I have been to the cafe on numerous occasions. The staff is always very nice and the food and drink is always great!

Such a staple to the city of West Reading. Some may say it's a little pricey... but I think it's worth it. The cafe is such a cute vibe. Coffee is amazing as well as the food!!!

The Park Road Cafe brings an expected taste of Soho or Brooklyn to Reading! The minimal, chic decor clues you in that the food will be "cuisine," rather than the typical "cooking" found in this town. My brunch, The Goat, offered egg, bacon, goat cheese and arugula served on an airy brioche. The portion was just right. I ate it all slowly, savoring every morsel, and left feeling satiated but not bloated. The lemon ginger tea took a long time to brew in the tea pot, but was worth the wait. We hear the coffee drinks are superior, and their impressive cafe equipment supports this supposition. Prices were completely reasonable. We will definitely be visiting whenever we're in town!

I'm so glad I found this spot so close to my home. Ambiance: Very cute and casual cafe. You can come in and set up your laptop for work while enjoying great music and food. You might have a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounds good. Food: I ordered a BLT and added turkey and avocado. It was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and made with love. I will definitely visit this cafe again to enjoy the calm environment and good food.

Delicious drinks and the specials they have are fun. The food is good too, each time I've gone I have enjoyed what I got. Cute little coffee shop vibe inside. Only downside is that it's on the pricey side. Regardless, I definitely recommend this place!

Apparently the cook doesn't know how to read. We ordered two bangin burritos with no beans ($15 each). We were given a buzzer for when the food was ready. The buzzer never went off, instead they yelled my name. Grabbed the burritos, they were cold, cheese wasn't melted whatsoever, and of course...they came with beans. Cook must have thought it said no eggs because there were none. Oh, and the drinks came out after the food. Do not recommend

I'll be honest, I didn't know much about this place going in, but I'm really glad I went and I'll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It's great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It's located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There's a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! The soup flight was a great experience. My…read moredaughter enjoyed the crab corn chowder best. It was a bit too peppery for me to fully enjoy. My favorite was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy and deliciously balanced. The clam chowder tasted like "old soup" as per my daughter's review. It was OK, but did taste like it was canned and therefore we didn't eat more than a few spoonfuls of it. (The crab and lobster soups were gone.) We both thoroughly enjoyed the gator bites. They were well prepared and very tender. My daughter enjoyed stated that she was surprised it reminded her more of chicken than what she had expected. The dipping sauce added a nice touch and was not too peppery or spicy. It was well balanced. The seafood gnocchi was filling and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed it and had enough leftover for another meal the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster roll and ate the whole thing. There was an abundance of fries, which I did not eat. They were good, but did have a bit more of a greasiness than I prefer. The drinks were typical Coke products, which wait staff were attentive to keeping filled. The ambiance is a great place for a casual quality meal with family, friends, work colleagues, or a date. The salt water tank in the "lobby" is always nice to look at. The place is always clean and well maintained. The booths are spacious and you can talk comfortably without being crowded by other patrons. I love this place because the food is always good and the atmosphere is calming with the dim lighting.

The food before was good, new owners have improved the dishes even more. Menu is smaller, but all the important dishes are here. Had the app combo with a pick three, baba ghanoush, cheese rolls and a pepper walnut dip I won't attempt to spell, lol. All were solid, baba was great. They use the same style pita as before in a plastic bag. Wife ordered the kebab sampler, I did the lamb kebab. Kebabs done perfectly, lamb one was really tender and her chicken one was especially flavorful. Served with a decent amount of pilaf and sides to pick from. Don't forget to order the garlic sauce for the Kebabs, killer. Quite a few new desserts to pick from. I had the one with fried bread in a syrup covered with a type of thick cream and pistachios, wife had another that was kind of a custard with some type of shredded wheat on top. Both awesome, big difference.vover the baklava we usually get. Finished off with Turkish coffee (not on menu). The whole experience was great, an owner waited the table, great guy. Baba was so good, had to get a take out order, lol. IMO, the restaurant is better than before.

Passing through town, we stopped for an early dinner. At 4:30 we expected the restaurant to be…read moreempty .... but NOOOOO. The place was jumping. We were happy they could seat us. My husband and I assessed Austin's differently. He ordered prime rib which he said was nothing short of perfect. Cooked medium rare as requested, tender, juicy -- he savored every bite. I scanned the menu. Nothing jumped out at me. (I generally don't gravitate to steakhouse-type restaurants.) I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs. My point of comparison is Longhorn's which offers more of a bang-for-a-buck, and in my opinion better tasting ribs. Not to say that Austin's aren't good. They are. Based on the popularity of Austin's, it's clear management knows what they're doing. But I think a small salad and baked potato should be available with the price of the entree -- not worth the extra $7 I was going to be charged. The salad is listed as 'field greens,' -- which it's not -- but reading the menu you'll see they mean iceberg and romaine. The salad was good, enhanced by their garlic ranch dressing. We washed down our meals with well-priced drinks: merlot ($8.90) and Blue Moon ($6.90), then splurged on dessert. Austin's flourless double chocolate brownie a la mode is very rich. One order for two adults is plenty. Austin's is aptly described as a family restaurant. A lot of kids. A lot of noise. Service is friendly and on-the-ball. While not my kind of restaurant, if prime rib is your thing -- this could be the place!
