Mediocre experience. I've came here a few times, the food was never necessarily bad or sickening, just not up to my personal preference. The staff team has been very welcoming every time I've came, and the service has never been an issue for me. As for the ambience & interior, it's a classic pizzeria, yet the arrangement & decor wasn't anything special. Which also wasn't necessarily my primary reason for leaving three stars regardless. What better food for a snowy day than pizza!! This was our first time ever picking up pizza from Benito's and the rumors were true...This pizza is delicious !! From The only downside is that they don't deliver or accepts credit cards ; however definitely worth running to ATM and picking up the pizza. We will order from here again and try different items on their menu. If you are in Warwick, this is definitely one of The best pizzas in the area. read more

The waitress is friendly but the service is sloooooooow. There were only two other tables plus our table of 4 and we waited over an hour for our food that we had to take it to go. This place has been there since i can remember, and it has not changed. Same menu and not so good food. My kids like to make there own pizza, i usually go to Rookies, Florida, or Paesano's in Vernon, both charge the same amount for just dough. Rookies was closed so i shopped local and went to Benito's in Warwick. Same dough size, and $2.oo more than both places .. can't comment on the dough till we use it ,,,but it must be made of gold.. Food was ok, portions were small. Waitress was nice, but staff behind the counter was very rude. NO CREDIT CARDS AT ALL. When I mentioned they needed signs that stated that the staff pointed to a very small FADED sign in the front room that said no cards. Which is impossible to read when we were rushed into the back room to sit because we came in with a larger party, not signs in the back room stated this. I had my very second anchovy pizza here recently. Second because when I was a kid I was curious and wanted to try it and of course hated it because I'd never had anchovies before; however, I started using anchovies in my cooking more for pastas and such as I've grown and grew a taste for them and I really wanted to try it. It was good and the guy was super nice and told me I was a dying breed, hehe. Just walked into this place and it looks filthy. They don't appear to be busy, so why nit take the time to do some cleaning. The garbage can outside has garbage on the floor all around it. All I have to say is wow. Me and my boyfriend, named Renito (I know crazy right), were on our long quest of touring the 50 states by car and searching for the best pizza. Yes, by car, and if confused on how we got to Hawaii by car, look no further than a slice of Benitos pizza for the same fantasy and exhilaration. The explosion of flavor that comes with each bite caused us to travel to a new culinary dimension. Not to mention Benito himself, was as personable as one can come. He knows the risk of putting out such an addictive slice of pizza, but he takes that risk every day with a smile. I mean gosh, we need more Benitos. I love pizza. I think that Warwick has some great options -- Frank's, Luca Trattoria -- and some solid options -- Franico's, Fratello, JonAngelo's (when it was still in business), even the Harvest Restaurant. I've also had some of the best pizza around NYC (New Park, Spumoni Gardens, etc.). Everyone has their own tastes and opinions, but I found nothing redeeming about the pizza at Benito's. I can easily put away four slices of a decent pizza. I couldn't eat more than half a slice of this. This was about four years ago; I haven't bothered to try it again. read more

Decided to order a pie while visiting family. Had found this place on google and called in for a large onion and mushroom pizza. I picked up the pie to find out that they only take cash. No where on their website did it say that( probably don't want to lose customers, because I wouldn't have ordered from them if I knew). They had an ATM, which takes several fees out without always getting authorization( which took up more of my time because I had to call my bank to let them no I didn't authorize all those fees). So already, before even eating this pizza I'm feeling like it wasn't worth it. I get back to the house and have a slice and it was awful! The mushrooms were not fresh but obviously canned. The pizza was so salty that I couldn't even stomach it. I wouldn't recommend this place to people I hate. For the price I paid for the pizza, I expect fresh ingredients and pleasant taste, but that wasn't something this place was capable of. read more

This place is near our house so it's super convenient. Love their new giant pizzas when I have a house full of teens. I thought for sure such a large pie wouldn't be cooked evenly or taste great, but it is almost better than their regular ones. Their service has always been wonderful. read more

A celiac friend of mine recommended that they had gluten-free pasta & pizza here, but the experience was disappointing. The combination of awful premade crust (which tastes like apple cider vinegar) and cheap cheese (which tastes like rubber) combined with meager toppings to make a frustratingly tiny (maybe a thin 6-inches?) and unsatisfying pizza which will cost you more than $11. The regular pizza (I've been told) is salty and mediocre, but at least you get a decent portion. Pay the $3.50 for a bob's mix, buy some sauce/cheese/toppings, and make two HUGE tasty home-made pizzas the way you like them (and actually have leftovers!) You'll be happy you did. read more

My husband and I just picked up two heroes. The sausage was not only uncooked but not cut up and really disgusting just thrown on the bread with hard uncooked peppers. Call me spoiled because I live in NYC and literally have access to the best pizzerias that exist, both regular pizzerias and good old fashioned spots like Grimaldi's where you have to wait an average 45min-1hr. Like i stated in previous reviews, I used to live in Warwick and in all fairness I don't really like any pizza joint in the area (sorry J&J, and Franks) . I mean I don't even think this place is decent AND on top of that you don't take debit cards??! Joints like this just get me mad, bring your establishment into 2015 and upgrade to take cards! Conveniently there is a machine right there to take cash from...real coincidence right? Anyway, if you are a pizza lover like myself or have standards for pizza don't waste your time, if you are from out of town and find other spots nearby to dine. Main street aka "town" is about 6min away with other options. With this being said, I suppose living in a small town there aren't that many options besides this place and two other spots which aren't on their A-game either. Warwick needs a LEGIT pizza spot and I'm sure they would thrive. I rather get D'gorono from ShopRite frozen section but that's just me. read more

I go into the City all the time, and yes, there is good pizza there too, but..... Benito's is right around the corner, and it may be the best! So what about the cash only!! They have a cash machine! I eat here two to three times a week it is so good. Try Silvio's specials. The tilapia is out of this world, and don't get in front of our family getting their eggplant parmesan... you will be mowed down in their rush. If you are having a party, try one of the platters.
