It's our very first weekend here being new residents here in Washington so we decided to venture a wee bit. We had some errands to run for our truck out in Tacoma, so we decided to check out Tacoma Mall while we're in the area. We had breakfast not very long ago prior to arriving here so my daughter and I just wanted a quick snack. I'd like to think that I'm a pretty avid boba lover myself and was excited to try somewhere new since I know I'll have to find my "go to boba spot" up here now. We got to the mall a little after 10am, and did a little shopping before finally grabbing a drink before heading back home. We got to the counter at exactly 10:52am. There was one other customer ahead of us also waiting for boba, and then one person waiting for pokè. Their was no signage on sight to know what time they opened, so we were all kind of just waiting lol. No biggie as I had nowhere to go anyways. 11am finally came and our orders were taken. There were 2 guys working that day, one for each station. I love coffee and boba, so whenever boba places offer coffee bases/drinks, you can count on me to get just that. The taste of the coffee slush was delicious! However the sweetened condensed milk made it too sweet for my liking. Their menu is quite extensive without detail so I wasn't aware that it would come this way. Had I known, I would have opted out for the sweetened condensed milk walls. The texture of the boba was kind of odd. I'm not sure if they had some not cooked enough boba mixed with some fresh/well done boba cause some of them were really nice and chewy, and then some of them were not so great and still powdery in the middle. From trying to guess which ones were good, and trying not to sip up the condensed milk, I really had to work to enjoy my drink lol! I'd definitely give them another try when we have the opportunity to do so and will definitely opt out of the extra sweetness. read more

So let me just say the actual Tea itself was amazing definitely recommend the Peach/Mango Tea no extras perfect amount of sweet to tangy. We also got a Macaron and ill say pass on those definitely not a hit. We went to this place when they were new a few months ago because their name sounded cool and we had to try it. The drinks were 90% ice, 7% toppings and 3% drink. One sip and no need for spoon cause you're done drinking by the time the tea goes down to your stomach. The service was great and they helped us with their menu: what's a seller and such. Wait time was fairly okay but they needed a better way to call customers their orders as the caller wasn't loud. read more

I wasn't much of a fan of the strawberry matcha drink because it tasted much like powder.. the flavor didn't really have that much flavor either which was upsetting because I was so excited to try this place! I'd come here again though to try the other options on the menu! read more

This was honestly the worst poke I've ever had. Why? Because I literally couldn't even finish it due to how bad it was. The toppings were all definitely canned, and the tofu wasn't even drained (so it made everything soggy), but the worst part was the rice. The rice had this overwhelming flavor to it, and it wasn't a good one. Dishwater would've tasted better than this rice. Poke places are all over, go anywhere else. read more

This is one of the best boba places I've gone to in awhile. I asked for the honey milk tea with tapioca and I believe her name was Sabrina, I told her that if it was less than my satisfaction, I would've asked for a refund and a discount on my next drink, as I believe all places deserve second chances. This was hands down the most disappointing açaí bowl and customer experience. It took 30 mins from placing the order until I received it, with a bunch of other customers coming after me, receiving their orders first. There are only 3 bowl options, with no room for deviation. I'd suggest buying some frozen fruit, going home and making your own bowl. Save yourself a ton of time, money and headache. read more

Bubble tea I had was excellent just service sucks I was waiting in line when 2 girls cut in front of me and the employee began chatting with them for nearly 5 minutes, they were clearly her friends and it was clearly more important to have a long conversation than serve those of us waiting in line. I became aggressively sick a few hours after trying my first boba here. When I've ordered boba elsewhere I usually get a black milk tea, same drink I ordered here. When I took my first sip the flavor was really different. I did mention something to the staff, the gal shrugged and said " I don't know." I finished only a 1/3 of the drink before I threw it out. My family and I love us some boba, milk tea and all the other yumminess that these types of establishments provide so we were pretty excited to hear about this place opening up in Tacoma, even if it's in the mall. After seeing a bunch of social media posting about this place we finally made our way after a mall visit. Walking up, I didn't realize that they are also the new poke place in the mall and I'll have to try that later, as I love me some poke as well. First thing I noticed was that the line to this place is not defined, especially since it's a combined storefront, so we kinda stood there for a few and finally had to speak up and let the group of 3-4 workers just standing behind the counter, that we wanted to order. Had to try the mangonada and paid for the tamarind straw of course! Went with a Taro milk tea iced, added lychee jelly, the oolong milk tea iced, add popping boba and then a watermelon breeze for the little. Overall the drinks were pretty taste, the watermelon breeze was not, basically an overpriced slurpee, if that. They only offer one size, so for the littles this place can be a bit much. Overall it's a great open to have, location is not great, unless you are at the mall and service definitely needs some help as they don't seem too excited to be working there. read more

I tried this place out and if you from the islands your kind of skeptical about poke places but I had to try and let me tell you it was bomb the ahi didn't have that frozen taste it was fresh and you get to put whatever you want on it I had white rice with furikaki spicy ahi with green onion and regular onion top with crunchy dried onion topping if you from the island you know what's good the guy was really nice and he's from the island too I will definitely be coming back much mahalo! read more

Tis Gucci overall. Uhm. Over priced but that's because it's the Mall and that place cost a ton to rent at. Uhm, the mangoladas are fire. Milk tea, sorta wack. Creative drinks though, I'll give a 10/10 because bro, their drinks are cute asf and aesthetically pleasing for them young likes on insta ya feeeel? Poke bar, eeee, that's hard. Good deal for three proteins and plenty of toppings and the food is super fresh. However, that young Shoyu sauce or whatever that brown sauce was, mannnnnn, xtremely salty. I wanted to die. Every time I go here they are crackin! But the wait is never bad and the team they have working is always friendly and fast. My go to is the mangonada with the tamarind straw :-p I love the mango bits the put at the bottom and top! all was good ice cream macarons were soooo good I recommend the fruity pebble one or the ube (taro) one or get both.. taro milk tea was decent and boba balls were good. wanna try their açaí bowls next which I suppose are good... would give a 5 star but this one girl who works there named pam whatever was rude, had a stuck up attitude, & looked like she was irritated if she don't change they need to fire her it's like she hates her job and looks like she doesn't wanna be there so I called their phone to report to the manager bc she isn't a good worker and she obviously doesn't really have experience.. you could tell the manager wasn't so understanding but said he'd talk to her but all was good i'd would come back UPDATE -------- I went back and got some drinks.. mangonada didn't even taste like mangonada but tasted decent. the taro milk tea wasn't good this time and tasted like they rushed it knowing that they prepared my whole order in like 5 minutes and the tapioca balls tasted old and smelled weird. also they charge u $1.25 for a tamarind straw w/ the mangonada which I think is ridiculous because first the mangonada isn't even good so why not just put in the straw for free?? ordered the watermelon slush and doesn't even taste like fresh or at least REAL watermelon. Tasted like they just blended in some type of extract or something and it tasted like a very very sweet watermelon candy at first then it started to taste like pepto bismol which was disgusting because who likes to get a drink that's like 6 bucks that tastes like medicine... the only favorite thing of this order this time was again a fruity pebbles and ube ice cream macaron oh yeah and update sip + spoon don't even make those macarons so no wonder they are so good.. it was also ridiculous how 2 mangonadas, a taro milk tea w/ boba balls, 2 ice cream macarons, and a watermelon slush and oh yeah wait I forgot THE TAMARIND STRAW came up to a total of $40!!!! Also the staff there are really stuck up and even w the guys.. always giving looks to people including me and still seem like they are all that their was only one nice girl and that girl pam was there but good thing she wasn't the one who was at the cashier.. the guys think they are so cool and same with the girls but I expected that since most of them look like teenagers. and also they did not even have enough change to give back to me so it took like 5 minutes for them to find change which was disappointing and such an inconvenience! Surprised to see a healthy option in the food court! I had the 425 bowl with pitaya and coconut milk. The toasted coconut shavings on top were the perfect addition! Will be back to try the acai smoothie! read more
