Nothing short of amazing food and great vibes here. The decor and ambiance is amazing and everyone is super friendly here! Amazing food too, everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. The chefs special wagyu beef pho is absolutely amazing. The beef comes out thinly sliced on a separate plate so you can cook it to your preferred rareness. Super melt in your mouth experience! The broth and noodles were also amazing with the broth being light and having a clean taste and the noodles being perfectly solid mouthfeel. Also highly recommend the egg rolls and crab rangoons which I hear are handmade by the restaurants owners. Super crunchy and delicious! The boba drinks are also really good which is a welcome dessert option. The brûlée milk tea and matcha Thai boba are my favorites. Coffee is also really cool here Bc they got the drippy drip things on the cups. Makes for a strong cup! Just gotta make sure to be considerate of other customers Bc they can get pretty busy sometimes, but that's the mark of a tasty quality restaurant! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! It's absolutely amazing. The food is 11/10 the ambiance is excellent vibes only and everyone there is super friendly ! read more

Sip Pho - Interior, Sip Pho Bowl, Eggrolls Tea - Vietnamese Near Me - Austin, Texas

This place is very nice! I went here the first time a little skeptical as I am not a big pho fan. There are signs posted that they are short staffed, but even still, we were greeted very kindly and were handed a menu right away. The staff is super nice and punctual, asking if you have any questions right off the bat. I got the Thai boba tea to start and it was very refreshing and sweet. We started with the spring rolls as well as the crab rangoons, both of which came out hot and crispy. I also got the Banh Mi with pork belly and it was super good. It wasn't greasy at all and all the ingredients were super fresh. The service was super fast and, for what we ordered, it wasn't expensive at all. I definitely do recommend this place as the restaurant is clean and cozy, the staff is very nice and speedy, and the food is excellent. read more

I rounded up on my review because I love the concept and feel of Sip Pho. Sip Pho is a weekend lunch haven for hungover UT students. For me, it's one of the only restaurants in Austin where I can eat pho with my dog on a patio. You really can't go wrong with their pho or bun bo hue which is what I usually get. Their tendon is really tender! The beef rib is beautiful and tasty but it's not fall off the bone. I don't really expect it to be because I really come for broth and noodles, yum! I like to get vietnamese coffee which, of course, is strong. I love how you pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. You never have to flag down a server because they have everything you might need at the little wet bar with extra condiments and toppings. The line can get long but you really shouldn't have to wait more than 30 min. read more

little pricey (but guess its the norm these days) but beef rib pho was so good. I would go back if i had extra money and craving pho!

Very much needed after surviving a night at a musical festival! A bit pricey but well worth it with how much meat is given! The bone is huge! Did not expect it at all! Sooo good. The wagyu was very soft! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Unique Pho place. I had the Sip bowl (Pho). You order at one end and get assigned a table and a person brings you the food, very industrial, just like the deco. The broth was very good. Lots of meat. The obligatory condiments was to standard. Close to UT campus. read more

I recently moved from Chicago to Austin and hnsly Sip has been keeping my soul fed. Their ambiance, order system, veggie/drink bar, and cleanliness is spot on. Most importantly, their beef pho and grilled meats are excellent. If you're in search of authentic pho and/or Asian food, give Sip a shot. Beef broth + rare steak is 5/5 Bahn mi is good; no combination and baguette leans soft. Chicken broth leans a bit boring but only bc their beef broth is bomb. Boba and Vietnamese ice coffee is great. Haven't tried Bun Bo Hue yet read more

Nice hot soup for the sudden cold weather in Austin. Looks like a student run restaurant so be more patient.

Service: 5 stars (the staffs are very friendly. They are attentive and make sure we have enough condiments, napkins, etc) Food: 5 stars (the meats has right temperatures, the rare beef is rare and the tendon is very tender. Broth is great too.) Value: 5 stars (I never seen so many protein for my additional $3 for extra topping before.) The place itself: 5 stars (have nice indoor and outdoor seating. Beautifully done. Cashier told me they do fresh flower arrangement every week.) read more

I love the pho here - it's so delicious and the service is top notch. UT students get a discount here as well!

Where's the meat? What a sad plate of egg rolls. Nothing to wrap the egg rolls, no pickled carrots, no daikon. Straight garbage and a long ass wait for this? Hard pass. read more

OH MY GOODNESS This is MY FAVORITE Pho place. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place. Usually cute and trendy places never live up to the hype/ the quality of the food doesn't match the aesthetics, but man this place is a solid 10/10 all around. I have tried their rice bowls and seafood pho and let me tell you, they do not skimp out on their portion sizes! The seafood pho had plenty of protein inside and was brimming with flavor. The rice bowls probably had enough food to share or take home for another meal. The bowl also came with a little side of soup which I really enjoyed I'm going to be coming back again and again, Sip Pho you've won a customer for life! PS: If you're looking for parking, there is a small lot located behind the restaurant! read more

Best place that I've gone to have pho. I love Pho Please but this somehow tops that. The broth is just so flavorful and I love that you get two sides of meat with the beef broth so I just have double rare steak. The only downside is that there is only one bowl size otherwise I'd get a large hands-down! There's usually seats inside but we did have to sit outside once and the utensils/sauces/paper towels weren't adequately supplied outside so that was a tad weird but definitely great place for pho. The interior is also very cute and aesthetic! read more

Food tastes fresh and it was fulfilling! My soup was very flavorful! Service was nice and friendly. I was in town twice and went there twice. Drinks are very refreshing. There was a fly but I'm ok with a fly as long as it doesn't land on any of my food. read more

I think this may be our pho spot now! The pho broth was PHOnomenal! The brisket was cooked to perfection and meatballs . The only thing I would say was that the noodles were over cooked. Love the open space and they have outdoor seating as well. Will be back to try other dishes read more

I had never had pho and decided to visit sip pho for my first time. The menu is a bit confusing but the employee who took my order explained everything and made ordering very easy. I ordered a chicken broth pho with chicken and added shrimp. This pho is 10/10! After my first time visiting I came back again the following week. The shrimp I added was JUMBO and they are not stingy with portions. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to try pho or wants any good pho in ATX. The place is a bit small but I did not think the wait was long. The first visit I sat outside, they had fans but they weren't turned on which was kind of a bummer. Inside is very clean, the bussers are quick to clear a table for the next person needing to be sat which is amazing. Visit Sip Pho if you are ever in ATX! read more

Every visit here is always amazing. The staff knows the definition customer service and always greet everyone with a warm welcome. The manager is utterly phenomenal and always stops by to chat with us. The pho and baos were exactly what we needed for this cold day. read more

I've seen and had lobster pho and pho with beef rib - all kind of gimmicky where the protein was ok but broth was lacking- flavorless. So when I read reviews of the wagyu pho being the best bowls of Pho they ever had I was highly skeptical. Well...it's the best bowl of Pho I've ever had. The broth was steaming hot and so flavorful - anise and so much bone/pork flavor. The wagyu was given raw on the side, plentiful in portion and so so tender once you drop It in the broth. There was a lot of people eating at 2 there so I think the secret is definitely out. This place has vaulted to the top of my list in restaurants and can't wait to go back and try their Banh mis and vermicelli bowls. And the restaurant is nice/modern/clean while still being causal. Well done guys!! read more

I usually get the boba brulee or the brown sugar milk tea as a drink. My favorite parts are the uniforms of the servers (they all match the decor) and the overall decor of the restaurant. Here with my wife's father and law, and oh my stars, when I tell you this place is a hoot and holla, I absolutely mean it. The short rib and waygu pho are award winning. They should rename this place Chug Pho. In all honesty, they treat you like family and the food is to die for. Also the owner Tien is a treat, and makes sure to take care of you. read more

No point in good food and drinks if you have flies in them. I've been here twice and the first time a fly flew into my moms milk tea and when we told the waitress she just laughed it off. The second time was yesterday. I ordered Togo and my pho had a huge fly in it. So unsanitary! Won't be back! read more

Super excited this opened up so close to campus! The interior is extremely aesthetic and I love the clean, elegant feel of it. The layout of the restaurant is similar to Ramen Tatsuya, you order at the front and get assigned a number somewhere along the long, communal tables. All of the utensils are at the tables in the bins at the tables. Although the interior is primarily white, the neutral wood tones and vaulted ceilings give it a warm, homey feeling. I am a huge fan of their broth! It's very light, which makes it stand out from tradition pho broth. I thought it made the pho unique, but if you are looking for 888 style broth, I probably would not recommend Sip Pho. I got the Beef Pho with Rare Steak and Flank and I really loved it. The portions are also really great. Each bowl comes with a lot of vermicelli and meat. The price is a bit more than if you went to UTea Pho, for example, but I think it's worth it for the taste and you're definitely paying premium for the aesthetic. There is free parking in the private lot! There just aren't a ton of spots, so beware and try to get there when it's not busy. read more

I was brought to town by an academic conference. Stay in a hotel very close to UT campus. Saw this place has great reviews. Had something in hand so arrived at 8:20ish. There's a long line (Thursday night) wait for over twenty minutes. Not because the line was long but the counter person constantly walked away. Finally it's almost my turn the staff said I could only take out. I really wanted to dine in because I took Uber here for a dine-in experience and I wanted to try short rib pho in a clay pot. They suggested sitting outdoor but it's super cold these days. I finally decided to do take out. Short rib pho and boba tea. The boba tea was really just average. The pho soup was superb. But the short rib was too tough to chew. There's a super big chuck of meat that hurt my teeth a lot. Finally I had to throw it away. The staff was quite impatient, or even rude. This is the main reason why I was unhappy. Nobody was at the counter ordering. So it took twenty minutes or so for me to order and when it's my turn I was refused to dine in. If there's constantly someone in charge of ordering I would be able to sit and finish meals very quickly. Moreover when I was about to leave I saw that people were still eating while the staff were piling up the chairs. I took a uber to and from this place while having to take out something with meat that I couldn't chew. Disappointed. read more

Pho is good, not amazing, but the bun Bo hue is best in town I think...authentic bun Bo soup taste!

This place is so good and family run. Their cute daughter has brought me my order both times I've gotten curbside. What I've tried: Beef bahn mi - very good and huge! Eggrolls with pork - really good Wonton soup- amazing!! I wish they had a larger sized option too Pho with rare beef tenderloin and brisket - really good but I felt like it could use more stuff in it. Lots of broth at the end. The proteins were great Rice with lemongrass beef and short ribs- amazing!! Loved it so much Boba tea - Thai iced tea flavor, really good but I wasn't given a straw, so I had to drink it with a spoon to get the boba lol All in all, please is really great and run by very kind people. Please order from here and support local. read more

Let's get this over with, the place is expensive. With that said, this was one of the best pho bowls I've had, and I've had a lot. I make it at home, I eat it when I visit family. I ordered the wagyu pho, and I expected there to be a bunch of wagyu slices on top of the pho. No, that's not how they do it. They gave me a tray with an array of gorgeous slices of wagyu beef, still raw, so that I can dip them one at a time like shabu-shabu. I never knew I needed that in my life until I tried it. read more

This place is very good and I drive from San Antonio all the time for this amazing food. I am a Pho-addict and love their food. Highly recommend every thing. There is nothing I have tried from here and complained about it. Also the cream brûlée drink is very addictive and delicious. The portion for the price is fair.
