    Beautiful outdoor setting

What a great experience. We live in Sacramento so it wasn't a too far of a drive, but it's kind of scary driving on the levee roads. I'm glad my husband was driving. Right near the winery there are no dividing lines so it appears to be a one lane road, but it's actually 2 lanes. A couple of cars passed us going the other way. Scary. I slowed down really slow so they could pass, I wasn't sure I was pulled over far enough. Don't follow the GPS as it will take you the long way. Turn right if you are coming from Sacramento at the Bogle Winery sign. We went in a loop after missing our turn. There really isn't a way to make a u turn on the levee road. When we arrived we weren't sure where to park. There were several parking spaces at the end of the driveway that looked good, but there was a sign that said parking this way. Soon as we turned right all you see is 2 handicapped parking spaces. As you turn left a whole lot shows up and there were a few spaces left. The spaces are a little tight. We found parking so all was good. After you park you walk to the 2 story building and that's where the winery is. There isn't a real sign that directs you. There is an old fashion truck in front that is quite cute and would make a great photo op. Just don't touch it, so no climbing on for a even better photo op. When you get to the 2 story building walk in on the ground floor to check in. There isn't a sign and it's a bit dark in there. We took our chances and walked in. We were greeted warmly. We had the option of getting wine by the glass or bottle and sitting in the yard. The yard is beautiful. There is seating in the sun and shade. There are wooden lounge chairs that go in a circle for a group or there are picnic tables. People were at both. It looked like most people came in medium size groups. The other option is a wine tasting upstairs. You have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We opted for the wine tasting. The cost is $25 per person and comes with some palette cleansers. The palette cleansers consisted of Dried cranberries, Dried Apricots, Cashews, and a couple of breadsticks. We opted for one wine tasting and for me a charcuterie board. I don't drink wine, but I love charcuterie boards. The board was $35. Ten more dollars than the charcuterie boards they have downstairs in the fridge. I'm not sure it's the exact size, but it appeared to be the same. So there is an $10 up fee for eating in house. Either way it's still a good deal for the wine tasting and charcuterie board. We were expecting the experience to be much more. The charcuterie board is said to feed 3 people. If the three are light eaters. It should be fine if they are paring it with wine and they also have the pallet cleansing selection for the wine tasting. From what it looked like in the table behind us it's one pallet cleansing for two people. We ate most of the charcuterie board and took home a little. They also give you two chocolate chip cookies as you finish up. We were full so we didn't have those and just took them home. Hopefully they will last a couple of days as we went this past Sunday and now it's Wednesday and we still haven't eaten them yet. They are stored in Tupperware so they should last. As for the wine tasting they have a large selection of wines. They have a two sided menu. One section is stuff you can buy in all the stores such as Raley's and Pedricks, at least those are the stores we shop at and see them. Then the other several sections are as followed, a reserve section that they only have on site. Then they have 2 different sections two different labels they use, all made from there wines just different labels. These wines can be found in stores such as trader joes and at restaurants. My husband tried one of the reserve wines and four of the other wines that you can only buy on property. He said he already buys the ones they sell in the stores and doesn't need to try those. Wine tasting is any 5 wines. He really enjoyed the tasting experience and got 2 different bottles out of the 5 wines. They bring all of the wines out at once in stemless wine glasses and set them in a row before you and give you a cheat sheet to show you which wines is which. Other than the scary drive over we had a lovely experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone if you love wine and charcuterie boards. I recommend the wine tasting as a fun experience so you can try new things. Then if you want next time you can sit downstairs and enjoy the wines you tried on your first visit or you second half of your visit. The staff were really personable and came to check on us many times without being intrusive.

This was my first time at Bogle Vineyards (or at any winery in Claksburg) and I had an excellent experience. We came on a Friday afternoon when there was clear skies and perfect weather. We did the wine tasting on their upstairs porch, which was shaded and had great views of their vineyard. They gave us a glass of sparkling rosé when we first arrived, which was really nice. During the wine tasting, we were each able to choose 5 different pours from their menu. I chose the 2023 Blanc de Blancs, 2019 Reserve Malbec, Juggernaut- 2021 Russian River Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, and the 2019 Reverence. All of the wines were really good, but the Reverence was definitely my favorite. The Reverence is a mix of reds including Cab, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. It had such a nice flavor, we got this bottle to go. The only sell the Reverence at the vineyard. The staff provided us with a few snacks with our tasting - some dried fruit, breadsticks, nuts, and chocolate chip cookies. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and provided great customer service. Our server provided great recommendations on the wines and was really nice. All the staff we encountered helped make our experience great. I would recommend coming to Bogle Vineyards for wine tasting or just to buy some wine and enjoy it at the vineyard. Great place to relax and hang out.

Accommodating, affordable, and generous portion sizes. We came as a walk in day of on a weekday afternoon and were immediately sat. I believe tastings were $20 a piece and you got a welcome glass of bubbly and 5 (generous) portions of wine plus some small snacks. I know that you can buy Bogle pretty easily at grocery stores and whatnot but they did have a good bit of wine that you could only buy on the estate or online. Plus the estate was pretty.

My wife and I recently tried Bogel's wine tasting experience, which offers a pre-selected menu or the option to select the wines you want to try. We both really enjoyed the wines we tried. We ordered an additional charcuterie board, but the wine taste experience comes with a small pairing. Our host was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and helped guide us through the tasting. The ambience is nice and family-friendly. We even decided to become wine members. *One Tip: If you plan to become members, make sure to sign up before paying for the tasting experience, so you can take advantage of the member discount (they won't credit you if you join afterward).

This places is awesome. We ordered a Merlot wine. The Bogle Merlot has a deep ruby color, showcasing its rich fruit profile. On the nose, this wine offers a delightful bouquet of black cherry, plum, and dark chocolate, with hints of vanilla and subtle oak derived from barrel aging. The aromas set the stage for a robust tasting experience. Bogle Merlot is a fantastic representation of what California Merlot can be. It balances fruit richness with subtle oak influence, making it enjoyable for both seasoned wine drinkers and newcomers alike. With its quality and affordability, it's a great option for everyday enjoyment or as a gift. Whether you are a casual wine drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, exploring wines from Bogle Vineyards, particularly their Merlot, can be a delightful experience that showcases the essence of California wine culture.

Went here for a family gathering, just cousins getting together my brother, my sister it was nice. I wouldn't necessarily say it's for loudness because everybody was kind of staring at us, but we had a great time our server upstairs in the wine tasting room shit dark hair, kind of hipster Very nice very very nice. She was impeccable and she was very attentive. Overall, the place is really nice. It's down this one-way street that was kind of scary, but I made it but it was. It was good just to be aware that if you sit outside, they come to check on you once and then you're supposed to go into the winery to get your other tastings or a bottle of wine. They don't come out to make sure that you need anything. That's the only different thing that I'm kind of used to someone being like my host but all in all, I liked it, I'd go again.

This winery is very lovely! The wines are pretty good and the price cannot be beat! My friend who is from the area, introduced me to this winery and it was a very wonderful experience. We bought a bottle which only cost it like $13 and got to relax in the lawn area under the peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely make another visit here again!

We love coming here. It has a nice a/c indoor area and some on the balcony. We are members and so you get a discounted tasting and free picnic table reservations which are great for events or bigger groups. Great wine and staff.

    Bubbly at check in.

Great winery. Staff was friendly. At check in, you're offered a glass of bubbly. Cute gift shop where you check in and pick up wine. We chose to sit upstairs out in the balcony. Service was amazing, learned some Bogle family history then you select your 5 tastings. Literally tastings, I've been to many wineries that give you alittle more pours. I love Bogle wines so brought home a reserve Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The outdoor grounds look nice, shady and spread out. A relaxed outing.

I had Great experience over the weekend. There was live music over the weekend which was nice. There were a few food vendors. Many seating outdoor and indoor seating. Host greeted us at the front and gave us our wristbands and cup for tasting. They walked us through of what we need to do and guided us where each station is located. Each station has about 3 different wines total of 9 different types. I love that Bogle has many different Chardonnays because I'm not able to drink red. The chardonnays were smooth and easy to drink. I even took home a few bottles. Thank you for a great experience.

"...in the dark recesses of the cellar you sense a presence..." This is how the story about the Bogle phantom begins. Every year I wait for the new Bogle Phantom as it's released in the fall right before Halloween. I don't want to spoil the story about the phantom but just to inform y'all by definition "Bogle" is synonymous with "Phantom". Creepy right?!?...Wrong!, it's both mysterious and macabre, and their wine is on point!. Bogel's Essential Red is one of my all time favorite table reds. It's made from four varietals, old vine zin, syrah, cab sauv, and petit syrah. This wine is perfect for sipping before, during, or after a winter meal. Essential Red has a beautiful deep purply red color, and it clings beautifully to the side of any glass. Reverence is a notch above the Essential red. Reverence Red is also comprised of four varietals. This wine is inky in color and it's jammmmmy! Please oh please give me some toast for my jammmm-y wine...I can't get enough of this juice. Reverence is the wine to serve up on special occasions. Uhhh ... that is if you consider a Friday evening after a long work week a special occasion. Reverence Red is only sold at the vineyard and it's sooooo worth the drive through clarksburg winding vineyard roads. This table red has a split personality as it's BIG and jammy akin to the notion of evil and sweet, a dichotomy indeed! Reverence red's color is inky and the bouquet will release on one simple swirl. If you're a big Red you will not be disappointed with Bogle's new releases. Additional supportive factoid Bogle scored an 88 and placed silver for their Essential Red at the California state fair (summer 2024). This red table wine is scrumptious and it has an extremely economical the price point.

Love that it's family friendly. Great customer service and even better wines at affordable prices.

They didn't offer a tasting on the day we went but they did offer by the glass or buy your own bottle. We went with the bottle Tannist of the their reserve wines they only have at the winery and not in store. It was delicious, bold in flavor and not dry. Just the way I like it. To be able to sit out on their patio and gaze out at the vineyard was the best time.

The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.

Bathrooms- They have many stalls in the bathroom located to the left of the entrance. Temperature- It's cool inside, a little too cool for us today. It was 63 degrees out today and warm in the sun. I bet in the sweltering heat of our summers this is the perfect place to be. The Sugar Mill is an indoor venue. They have three different building with different wineries at this time. So, there is a little walking outside. Wine Barrels- You can buy half wine barrels for your garden for sale. Seating- They have lots of little seating areas. Inside they have a whole room with seating and nice decor. The tables are draped in white table cloths and there are stacks of wine barrels as the back drop. They have a palm court in the back and it's so quaint and beautiful. Perfect for sipping some wine slowly and chit chatting with friends. If you are looking to sit in the sun there is are a set of tables and chairs out back near the food truck. Ambiance- I love the location and building. It's an old Sugar Mill that produced sugar from sugar beets. That industry has now ended and it's now a place to visit many wineries. It's the only place that I know of that have numerous wineries and offer wine tasing for a minimum fee.

We got married at Scribner Bend in May 2025 and it was a dream from start to finish!…read more Scribner Bend was the only venue we visited during our wedding planning process because we felt so pleased with the beauty, charm, pricing, and process they offered. We were especially pleased by how much was included in the venue package that we didn't have to coordinate separately, like lighting, tables, and chairs. Shaye was an absolute delight to work with and we always felt cared for. As a queer couple, it was so nice to feel welcomed and accepted by Scribner Bend and all of their preferred vendors we spoke with. May was the perfect time to be there, the white roses on the arches were in bloom which complemented the rest of our florals beautifully. Our whole day flowed so smoothly thanks to Deija, our day-of planner provided by Scribner Bend, and all of the rest of the staff. All of our guests were so complimentary of the wine, the setting, and the flow of the evening. We really could not have wished for a better venue experience. We also want to note, Paesanos was an exceptional caterer! I know some might be concerned with not having a choice of caterer but we found it to be a relief (one less vendor to coordinate) and Paesanos did a fantastic job. Rain was amazing at communication, and Diana was wonderful to work with on the day. They even packed up a couple of containers of leftovers for us to go home with. Thank you, Scribner Bend, for being an excellent venue!

Just being there feels so relaxing, and the patio is dog-friendly too! The staff were warm and attentive, the food was delicious, and the wine tasting was an absolute delight. I can't wait to come back again soon!

Tucked away in Clarksburg, this woman-owned winery is charming and intimate. The parking lot is small (around 15 cars), but it's conveniently located right off the main road, so it's easy to find. Wine highlights: * 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (bestseller): rich and layered with ripe strawberry, plum, mocha, and a hint of spice * 2023 Montepulciano (2026 SF Chronicle Gold Winner): light, easy drinking with raspberry, cranberry, and herbal notes * 2023 Durif (my favorite): dark, bold, and complex with blackberry, plum, and a smooth structured finish * 2021 Blanc de Noir sparkling: light, crisp, and bubbly * 2025 Verdejo (new release): fresh, aromatic with peach and citrus Wine flights (any 4) are only $15: great value. They put small stickers to indicate the wine on each tasting glass. Food: Four cheese panini and Reuben panini are solid picks, served with kettle chips or salad. Service: friendly, decent speed Wine club is also very accessible: no membership fee to join, with 3 tiers (4, 6, or 12 bottles), and complimentary tastings for up to 4 guests. Restroom: 2 (two) (all genders): spacious, clean. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out: well-manicured grounds with fragrant roses, apricot trees, a charming chicken coop area, and a beautiful open event space with hanging lights. Live music every Saturday and every other Sunday adds to the experience. They also offer private event spaces where you can bring your own food (just purchase their wine), which makes it a great spot for celebrations. Overall, a perfect little weekend escape if you're looking for a relaxed, intimate winery experience. Bonus: they even have a cozy corner dedicated to adoptable cats: each with their own name and personality profile. Currently 3 boys and 1 girl, $150 per cat.

My friend and I were originally there for an event at i their tasting room but since we had the afternoon free I had to introduce her my favorite spot. It was the middle of a Saturday afternoon and we were able to be sat immediately. They had recently partnered with Country Roads and offered a tasting off of that menu which I consult resist since I taste Clarksburg Wine Co all the time. I was so excited and the wines lived up to my expectation. The list offered 8 wines of which I was able to pick 5 for $15. The tasting is waived if you purchase a bottle to which I bought two. We had a wonderful time enjoying the chill atmosphere and tasty wines. Very impressive as always and I can't wait to go back.

They claim to have the best Chenin Blanc and admittedly it was very good! Got a bottle of that and the Delta Rose at reasonable prices after the tastings. They appear to keep the place very clean with hand sanitizer abundantly available and have a nice large space with several tables for tastings. Chad was a great host and very knowledgeable about all of the wines that he poured for us and we got to sample several of them off the list! I would absolutely come back and visit again after the great experience I had with my friend.
