Ordered them a plate of penne with meatballs (requested the penne soft for toddlers), garlic knots and a large cheese pie. As always, pizza was excellent! Garlic knots were so good and not tough at all! They also had a generous coating of garlic/cheese etc! Most places skimp on the oily flavored topping mixture but they did not! The pasta was cooked exactly as requested for the kids and the meatballs were the perfect texture! The sauce was excellent (also a good amount not too little or too much) but it did have a hint of sweet which I'm personally not a fan of but for those who are, it's very good! have eaten there before a handful of times just for slices but this time came in with my kids and immediately upon entering with them and my boyfriend, I asked where to sit. The woman who seemed older in age was automatically assuming that we were too poor to get anything else besides slices and tried sitting us in the back and she said I'd prefer you to sit back here away from the front then after her route assumption, I asked her if she could plug my cell phone in to pay for the bill after we ate and I had told them we were going to get two pies and she said there was no place for it to charge so we promptly left very rude. I've driven by this place numerous times and finally decided to stop for an early dinner. The calamari was delicious, though I might suggest cooking it a bit longer for that perfect crispiness. I'll definitely be ordering it again. The salmon was fantastic, with a generous portion and extra shrimp, which was a nice touch. The penne with chicken was also spot on, bursting with flavor. Hadn't been here for a while but Benito's was not answering their phone so I decided to place a to go order for an eggplant parmigiana and a meatball parmigiana sandwich. Got it home and instead of meatball it was veal. My wife won't eat veal so it was a waste. My husband and I decided to try Luca's today after going for Bagels may times next store. We were greeted when we walked in and sat down. We ordered our food. Apps we tried the Rice balls with sauce and Buffalo Shrimp. The Rice balls were fantastic!! Was very happy!! Tasted like my grandma's. The Buffalo shrimp was ok. Probably wouldn't get again. Main meals were a small Stromboli that was huge! I can't imagine how big the large is and a 12 inch personal pie with sausage, peppers & onion. My husband enjoyed his Stromboli. However my pizza was a little under cooked in middle and was wet. Not quite as much sauce as I like. The crust was good and the sauce I cook taste near the crust was good. Stopped here with my friends this past weekend, after we spent a few hours Apple picking at a nearby orchard, to have lunch. There was 6 of us plus 2 small kids. The staff was nice and accommodated us quickly. When we got there around 4 the restaurant was pretty empty but by 6 it was completely full. Everyone ordered various pasta dishes, there was even a small pizza. Everyone enjoyed their food and everyone took home leftovers. Really don't know if it's possible to eat everything in one sitting. Then we spilt a New York style cheesecake that's made in-house. We did notice when the restaurant started to get crowded that everyone had a bottle of wine on their table but we didn't recall seeing wine on the menu. We later realized that people went to the liquor store that was two doors down for wine then brought it to the restaurant to enjoy with their meal. read more

Just super disorganized - everything (up to paying the bill) took way too long (in here for 1.5 hours) - and food was mediocre. As someone else said - something's really off with their food. Immediately with the bread and calamari; it tastes like store bought or stuff you buy at a carnival. Even the lemonade/soda tasted cheap Our waitress seemed really disorganized. We waited over half hour for our two pasta entrees and this was only because we asked. The linguini with mussels tasted like butter noodles and the mussels weren't fresh. I will give them some kudos for decorating the inside nice and the food presentation looked great, but everything just tasted off. Then we had some sticker shock of our bill in the end. Second time ordering from Luca's for takeout and probably my last. Located in a a small strip mall in Warwick next door to Shoprite, this quaint Italian restaurant is conveniently situated across the street from the bowling alley and right down the road from the Warwick drive in movie theater. Service is prompt, friend and I really wanted to give this local pizzeria a better rating, however this is the second time that they've messed up my order. I ordered two sandwiches, both on very tough pieces of bread. The one order I received correctly was the chicken filet which was tasty. However, my second sandwich was supposed to be a chicken parm and instead they gave me an eggplant parm. I don't mind eggplant but this was my husband's order and he wasn't happy at all. Being the wonderful wife that I am :) I switched sandwiches with him, hoping to try something new while opting for a healthier option. Unfortunately, this was not the case- the eggplant parm was soggy and did not have much taste at all. The sauce was traditional and helped with the lack of taste, but was not nearly enough for a sandwich of that size. This place was AWESOME. The food was delicious, the service was great and the location was perfect. We came here after visiting the orchards up the mountain side. I felt a little out of place at first. And they were really rushing us to get to our table and to start ordering. I thought they wanted to us to leave, turns out they just move quickly to provide great service. A personal pizza cost about $10 but could feed two adults easily or for children. All entrees were you huge in size. I ordered a pepperoni stromboli and it was bigger than the plate it was so big that 1/2 and was full I bought the other half home for lunch the next day. She tried to sell us on the cheesecake which was Fluffy and it tasted good but it's no comparison to Cheesecake I've had and the City. read more

At first, we were worried that the place had no seating, but we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean the restaurant is and not terribly crowded. The food itself is very good but gluten free eaters beware of the online menu! If you order off the gluten free menu online the button for gluten free bread does not mean you will get bread that is gluten free with your meal, it means that your meal will be made gluten free. I just learned this lesson the hard way when bread came with other meals and I ate it thinking it was gluten free. I implore the owners to change that description on the website to prevent others from having an issue! read more

My family and friends visited this pizzeria after a round of apple picking. Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted and seated. They had a big menu selection which was surprising to me because I just assumed they only served pizza. However, they had a full dining menu or Italian selections of pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Our waitress informed us all dishes are made to order so that we would have an idea that our order will take time and offered to place the children's order first so that they won't have to wait as long. Our table ordered a personal pizza, fried calamari, a Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana, a calzone, lasagna and pasta pesto. The pizza was quick and looked fresh and delicious. The calamari were cooked well but needed a bit of seasoning; only real flavor it had was from the marinara sauce. I myself had the chicken parmigiana and it was such a huge portion that I had to take the rest home. The breaded chicken breast was pounded and tenderized, which made it very moist. And of course covered in pasta sauce and mozzarella - it was so good. The noodles were in a bowl to the side. After we ate our food the waitress lured us into trying a dessert, a thick slice of cheesecake we all split. It was no Juniors but it was tasty and light. Went in today for lunch with my family. Party of 8. There was only one other group there at another table. Not very busy at all. We will absolutely NOT return. The service was horrible. Very rudely we were seated in the back dining room as if we were putting the waitress out. Waited for way too long to get waters or to order appetizers. There was only one other table of patrons. The old lady, I mean "waitress" finally came around and rushed us as we placed our orders and very rudely told us to be patient because she's the only server there. How is that our problem? Don't even bother with this one, the most disorganized front of the house ever. Walked in ask how long is the wait. The cashier said 30 minutes. Fine, take my name for two. What's the name? Pasquale, I said. Okay, I put you down she replied. Over an hour later with a packed bunch of people waiting for tables, people finally started to be seated, except my wife and me. When I inquired why? what appeared to be the hostee said I don't have your name down.
