I had my very second anchovy pizza here recently. Second because when I was a kid I was curious and wanted to try it and of course hated it because I'd never had anchovies before; however, I started using anchovies in my cooking more for pastas and such as I've grown and grew a taste for them and I really wanted to try it. It was good and the guy was super nice and told me I was a dying breed, hehe. Of course, I've had other toppings here over the years and it's very good, the only reason I don't eat here more often is because I don't often eat pizza and also because they only take cash and I rarely have cash on me and while they have an ATM I don't want to pay the fees. read more

I came here with my daughter and had the pizza, which was great. However, I ordered a 3-foot hero for my Christmas party. While the price was good, the amount of filling on the sandwich was disappointing. I would not order another sandwich from this place. read more

Mediocre experience. I've came here a few times, the food was never necessarily bad or sickening, just not up to my personal preference. The staff team has been very welcoming every time I've came, and the service has never been an issue for me. As for the ambience & interior, it's a classic pizzeria, yet the arrangement & decor wasn't anything special. Which also wasn't necessarily my primary reason for leaving three stars regardless. It's a normal pizzeria. I'd visit again, yet I wouldn't say it would ever be my first option. Not bad, I'm sure there's better. read more

Came back again and everything was just as good. It's cash only and their atm was down so we went to a diff place to take out cash. read more

Benitos Pizzeria & Restaurant - Veggie supreme and the works - Pizza Near Me - Warwick, New York

What better food for a snowy day than pizza!! This was our first time ever picking up pizza from Benito's and the rumors were true...This pizza is delicious !! From The only downside is that they don't deliver or accepts credit cards ; however definitely worth running to ATM and picking up the pizza. We will order from here again and try different items on their menu. If you are in Warwick, this is definitely one of The best pizzas in the area. read more

Came back like I said to get the pizza that I fell in love with, thin crust pepperoni yum. Staff was great place is cute, next time I will dine in and my pie came fast n ready for me to demolish. Try it read more

The waitress is friendly but the service is sloooooooow. There were only two other tables plus our table of 4 and we waited over an hour for our food that we had to take it to go. Won't be coming back here. If you have time to kill then this is your place. PS: Also, the portions are smaller than expected and it's a cash business only. read more

Benito's is the best ! Love the pizza, best in the area. Staff is very nice, great soups too.

This place has been there since i can remember, and it has not changed. Same menu and not so good food. My kids like to make there own pizza, i usually go to Rookies, Florida, or Paesano's in Vernon, both charge the same amount for just dough. Rookies was closed so i shopped local and went to Benito's in Warwick. Same dough size, and $2.oo more than both places .. can't comment on the dough till we use it ,,,but it must be made of gold.. ALSO how so they get away with CASH only! does the state know about this read more

great lunch. Great homemade meatballs.the crab meat stuffed mushrooms were amazing. Our server was very kind and great with helping us decide what to order. Clean and comfortable. Will continue to eat here and also take home . read more

Hidden Gem. Classic Italian home style place. Food is awesome and service also great. Glad I find this place. Only draw back is cash only.

Food was ok, portions were small. Waitress was nice, but staff behind the counter was very rude. NO CREDIT CARDS AT ALL. When I mentioned they needed signs that stated that the staff pointed to a very small FADED sign in the front room that said no cards. Which is impossible to read when we were rushed into the back room to sit because we came in with a larger party, not signs in the back room stated this. It's 2023 cards should be accepted everywhere...... read more

Just walked into this place and it looks filthy. They don't appear to be busy, so why nit take the time to do some cleaning. The garbage can outside has garbage on the floor all around it. The doors and the fixtures need cleaning. The floors need cleaning. The place looks old and decrepit. I turned around and walked out. Yuck read more

All I have to say is wow. Me and my boyfriend, named Renito (I know crazy right), were on our long quest of touring the 50 states by car and searching for the best pizza. Yes, by car, and if confused on how we got to Hawaii by car, look no further than a slice of Benitos pizza for the same fantasy and exhilaration. The explosion of flavor that comes with each bite caused us to travel to a new culinary dimension. Not to mention Benito himself, was as personable as one can come. He knows the risk of putting out such an addictive slice of pizza, but he takes that risk every day with a smile. I mean gosh, we need more Benitos. All in all, we have finally found the best pizza in America. God bless Benito, and god bless pizza. Amen. read more

Fantastic pizza! Service is always polite and outstanding. Never had a bad thing from this place

Stopped in yesterday for a quick slice. It had been a long morning with nothing to eat. Their Sicilian slice was delicious. One of the best ever. Perfect crust. Ill be back whenever Im in the area. read more

Honestly, for my money, best pizza around. Nothing fancy just good eats! My family has been going there for years and they're all very friendly. I've even had them cater two parties we've had. I try not to leave Warwick without getting a couple slices and some garlic knots. And yes, cash only. read more

My favorite pizzeria in Warwick. Consistently excellent pizza, pasta fagioli and salad. Salad could be a bit larger. Wine is good. Service is great. read more

Well we all like to support local business but we've had some hits and misses. I wouldn't stray far from a plain cheese pie. The toppings were a disappointment. Canned mushrooms? I'm assuming as such because the pizza was a salty disaster. They don't deliver and only take cash. Just a reminder: it's 2018. read more

I used to work in Warwick and used to bring my clients for lunch here. They're pizza is great!! Staff is super nice too! I believe it is cash only though. read more

Love this place! Best pizza in the area hands down. Try the lasagna too - a favorite!

I love this pizza. Best pizza I have had so far! And it's definitely the best pizza in Warwick. Cash only is a little archaic but it's a little charming. The guy who makes the pizzas is really sweet. read more

Decided to order a pie while visiting family. Had found this place on google and called in for a large onion and mushroom pizza. I picked up the pie to find out that they only take cash. No where on their website did it say that( probably don't want to lose customers, because I wouldn't have ordered from them if I knew). They had an ATM, which takes several fees out without always getting authorization( which took up more of my time because I had to call my bank to let them no I didn't authorize all those fees). So already, before even eating this pizza I'm feeling like it wasn't worth it. I get back to the house and have a slice and it was awful! The mushrooms were not fresh but obviously canned. The pizza was so salty that I couldn't even stomach it. I wouldn't recommend this place to people I hate. For the price I paid for the pizza, I expect fresh ingredients and pleasant taste, but that wasn't something this place was capable of. read more

I love pizza. I think that Warwick has some great options -- Frank's, Luca Trattoria -- and some solid options -- Franico's, Fratello, JonAngelo's (when it was still in business), even the Harvest Restaurant. I've also had some of the best pizza around NYC (New Park, Spumoni Gardens, etc.). Everyone has their own tastes and opinions, but I found nothing redeeming about the pizza at Benito's. I can easily put away four slices of a decent pizza. I couldn't eat more than half a slice of this. This was about four years ago; I haven't bothered to try it again. read more

A celiac friend of mine recommended that they had gluten-free pasta & pizza here, but the experience was disappointing. The combination of awful premade crust (which tastes like apple cider vinegar) and cheap cheese (which tastes like rubber) combined with meager toppings to make a frustratingly tiny (maybe a thin 6-inches?) and unsatisfying pizza which will cost you more than $11. The regular pizza (I've been told) is salty and mediocre, but at least you get a decent portion. Pay the $3.50 for a bob's mix, buy some sauce/cheese/toppings, and make two HUGE tasty home-made pizzas the way you like them (and actually have leftovers!) You'll be happy you did. read more

I only leave reviews for exceptionally good service or very poor service. The pizza here is consistently excellent. I think it's time for Dave to do a pizza review. Equally important they are always extremely friendly. Great place all around and Hildy (shocker) who left the negative review... go back to NYC...you are not wanted here. read more

This place is near our house so it's super convenient. Love their new giant pizzas when I have a house full of teens. I thought for sure such a large pie wouldn't be cooked evenly or taste great, but it is almost better than their regular ones. Their service has always been wonderful. read more

My husband and I just picked up two heroes. The sausage was not only uncooked but not cut up and really disgusting just thrown on the bread with hard uncooked peppers. SECOND time I've received uncooked food from this place. When I called I wasnt offered cooked food or my money back. Just an I'm sorry. Stay away unless you want to get sick from uncooked food. Waste of money. read more

Call me spoiled because I live in NYC and literally have access to the best pizzerias that exist, both regular pizzerias and good old fashioned spots like Grimaldi's where you have to wait an average 45min-1hr. Like i stated in previous reviews, I used to live in Warwick and in all fairness I don't really like any pizza joint in the area (sorry J&J, and Franks) . I mean I don't even think this place is decent AND on top of that you don't take debit cards??! Joints like this just get me mad, bring your establishment into 2015 and upgrade to take cards! Conveniently there is a machine right there to take cash from...real coincidence right? Anyway, if you are a pizza lover like myself or have standards for pizza don't waste your time, if you are from out of town and find other spots nearby to dine. Main street aka "town" is about 6min away with other options. With this being said, I suppose living in a small town there aren't that many options besides this place and two other spots which aren't on their A-game either. Warwick needs a LEGIT pizza spot and I'm sure they would thrive. I rather get D'gorono from ShopRite frozen section but that's just me. read more

Took our group of 30 on short notice and we had a great meal with our softball team. Awesome pizza! The jumbo is JUMBO.

Pizza is ok , but always check your order on take-outs they make alot of mistakes and go to light on the toppings. also some of the staff is rude. read more

Yummy place to grab a quick slice or sit in the dinning room to grab a casual Italian meal. No matter what kind of pizza you get you won't be disappointed. The wings aren't to shabby either. Oh and if you want to grab some pasta, try the penne a la vodka. It super creamy. Just don't forget to bring your cash - they don't take credit cards :-( read more

My wife and I were going around town trying all the pizzerias in Warwick hoping to find a place closer then Franks in West Milford, this was our last stop for the day. We only got the pizza lots a cheese and the dough was a thin and crisp potentially our new go to pizza place until I took a bite. Where was the sauce?? All I tasted was cheese and dough, so weird. I see the sauce but I just don't taste it. So sad people my knows speak so highly of this place. read more

I go into the City all the time, and yes, there is good pizza there too, but..... Benito's is right around the corner, and it may be the best! So what about the cash only!! They have a cash machine! I eat here two to three times a week it is so good. Try Silvio's specials. The tilapia is out of this world, and don't get in front of our family getting their eggplant parmesan... you will be mowed down in their rush. If you are having a party, try one of the platters. They are delicious. I bring them to get togethers, and people hope there are leftovers, so they can take them home. My set of friends would be lost without Benito's. read more

We stop here on the way back from Minerals or Action Park pretty often. The pizza is great and the antipasto id very authentic - not a typical pizza parlor antipasto. It's not fancy but the staff is friendly, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable so what's not to like? read more

Best pizza in Warwick! If you're in town for ANY reason get the pizza here. Garlic knots and caesar salad are also other great options! The entrees are also absolutely wonderful! Whenever I come home to Warwick, I order anything with their sauce, I can't get anything else like it! Chicken and Artichokes is also a great light option! Very friendly staff. read more
