We went for a Mothers Day dinner. When we arrived for our reservation we were greeted by the hostess and guided towards the martini bar as our whole party had not arrived yet. The two martinis we had at the bar were delicious, the Pistachio martini and watermelon martini. The bartender was super friendly and his mixing moves were on point. Once our party was complete we were taken to our table. The restaurant itself is in an old house so there are tables in different rooms. Our waitress Annabelle was knowledgeable and friendly. She took our drink order while they placed warm bread and butter on the table. IMO, the bread was denser than normal but not bad. Drinks arrived and the order was placed. For appetizers we ordered a beef carpaccio salad (picture not taken), lentil soup and mozzarella in carrozza. They were definitely shareable. For dinner, we had the branzino mediterráneo, chicken parmigiana, pappardelle bolognese, penne alla vodka, linguine alle vongole. The branzino was lacking an accompaniment, the sauce was delicious, would have loved to have a bed of pasta to eat it with. There were no complaints or leftovers for the linguine. TBH, the chicken parm, pappardelle and penne could've benefitted from a touch of salt but they did put fresh grated Parmesan cheese on the table that helped. Dessert time came and we ordered cannolis (they have mini and regular sized), amaretto cake and chocolate cake. The cannolis were delicious, amaretto cake was enjoyable and the chocolate was chocolatey but a little dry. Overall we were there for 3 hours and left full. Would def return for the martini bar, and might give the restaurant another try. read more

If I could give less, I would but I wanted to write this to warn people not to waste their hard earned money. Five of us for dinner. First time there. One solo diner in the entire restaurant. It should have been a warning. We chose a variety of appetizers and entrees so we could share the tastes. Pricey menu but we indulged. First, five tiny pieces of bread for five people. One tab of butter for the table. We could have asked for more but we didn't want to fill up on bread. It was good, crisp bread. We ordered five appetizers to share. We left almost every appetizer after a small taste since all five, except the Caesar salad, were inedible. Four entrees came out although we ordered five and we waited to start until the fifth showed up. After fifteen minutes we gave up and started eating. Seafood risotto tasted like crunchy grains in smelly salt water. The seafood tasted old and was not fresh. The shrimps were overcooked and rubbery. The mussels had a green tint to them and no one would go near them. We left it completely. My filet mignon was very tough and hard to cut with the steak knife they gave me. Asparagus had the hard ends on them. The chicken parmigiana was edible but soupy with overcooked pasta. A strange Fico chicken dish that was well described on the menu and sounded good but turned out to be bland and boring in a soupy mess of gravy. We left it. The drinks were good so thank goodness for that since it took us 2 1/2 hours to be served our dinner. We paid our bill, left a tip and will never go back. And neither should you. read more

We went there with a large party after my son's wedding. It was our first time there and it was really good. We would return in a heartbeat. On the look out for some food in the Vernon/ Warwick area we tried Silvios today. We passed this restaurant many times and always said lets try it... We came as early birds 3.30pm after naptime for our 2year old. We where greated friendly and seated in a nicely decorated room ( its still holiday season :)) our waiter was really nice too. The Kids had meatballs and spaghetti as well as chicken fingers and fries. The meat where loved by our 2year old and the sauce by our 5 year old. Chicken fingers are not homemade but consistent and where eaten all. My wife and I started with fried calamari which we thought was good and than we continue with Chicken Fico and Parpadelle Bolognese both entrees where really tasty. This place has a nice backyard for the summer and the inside is really comfy. It is more on the $$$$ side but worth it. We will recommend and be back. Thank you for the great hospitality read more

Came in for a very early dinner with a party of 4 on a Sunday. Ambiance looks just like an old house and I read that this place is haunted which is pretty creepy. Maybe a good place to visit on Halloween. Anyway the service was great. Our server was super nice and accommodating. He went out of his way to customize one of the dishes for someone in my party. The food was just ok/good. I had the penne vodka with chopped lobster. It did have big chunks of lobster in it which was nice. The sauce was decent but really greasy. My boyfriend had the chicken parm which was good. Could have used some more tomato sauce on it. The other two people didn't really like their dishes. Overall I thought it was average. I have been here a few times and I find their food really good. The atmosphere is nice inside and outside. I found the service to be great each time as well. I ordered the pomegranite martini and it was delicious. I have had the fried mozzarella and the fried calamari (better with red sauce not teriyaki sauce). They were good. For dinner I have had the sesame encrusted tuna and that was delicious. I have had the veal delicato and that was great. There are 3 great Italian restaurants in this general area that I love and this is one of them. I highly recommend going here for a nice fine meal. There is plenty of parking but the sign to the place seems small so do not drive too fast and keep your eyes open coming from warwick. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. read more

Truth be told, I was glad for that because the interior of this place is kind of dingy and rumor has it that there are ghosts abound. I don't do paranormal activity, so no thank you! APPETIZERS: - Baked clams - breadcrumbs could have been a little more toasted but the clams were cooked nicely. - Stuffed mushrooms - these were damn good ...blanket of fresh mozzarella on top...yumtastic. ENTREES: - Chicken parmesan - my first though was, "How boring...Zzz..." but he made a really good choice. The chicken was pounded thin and had just the right amount of well-seasoned breading. - Penne with eggplant, tomato, and fresh basil - the penne was cooked perfectly....I love a little bite to my pasta. The eggplant would have been better if it were in chunks instead of thin pieces, but again, the flavor was there. Waitstaff was on-the-mark and very friendly. Overpriced and mediocre food, in my experience. The $26 chicken marsala was one medium sized chicken breast on top of spaghetti with a very thin, flavorless marsala sauce and chewy chicken. Lots of spaghetti. Very little chicken. Have had the chicken parm in the past, and similarly, the sauce tastes thin and unremarkable. I ordered the pasta bolognese in the past via takeout, and it tasted like it was made the day prior and heated up. Similarly, thin and flavorless sauce. The $10 for a very small piece of tiramisu is also quite pricey for the portion, despite being pretty good. The chicken marsala dish was especially disappointing. Easily the most bland version of the dish I've ever had. Small portion sizes for the price, and quite bland sauces, make this generally not worth it beyond the ambience. Several local establishments serve dishes with similar portions and higher quality for a portion of the price. read more

My food was fine. But the service was far from good. Very slow. Only one "waiter" with two tables. Things left on the table for extended periods of time, quickly passing our table to the other. The worst part was the room was very cold. Had my coat on the whole time. The fireplaces are quaint, but insufficient for heating. The meatballs were cold too. Silvios what is going on? It's the year 2020 and we're all working through a pandemic. I realize times are tough but the experience I encountered was the epitome of a lack of professionalism and blatant disregard for customer service from management. I ordered on seamless, owned by grubhub, and when I showed up I was told that my order was not received and that they don't even have a seamless account. The manager informed me that she checked the system for orders and incessantly repeated that she doesn't know anything and what did I want her to do. I told her that I would call seamless and get to the bottom of it. Sure enough they did in fact have an account and 100% the order was in their system. I go back in and a beverage was offered gratis (yes I tipped the bartender cash) so I indulged outside and the manager approached me again. She literally came for me saying that I should have told her about my order when I arrived. Again I showed her my paid for order on my phone and she then backtracked and said that I told her the order was on zipline or some nonsense. She then informs me that she put an extra tiramisu in the bag for me and not my customer. literally flabbergasted, because she thought I was a delivery driver, I informed her that I was in fact her customer and the only persons I was delivering for was my fiance and my daughter who had been waiting an hour and a half for their dinner. Continuing on her rant she asked why I didn't call to place the order. AGAIN it's 2020 and we have websites like seamless to (ideally) erase the headache of calling and ordering. PLUS my fiance is a doctorate student and was on a zoom class. I continued overly informing the manager that I was trying to be a nice guy and order my family Italian quietly online so that she could continue to do her class while getting the food that she wanted. The meal was $85 with tip and even after the manager acknowledged that they screwed up my order, literally doubling my wait time, she adds a tiramisu, labels me a delivery driver, and doesn't even give me a discount as a gesture of remorse for ruining my family dinner. Utterly ridiculous management and customer service. Such a disappointment because we are new to the area and were wholeheartedly looking for a new go to Italian spot. We will never go back to this establishment and it's so unfortunate because this is a clear example of management stunting the wellbeing of the service staff. Regarding the food, MEH.... and the tiramisu was terrible. I've worked in two Italian restaurants in Manhattan as a pastry chef so when I say it's terrible you should believe me... one layer of lady fingers overly soaked so it was either OLD or the person putting it together didn't comprehend the texture and consistency true tiramisu should encompass. I don't understand how people enjoy the food here... maybe I'd have to go back a few times and roll the dice to maybe get a decent meal but it's not worth the money/gamble/waste of time. As a party of three we dined at Silvio's recently. We were there for 1/2 hr before a waiter came to the table. We waited for our drinks as they appeared to be short staffed. We finally placed our orders. Supposedly known for their veg dishes, I ordered fish w/ roasted pot & veggies, the potatoes were mushy, veggies overdone. My husband couldn't finish his raviolis, in a tasteless sauce. Our friend also left his fish half eaten. We won't be back at those prices. Oh btw, the decor is charming. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant with quality food and beautiful atmosphere. We have been going here for 15 years, we then moved to SC and have never found comparable food quality. we ordered mr beast burger through this restaurant. first time we ordered we got two combos, so we should have received two burgers, two fries and two drinks... but they forgot a burger. door dash resolved the problem. second time ordering, we got all the items, but one of the burgers was missing one main thing... the patty! none of the burgers has the good mr beast burger buns either, they were some gross rolls. called to see what is going on and how they messed up both times, and valentina couldnt even apologize. instead she blamed the driver (even though it was different drivers both times). never ordering from this place again. i miss when mr beast burger came from a resturant in vernon! read more

Great food and service in a serene and romantic space. We discovered Silvio's while looking for safe outdoor dining this summer and have returned on many occasions since. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely patio with outdoor seating spaced safely apart. We even intend to dine indoors once the weather prevents outdoor dining since the indoor tables are spaced a safe distance as well. The restaurant is a well maintained 1700's building with a great romantic setting, as is the outdoor patio with a fireplace and beautiful gardens surrounding the restaurant and patio. The menu has nice selections and the the food and service have been excellent. This has become out new go to place. Highly recommend a visit!!! read more

So let me saw the food was really good. Service was slow but it was a busy Saturday night and there seemed to be a large party there. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our apps. The waitress seemed really new and inexperienced; any questions about the dishes or drinks required her to go and check. If she said she was new we would have understood. Dirty dishes and empty glasses were not removed promptly so we put them on an empty table next to us. The hostess or maybe she's even the owner is very abrupt and shouldn't have a job dealing with people. Again the food was very good so we may try one more time. read more

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Pina and the team for running a great wedding rehearsal dinner for my group! We had the entire martini bar area, which was great because it was a private room in the back with a decently sized dance floor and open bar. I was able to drop by unannounced earlier in the day to help set up for the rehearsal dinner, and the bar and catering menu was very very reasonably priced. We had thought this would be a buffet, but this was a plated 4 course dinner! Originally I was wondering why the dinner was taking such a long time to come out (there was a pretty big gap between the pasta course and the main course), but we quickly realized that they cooked every entree individually - many people complimented the chicken picante (a very difficult course to get right for a large group of people, and nice and moist rather than dry). The salad, dessert, and entrees were all great, the only course that didn't wow us was the pasta course which was slightly bland. Pina was so helpful throughout the night when I was trying to run the rehearsal. There was also a kid's menu which they were all a fan of! We also walked around the rest of the villa, which is very, very beautiful, including the outside area. This is a great, affordable, and beautiful option for a group dinner. I will return for an individual dinner next time I am in the area. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Ordered through DoorDash, they were great. The food?! OMG. NO. Don't order the Alfredo unless you want a bowl of milk with overcooked pasta in it. No cheese, no spices, just cream or milk. To top it off, asked for broccoli and chicken in it- chicken was rubbery and a whole 3 pieces of broccoli. I ordered a Diet Coke. They sent me a regular. Just nasty food and careless. DO NOT TRY THE ALFREDO! I know I will never try anything from there again, actually. Glad to be new in town and find out early.
