalist/nature feel inside...real cozy. The atmosphere alone is enough to bring us back for a second cup! Overall, the experience was pleasant.

Complementary water and access to the bathroom for guest. Slightly disappointed in their actual coffee presentation as it relates to their social media posts. I was wayyyy to excited about the pistachio latte they shared on their social media ( they presented a green "pistachio" latte topped with a cold foam and what looked like whipped cream) only to present me with a brown coffee that didn't exactly taste much like pistachio. When I asked the employee if that was my drink she said yes. I asked her why it didn't look like the photos they show on their social media and she responded as if she was let down herself. Highly recommend adjusting your social media photos or leveling up on your coffee presentation brew house or you may just have a lot of misinterpreted buyers.

The brownie had a great fudge-like texture but it was topped with more rich chocolate and then some frosting, in my opinion, it's overly sweet. The Dubai Chocolate Mocha was beautiful in appearance and just as much in flavor. It was creamy, balanced in chocolate and coffee and not too much additives for the Dubai Chocolate experience so this was a great choice of a mid-day beverage. The experience was also very pleasant with the barista/cashier showing great customer service attitude and a smile worth complimenting. With a combination of all these factors, I'd give the overall experience a solid 7/10: nothing over the top but still a great lowkey/chill experience for friends and family to fellowship or study.
