My move had a start window of 1:00-3:00, and the movers did not arrive until just before 4:00. My new building required that the move be finished by 5pm, which was did not happen based on this arrival. The move was finished by 6, so if the movers had arrived within the start window, we would have finished on time - they were very efficient. Other than that, the move went smoothly.

It will be many more months before we get a court date for small claims court, and there's no guarantee we'll ever be reimbursed for all of our ruined things. The complete lack of customer care is offensive after paying so much for moving and packing services. There's just no need to be so careless as a business, but apparently it's worth their time to argue for months and years instead of paying for their mistakes. This continues to take up time and space in my life - avoid this for yourself. Avoid Simply Moving.

I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant and was pretty worried about how this would go. They sent three guys who were punctual, professional and exceptionally hard working! One did most of the wrapping and packing while the other two brought the furniture and boxes down and did most of the loading on the truck. At some point while they packed and emptied my apartment I fell asleep on my sofa. The guys were nice enough to pack around me and move everything else until I woke up so they wouldn't disturb me! Really really thoughtful. I've lived in the city for years and have moved a handful of times and none of the previous movers compared to these. You can tell it wasn't their first rodeo. After a few items were wrapped, protected and loaded with care I relaxed and realized they'd do a fantastic job. They packaged things like the TV and larger plants so carefully that not even a single leaf was broken! Crazy but true! Yes, they charge for packaging some stuff in boxes but it was very fair and discussed ahead of time. I didn't have issues with the estimate being low and final price being higher as I read in other reviews. The estimate they gave me was pretty spot on. I was given a range depending on how many boxes they had to pack and it was on the lower end of the range. The only issue I had was that the truck got a ticket and the company called and asked to split it. I didn't like that because it's pretty standard that all delivery and loading trucks get ticketed in the city. I've never heard of the customer sharing that. They didn't press the issue tho so in the end it was fine. I gave them 5 stars because the service was hands down the best I've had and will definitely use them again! I highly recommend them-

We had a three man crew, and one man seemed to be very confused about where to go and what to do at all times. I have moved twice in the city before and both times have been way faster and efficient. My partner and I ended up helping unload the truck and boxes ourselves just to keep them moving along. I also had to supply them my own blanket to wrap a computer monitor in because they did not know how to pack it. In addition, I found that the extra costs were a bit much. We were charged a driving time of 30 mins to get to the first location even though the apartment was a 10 minute drive from the warehouse. We were also told we would get a $60 "box credit" which helped cover TV boxes on the day of the move, but then we got charged an additional $100 for other materials used (blankets, tape, wrap, etc.) Normally moving companies do not charge you for tape. They got our belongings from point A to point B, and nothing was majorly damaged. However, I am not sure we would use this moving company again.

I am glad that this experience was far different and far superior. Key highlights 1. Fair and Transparent pricing - I had clarity on what I wanted to move. The team led by Luke was able to provide me pricing and I was able to edit my inventory till the day of my move to change the pricing accordingly. On the day of move I did realize there was one additional box and few items (not high volume). Team accommodated it without charging me extra 2. Great team who handled loading and unloading - the team that came to pick my stuff was very efficient. Packed all my stuff very well and did the job fairly quick. Just to give you an estimate to move a 2 bedroom house, last time my movers took 8-10 hours, this time it was done in around 2. I missed on handing over one item in the inventory - the team was able to accommodate that in the next day. The team that unloaded the items very were efficient as well 3. Items reached with minimal wear and tear 4. Tracking was super efficient, I was constantly aware when my item would reach. I was also able to request for delayed delivery after it had left the warehouse. 5. Great followups and customer service - any followup questions I had were promptly answered. There quick checkins and followups by the team at critical points to make the process smooth. 6. Haggle free engagement - the team is not pushy on sales. Talking to them was a very pleasant experience. If you like me have done this multiple times you know how difficult it gets. The quote at times might look higher than some other offers, but it will be eventually less than what some other people might charge at door when you are left with no option. The entire process here was with full peace of mind. I will definitely recommend this to my friends who need similar service. If you have other questions about my experience (and in comparison to my previous, please ask - I will be happy to respond) Great job folks.
