Some of the cake slices looked expensive at around $10 but that can be typical for some fancier bakeries just be aware. Some other prices pictured - $8 tiramisu cup, $7 apple crisp, etc. I look forward to coming back and trying more. They have many cute cards for sale as well as teas, coffee, earrings, magnets, stickers, and other merch. There's a clear Vietnamese influence as they offer some Lays chips flavors usually sold in Asia and some Vietnamese print postcards. They have free wifi and a restroom available. Plenty of outlets available - seems like it would be a good place to study as there were many people studying and they are open to 10pm on some weekdays. Unsure about the parking situation since I walked.

The cake batter and fudge were my favorite macaroons. The peanut butter brownie was tasty also, more brownie with a light peanut butter flavor. The layers gave it a creamy texture. I would have liked the names listed in the case for the cupcakes and cookies, but the lady was kind to list them off. But then I didn't want to keep asking her to repeat the names I forgot, so my son just picked something that looked nice although unsure of the flavor. The staff was very nice and the space is beautifully decorated. Parking is very easy here and a bonus is that this shop is located right next to the Liverpool public library! Thanks for the tasty treat before we head into the library!

At first the location seems less than promising, but inside the little touches of decor make for a charming, if not polished experience. It is still largely a bar that serves food, but the food is impressive in both quality and low price. The little details like in-house made desserts, house ranch dressing, and hand cut fries are a pleasant surprise. The organization behind staggered brunch seating lends itself well to good availability of items, freshness, and service. The menu includes frequently updated seasonal choices. This is also a LGBTQ+ bar. Brunch menus are regularly posted on Facebook, and the process for text message based reservations is convenient. Possibly one of the most surprisingly good restaurants in the greater Syracuse area.

That proved so popular that owner Carrie Fanizzi had to move to bigger quarters at Northern Lights Mall in 2010. Two years later, due to a variety of economic and personal issues, Fanizzi closed up, then briefly had a retail outlet at Niko's Restaurant in downtown's Hanover Square, and then settled in for a long run exclusively selling cakes wholesale to restaurants. At the end of 2021, Fanizzi finally got back into the retail business. Big Mama's opened its own shop for the first time in almost a decade at 6598 Thompson Road near Carrier Circle in DeWitt. That's the former Pronto Joey's building near Joey's Restaurant. The wife and I had had Big Mama's cheesecake when it was being sold as individual slices out of other establishments and always enjoyed it. Once we saw they had their own spot, we knew we had to hit the up as well. We've had several different flavors from them and they're all great. They have the usual stuff you'd expect to see, but some different off the wall flavors you won't find anywhere else, like creamscicle. The space is small for customers, you just walk in right to a counter and order from the flavors they have. The employees are always very friendly, and slices are priced comparably to other places. I'd definitely recommend going and picking you up a slice. Or several slices.
