He was professional, knowledgeable, and talked me through everything he was doing. He eventually figured out the problem, which was far from obvious, and looked into repairs (which wasn't possible because of the age). We really appreciated how quickly Ben arrived and the time he took to figure out what was wrong. Speedy Appliance will be our first call next time we have an issue!

The technicians have always arrived within the given time frame, been courteous and swift, and quite knowledgeable about the parts that either his Sub-Zero fridges or Viking cooktops needed. There was one instance when a tech did arrive late... But he apologized profusely and explained that they are currently under-staffed. I give them 5 stars because this is clearly a small business that has been up and running since 1978, and I truly do have a soft spot in my heart for small businesses. I watch Shark Tank religiously and really do believe that it is through the economies of small businesses that bridge the gap between the middle class and the 1%. As such, I encourage my bf to continue to use them, as he owns a small business himself with his rental properties. Anyways, I've never had a problem using these guys. They've always been courteous and pleasant with me - especially Harold. He's been great in terms of customer service and product knowledge. (I've studied Marketing so I pay attention to these things.) Apparently these guys are one of the only factory authorized repair services for Viking appliances in the area, which is great because all my bf installs are Viking stoves. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

We bought a washer from Allstate a few months ago for one of our rental units. Our tenants have…read morebeen delighted with it. It was an unusual model because we needed a small, compact unit but one that was more powerful than the usual apartment sized washer. My washer in my other unit just died and I contacted Allstate to send a technician out. They were pleasant, helpful and quick to get me the help I needed. I would recommend Allstate for both purchases and repairs.

Went to this location as advertised, they sell used appliances. All the doors were locked,…read moreeventhough again, they advertise that they open at 10:30am, and its 11am. I called and whomever answered informed me that they do not sell used appliances, only new. Once again, used is advertised on their billboard, their trucks, and their website. Then the person on the phone goes on to tell me that used appliances are hard to find, and that no one hardly sells used...obviously, in an attempt to buy their "new" appliance. Even if i was looking for a new appliance, I wouldn't buy here because their dishonesty is again...obvious!

I don't understand some of the reviews below. First and foremost, if you don't ask what the charge…read moreis prior to going out, that's your fault for assuming they go out for free. Secondly, if they tell you their minimum charge is $129 to go out and diagnose and $35 for each additional appliance, how can you give them a 1 star rating for CHARGING YOU WHAT THEY QUOTED, simply because you don't agree with the charge!!?! They have always been very upfront with me. $129 is the minimum labor for any job they do which is then applied towards the total repair job. Their charges are flat rate, similar to if you take your car to a repair shop. They have rates for how much a belt replacement will be, a starter, etc. They have never made me believe the $129 would be deducted from a new appliance if my old appliance was not worth fixing. If I know for a fact what part is broken, they will gladly tell me what the cost will be to complete the job if I ask. With Bettar, you are dealing with a small "mom and pop" shop. They stand behind their warranties, and they are very quick to do so. Because superb service isn't free, you pay for it, however with Bettar, the honest service you receive is worth the cost.

After some gentle coaxing, I was able to elicit an opinion from him about whether it worth repairing the stove or buying a new one. The mark of an honest repairman- "Replace it" he told me, as the parts and labor would be more than buying a new stove. (We're talking about a special-order stove, not the typical GE or Whirlpool.) I ABSOLUTELY will call Peaco again. Also love that they work very long hours, not the usual 7AM-4PM like the other appliance repair places.
