I've been meaning to go to this place and I was finally in the area. I don't go to Beaver Creek Commons often... this is past the Target. So I learned there's an Office Max back there! My GPS sort of gave up when I entered the parking lot for the whole shopping center but I was able to find this place on instinct! My first impression of SipCha is that it's very bright and Instagram ready!!! Unfortunately, there's no hanging out inside got now. But they have cute tables and some board games and backgrounds for cool drink pics. I'm not cool, so I took my drink pic in the parking lot! However, I like that they were trying to give me an easy opportunity to take a better one. I arrived on a Friday afternoon and there was a wait. They were pretty busy, probably five orders ahead of me that they were frantically working on. I waited at least five minutes for them to start taking orders again. It wasn't bad because I needed to study the menu. Their menu board is not very detailed, but there's descriptions on the menu online. Then I realized they have a detailed printed menu upfront. So be sure to grab that if you need to do some thinking. So many choices! I love fruity milk teas and they had a few. But today I was in the mood for something more classic, which is the brown sugar bubble. It's just black tea, brown sugar, milk and boba! I figured a simple drink would give me a sense of the place. Hurray, this place has Apple Pay! I told the cashier it was my first time at SipCha and he was really friendly. Even though I had to wait to order I didn't have to wait very long for my order. They seemed to clear everyone out at the same time. So the wait wasn't bad at all. My first sip of the bubble tea, I wasn't impressed. Then I remembered the bubble tea barista told me to stir it up. So I did and after that it was perfect. It really was so good. Smooth, creamy and sweet! They add a lot of boba and they are easy to drink and chewy. I liked that they were softer, chewier and smaller than other places I've been to because the straw worked so well. All in all, cute place, good service and yummy boba tea. I'll be back to try the mango milk tea and the crystal boba. read more

I went to SipCha with my friends to explore some more bubble tea places in the area. First impression: super cute atmosphere. I could imagine hanging out/studying here if it weren't for Covid. Service was friendly but surprisingly slow. There were two people working and only three orders, yet we had to wait for quite a long time. The drinks were pretty, but the taste was kind of disappointing. The boba was fine (my friend thought it was a little soft), but the actual teas were just ok. I got the Peach Blossom, which I was so excited about because peach is my all-time favorite fruit. I've never encountered a good peach milk tea, and after this experience, I still haven't. If I had to describe the taste, it would be like Activia peach yogurt in liquid form. Not bad, but not what I was looking for. There wasn't the tea taste that I crave and there were weird peach skin pieces inside. Now I love peaches, but getting random pieces of peach skin to chew on while drinking is less than desirable. My friend ordered the Mango in the Jungle, which was very sweet, had mango chunks in it, but once again, was missing that tea flavor. If you're a big fan of mango and have a big sweet tooth, I'd recommend this one. My other friend is vegan so she got the Matcha Milk Tea with soy milk. It was a weird color and she could feel the matcha powder in the back of her throat, leading to an unpleasant texture and overall experience. The tea was not sweet at all, and somehow lacking matcha flavor too. Don't really recommend this one. I'll have to come back to try their black tea to see if it's any better. I just think there are so many better bubble tea places out there. read more

I'm so excited to have a Boba place in Apex! Moved here not long ago and didn't think I'd find a place with such high quality. I'm used to bubble milk tea you'd find in Chicago's Chinatown and this is right up there with them. The owner was in and really took the time to explain the drinks and the best way to enjoy them. He did it in a way to make it very accessible to those new to milk tea, which was pretty awesome. Example from my first trip: The Brown Sugar Bubble, was very aesthetically appealing in the separate layers, but is best enjoyed with a quick mix. The Berry Berry Good is best enjoyed right away (so the freshly blended fruit doesn't separate) through the sipping hole in the top so that the slightly salty milk foam can mix with the fruity mix below. If you get boba with it, you should wait to use a straw until you've had most of the milk foam. I've also enjoyed the Strawberry Matcha (with real strawberry bits!) and the Rose Milk Tea (which had rose petals mixed in and a tea bag in the bottom). Everything I've tried have tasted wonderful and the boba have been spot on in terms of flavor and firmness. They're also don't mind adjusting to your needs (sweetness, how strong the tea is, if you like more/less matcha, etc.) I really like how they brew the tea fresh (I've ordered here since and found the tea bags left over), fresh fruit, and have special seasonal teas. Currently: Persimmon Milk Tea, Plum Milk Tea, and Dragon(?) tea that had dragonfruit and watermelon as the base. They have such a lovely assortment of milk teas, milk cap teas (newer in the boba world), and fruit teas that I'm planning on slowly working my way through their menu. I foresee many Sipcha+Target trips in my future. read more

I have always been a big fan of Boba Milk tea. I believe that I've tried all the milk tea places in the Triad area and Triangle areas. But SipCha is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I went with basic Milk tea with boba for the first try and these are my thoughts: - Too expensive for a medium size of basic drink with boba: $6.04. It usually costs me about $4-$4.50 when I order similar items at Cha House, Gong Cha or Kungfu tea. And they are all brewed tea. - Too sweet. The sweetness is also weird, it doesn't taste richful like other places, more likely sugar sweet. - The place is pretty nice design. Won't plan to come back. read more

Stopped in after checking out the reviews. Cute small space located In the Beaver Creek Commons. I'm a sucker for neon signs, trendy decor and a boba shop that offers board games and uno cards to chill and unwind while enjoying your drinks! I ordered the strawberry milk tea with strawberries. I really liked the flavors. It was the perfect sweetness and of course looked pretty. Also tired the peach blossom tea with boba. SipCha is a nice tea shop added to the Apex food scene. It seems like these shops are popping up more often in the Triangle but SipCha is different. The tea actually taste like real brewed tea. The menu features different types of boba and tea options. My favorite are the milk cap teas. I ordered the strawberry one and enjoyed it. The names are fun but can but quite confusing. They do have a menu with descriptions of each drink. I would suggest putting it on the big menu or television monitor. read more

Initial service was good. Rolled ice cream was delicious. Unfortunately we waited over 35 min for a Strawberry Cloud Waffle. After 10 min I asked employees about it and they said it was cooling down. After 40 min never got it and asked for a refund for the waffle. In the end they refunded us $20 out of $25. Hopefully this visit was just one of those times they slipped up. My friend and I have been coming here for YEARS, the service has always been fine and the drinks were good. This past time seemed more unorganized than it used to be. I would suggest a name system rather than calling out the drinks. The majority of everyone is going to get brown sugar boba, how do you know who ordered it first? It felt like first come first serve for whatever drinks they put out, even if it was the wrong drink. It's a confusing system for all parties involved. We also got the bubble waffle, and while it tasted fine, their sizes are definitely smaller and we had to wait quite a bit for it. read more

New tea/ice cream joint in Beaver Creek. I had the taro and my fiance had the dragon fruit with milk cap. the taro was flavorful but a little too sweet for me. Next time I'll ask for less sugar. The milk cap was saltier than kungfu teas and quickly. The label also gives instructions on how best to drink milk cap tea. The flavor of the dragon fruit tea was even sweeter than taro and very colorful. Personally I liked the taro drink better. The business was busy and constantly had a line of 1 or 2 parties during our entire time there. There are a few games to play if you choose to lounge there. I got a black tea with boba and it was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary in my opinion. The boba was too chewy for my tastes (I like the KFT boba chewiness) but still well cooked. The staff all wore masks and social distancing was enforced in the store as well. read more

I originally discovered SipCha through a Yelp event! I was hooked! They aren't close to my house, but they are close to one of my friend's houses. When I was headed to her house I knew I had to stop in at SipChat first. While I enjoyed the fruit tea, the milk cap teas are my favorite. On my last visit it was a little light on the milk cap, I'll probably ask for extra next time. The strawberry milk and the mango green tea are both ones I'd get again. They have a bunch of seasonal flavors as well. Almost everything is made with fresh fruit, you can taste it! They also whip up their milk cap from scratch as well. They really pride themselves on quality ingredients and you can certainly taste the difference. The last time I was in they ran out of boba so the wait was long while they made more. They were slammed on a Tuesday night so I'm sure they weren't expecting the rush. That's not the norm though on my other visits things were speedy. If you are in the area head in here. This is out go-to place when my girls and I are craving Boba or Milk Tea. Love the Matcha and Thai Milk Teas, and once in a while will get the Taro Ube Milk Cap to treat myself. Would give it five stars but the wait can be long most times. Service is always good, and as many as there are Boba Tea Makers, I would think the wait would be less. I love bubble tea! SipCha has my favorite drink, rose milk tea. It was fragrant and sweet enough using only the rose syrup, no added fructose. The rose petals were a nice touch. My only complaint is that the lid does not fit snuggly and so the cup would drip when I sipped from it instead of using a straw. Price is a bit high too, especially considering that they charge for any reduction in ice. read more

Best tasting boba in the triangle area. The drinks are 100% genuine to the tee. I was accustomed to getting Boba in garden grove and Long Beach for many many years where I used to work. I've searched far and wide and this is the place for you. True to SoCal style, they even let you pick your sweetness level, there's two sizes and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Flavors are a thing of beauty here and the staff is awesome. Walking in here feels like I never left SoCal. I am not usually a reviewer but this place truly deserves it. I have tried many boba places in the triangle and this one is my favorite by a land slide! I have tried multiple different drinks and all have come out amazing. I use a jasmine milk tea as a general gauge of how well a shop is going to make my drinks. This place is the best! It's always good on the Jasmine flavor, no astringency to the tea, and the boba is never undercooked. I will of course be coming back here again and again! read more

If you follow any of my reviews, you know I'm a sucker for bubble tea of any kind. I had been referred to this place by a friend, and was happy I tried it! I ordered the brown sugar boba tea, which was very tasty. It was just the right amount of sweet and tea flavored combo, but I could have used a little bit more boba. For a bubble tea beginner, this would probably be an ideal drink to order. My boyfriend got a black tea, which he said was very satisfying and cooling. Best bobba! Rose water and strawberry matcha are really good. I also love their rolled ice cream. Favorite is banana split and the Oreo cookies and chocolate heaven are very good.
