    Ribeye and brisket pho while
    Alexis R.

Absolutely LOVE that this is opened till midnight. Came here after a concert and was craving pho because of the cold breezy weather and soup was just perfect for the vibe. It was busy and there was a line out the door but i feel like it went by pretty quick like 10-15 min wait maybe? They have indoor and outdoor seating. I got the ribeye and brisket pho while my friends ordered the ribeye and meatball pho. Our food was delicious and i really enjoy the meat to noodle ratio. Love it love love. Keep it up. Also just a side disclaimer: bathrooms are located outside of the building and not inside. I really need to use one but i didnt know if this place even had bathrooms because i couldnt find it anywhere on their page but its not WITHIN the building.

It's fine for pho, a little pricier but it is bigger. They pretty much only have pho, not much to say except it's the strangest ambience I've ever had for a Vietnamese place. Metal bowls and pay before you eat. Very busy. Line to order and when we went around 6pm in January, the only available table was outside. They had outdoor heaters and the soup was warm so it was not too cold.

Got Pho recommendations by a few Vietnamese students at UC Davis, we came here for a quick lunch. Have to say they hit out of the park on the quantity and quality department! Every bowl of Pho is jumbo sized, broth is rich and savory, and the meats are very tender and fresh! Definitely one of the best food spots in downtown Davis.

So delicious! You won't be disappointed. Broth of rich and savory. Comes out piping hot, how it should be! Small menu but very tasty options of pho. Bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking.

If you are ever craving Pho and want it FAST-- this is the place to go. More often than not, your bowl of pho will be ready within 5 minutes-- you can wash ur hands, get some water, prep your sauce bowl-- and your pho will be ready. My favorite dish is the #13 and the only one I have tried. It consists of all the meats like tripe, tendon, ribeye, flank, meatball, etc. The meat can sometimes be really tough (especially if you go early in the morning) or really nice and tender, which is why I am giving it a 4/5 for overall consistency in the quality of food. The broth is slightly less flavorful than I would like but it is still very enjoyable and is a great comforting bowl of Pho, at the end of the day. I also think their menu only consists of variations of pho and chicken soup. When you first walk in, you order and pay in the front and you will be seated inside or outside. It is self serve water and hot tea (the last time I went there was no ice tea). The inside can get a little crowded and loud during their rush hours so I enjoy sitting outside. Overall, this is a solid Pho location in Davis!

The pho is so comforting that it healed me. Sit Lo never misses and remains my top 1 pho place in Davis

Went here for the first time and there were already people waiting before it opened. They take your order right away before sitting down and water is self serve. The pho came out piping hot with fresh noodles (extra $1.50). The fresh noodles are definitely worth getting and they already give a side of vinegar onions for free which is nice. The broth however was a bit heavy for me and the ribeye meat was clumped together during the stir fry process. It would've been nicer to have thinner pieces of the meat in their pho for better texture. Overall it is still worth a try but they only have beef based phos and they are fatty and on the heavier side.

Quick, simple, and tastes pretty good. Came back from a road trip and thought I'd give this place a try. I ordered at the register, sat down, and about 10 minutes later my food was served. The broth was very tasty but I think that if I come next time I'll get a pho without brisket.

I ordered the number one with the ribeye raw and on the side. My daughter ordered the number 14. It is served with bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime and jalapeños. My daughter comes here often and really enjoys it. I found it quite filling and the rib eye was very tender.

Came across Sit-Lo whenever I'd grab Taco Bell and thought why not give it a shot. I ordered #4 (brisket and meatball) and thought that the meat was very tender and flavorful. The broth also had an incredibly good mixture of tanginess and savory flavor. It was also my birthday and when the staff saw us celebrating, they kindly played birthday music and took pictures for us out of their own will! Definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

Our go-to pho place in Davis!! The portion size is such a good bang for your buck. I ordered the flank pho while my boyfriend ordered the ribeye and brisket pho and we loved it! We ordered them with thin noodles but I've heard great things about the fresh noodles. There's never a wait and we get our food within 10 minutes. Perfect for cold weather.

A solid pho spot in downtown Davis! I heavily recommend getting the fresh noodles as they elevate the pho a lot. If you're a big garlic fan, consider getting the Pho Hanoi!

This is without a doubt the best pho restaurant in Davis. The beef rib pho is a must try for first-timers, and all bowls have generous portions of meat, noodles, and soup. Usually, the soup is clean but the most recent time we came the broth was more fatty than usual. Otherwise, come try it and you'll find yourself regularly craving Sit Lo Saigon.

I went from a thin top to a medium weight sweater. We arrived in Davis I grabbed my jacket to pair with my sweater. Today was a day spent exploring Davis to see the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts (CCACA). What a great Conference. We come each year for this Conference and explore Davis every time we are here. After exploring the first building of the show it was coming on time to eat. We looked around the current shopping center and my husband didn't see anything he was craving. He said we'll go more into town and look for a noodle place. He said he remembered one from our last visit, down one of the alleys. Walking up the street we saw a couple of advertisements. A sandwich board was on the sidewalk for Davis Noodle CIty, the exact place we were looking for. The little Noodle Shop in the alley. We weaved through the other businesses, past the dumpling restaurant, past the outdoor seating and to the front door of the Davis Noodle City Restaurant. The out door seating looked really welcoming, but it was chilly out so we opted for eating inside with the other table that was occupied. There were 3 parties eating outside when we arrived. When we walked inside we were greeted and told to take any table. We choose a table in the corner. The menus were under the glass table top, keeping it clean and easy to read. Each place setting had its own copy of the menu. After looking at the menu, remembering what was offered on the sandwich board in front, and cross referencing it with Yelp Reviews we started ordering. We opted for the Five Spice Beef Noodles, and I asked if that was a good option and she said it was their top seller. The Yelp Reviews were only ok for that dish, but I took our chances. The second dish we ordered was the Dan Dan Noodles She tried to upscale us to the one with vegetables, but that dish was a cold dish so we when for the standard Dan Dan Noodles. Both dishes came out quickly. The Dan Dan noodles were not spicy as I anticipated, which was good, I wasn't really looking for spicy. I liked the flavor and realized that if you mixed it up there is a sauce on the bottom that is really tasty. Dan Dan Noodles ($8.25 a steal) is a solid dish and I highly reccomend it. It's a great bowlful of noodles. If you are hopping for other ingredients you are out of luck, it's 100% noodles with a sprinkling of peanuts on top and a sauce on the bottom. The Five Spice Beef Noodle Soup ($12.75)was as described in the reviews. It comes with American Broccoli and carrots. The beef is so good it melts in your mouth. The broth is minimal and lacked flavor. I'd think that it's advertised as Five Spice that it would have more flavor. I don't reccomend it if you are looking for a strong flavor. If you are looking for great meat, that melts in your mouth, but is also a little fatty then you have the perfect dish. Both dishes came with fresh noodles, none of those dried and rehydrated noodles that some places serve. The noodles on both dishes were different and pleasant. I highly reccomend their fresh noodles. Customer service was good. She came to check up on us and was pleasant. Parking is street parking. And they have a bathroom on site that is clean and well stocked.

I ordered 2 simple items for takeout, which they said would be ready around 8:20pm. On my way over, I received a call from the restaurant that they didn't have the noodle for the noodle dish I ordered, so I gave them the green light to substitute for a different rice noodle. The pickup time was now 8:35. When I arrived, it was bright out, the restaurant was loud, and the waiting area was standing room only. I ended up waiting so long that the sun set, the waiting area emptied, half the dining tables cleared, the NBA game ended, the kitchen closed, and staff started cleaning! The front desk person seemed concerned that my order wasn't ready so she checked on my order a couple times. She assured me the noodles were done and it was only the egg tarts that we were waiting for. (Maybe the hens were still hatching the eggs?!!) Considering I ordered online and even waited before driving over, it was ridiculous to still wait an hour for 2 items. I even watched people come in to get seated, order and eat during my time there. I was about to cancel my order to get a refund -- and forego eating dinner altogether because waiting so long there had made me lose my appetite. It seemed obvious there was a mess up somewhere because it was only my order that was not ready. But then someone brought out my bag. The food was honestly just okay. The egg tarts were a 7/10 and dry chow fun was a 4/10. The experience was a 0/10. I can't recommend it. It could've been a fluke experience but the manager could have handled it better. My order should have been comped for taking ONE HOUR longer than it was supposed to be ready.

Since then, the former sake bar has been removed as part of the restaurant's evolution into a full-fledged shokudo concept. Service was friendly, our food arrived promptly, and the overall ambience struck a nice balance between a cozy ramen shop and a casual Japanese eatery.

The drink was standard, though a little sweet for my liking. Next time we'll adjust the sweetness to be a little bit lower. The aloe was strangely very mushy and not very enjoyable. The cold noodles with peanut sauce were a little disappointing. I found it to be overwhelmingly, salty, though the rest of it tasted fine. I enjoyed the beef noodle soup more, especially once you added the pickled mustard greens. The noodle texture was not my favorite, but soup was pretty good and the beef was well cooked. Overall, it really itched that scratch and I was satisfied. Both noodle dishes were hefty. My kid mentioned they usually are very pack and people would dine outdoor, but I guess we arrived early so there wasn't any wait time. Ordered few items, food came out very fast and the tastes are not bad at all. Beef Fried Rice Noodles: How do you differentiate if this dish is good or not, it is about how much excessive oil that's left on the plate. The stir fried was good, not too greasy, and they marinate the meat well. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, this place's meat was good. Only they could stir fried with even higher eat to create more "wok air" Sticky Rice Stick with Brown Sugar: First time trying this dish, so not sure what to expect. But it does seem to be a dessert to me, my comment would be higher if the rice stick is more chewy. Hot & Sour Shredded Potato: This is common dish from northern part of China. The way they prepared was awesome. The potato was not starchy and the seasoning is just right. A bit greasy but this is actually my favorite dish! Shrimp and Pork with Chives Dumplings: Meat is fresh and dumpling wrap is great too. Each dumpling size is not too big and wasn't torn. Taste is okay but maybe try another filling if I visit again. I would come again to try out other things on the menu if I'm visiting my kid again.
