We have always loved the fresh artisanal Italian from Italy foods from Franico. It's our local place. The pizza is delicious. My favorite is the veal or chicken parmigiana. I always get a Caesar salad too. You cannot go wrong. A charming room to eat in or outside seating. It's like a little piece of Italy. It's a secret little hideaway place. They do a huge delivery business locally on the weekends. Order early. read more

Wow. DON'T DO IT. I should have known when the owner was screaming out front but he seemed friendly enough. I do not mind quirky. The pizza looked good. I ordered a grandma slice and he snipped some basil on it. It was decent. Dude had a lot of questions for me. Was I Jewish? What did I think of the lazy immigrants who don't want to work or pay taxes? This is a guy with a very obvious Italian accent. An immigrant himself I am assuming. I should have checked yelp first! The reviews are so spot on! Decent pizza. Casually yet emphatically racist. Bad taste in mouth. Never again. read more

Owner is so extremely nasty!!!! The food is not worth it either. I ordered off of Slice and the delivery time was too long so i requested to pick up instead. My husband drove there and had a hoodie on with his hands in his pocket (winter time). My husband said he placed an order and the owner replied "people who keep their hands in their pockets dont have any money" not realizing that we already paid 70$ for our online order. read more

awesome pizza good vibes and the food came out REALLY fast for us and the kids thanks guys

His manners! We ordered personalized pizza and put in tip was supposed to be delivered Owner calls to say he doesn't deliver and when I went to pick it up he gives me a very difficult time thinking I mistakenly ordered from another pizzeria but I didn't!! Service is very bad the owner is very argumentative. Never going back there read more

Service was good. Burger was very very sad Pasta was decent Some people love them, so maybe worth trying it out. read more

Pizza is fine. But be prepared to wait. Ordered by phone, came at the time they told me and waited another 20 minutes. When I followed up a second time, the guy gave me a lecture how no one is willing to wait anymore.... Not impressed. read more

We came all the way from Wisconsin, and Even though we had a long wait, we were so grateful for Franico's hard work making pizzas for our whole group as he was very busy. All the food was very delicious and we all enjoyed it very much. He kept us very entertained and was very great guy. Can't wait to come back soon. We really appreciate your hard work. read more

Franico's Pizzeria - Pizza Near Me - Warwick, New York

I love Franico's. The food is delicious. There's a bit of The Soup Nazi attitude but we have gone there for years now and it never have disappointed in the food. We eat in. Our friends go with a BYOB. read more

Watery sauce, extremely rude counter guy. Better off at Burger King a short walk away

While shopping in Florida NY with my wife we stopped into Franico's for a pizza. The owner was incredibly rude and nasty when taking our orders, and the pizza was cold and WAY over salty when delivered. We complained to him but he said "that's the way I make pizza, take it or leave it". We decided to "leave it" and started to gather our things to leave. In doing so my wife noticed some "black beads" on the floor in the corner under the table. They were MOUSE DROPPINGS!!! After an argument about not paying for un-edible pizza, we left- NEVER TO COME BACK AGAIN. Do yourself a favor- DO NOT EVER EAT AT FRANICO'S PIZZERIA in Florida NY!! read more

I do gig deliveries on the side. It's how I figure out what places are good because I get to see it's patrons, plus an extra couple bucks is cool too. I've made three deliveries for this guy, and can't figure out how he's still in business. I hear the food is great, but the guy is an absolute jerk. I've had an issue with this guy every time I've been there. The last time he made a customer's pie wrong, and was not nice about me pointing it out. First he tells me to just bring the guy the wrong pie, which I'm not going to knowingly do to an innocent customer. He was adamant that I don't contact the client to tell them about the delay (which is wrong). So while I waited, I had this guy going off on me the entire time like his mistake was my fault. Finally, he pulled the remade pie out, threw it on the counter, and said, "Take your pizza and get out of here". I don't think I can patronize a business where the guy treats people like that. I know I certainly won't take his deliveries anymore. read more

What an amazing experience! My family drove up from the city to celebrate my son's high school graduation. He got to pick the location and wanted to go to his favorite place to eat: FraNico's in Warwick. I spoke with Nic the day before. He had a large table waiting for us in the dining room. The food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. We were not rushed, and food was continuously brought out. Everything was delicious, but we especially enjoyed the hot antipasto, the calamari, the garlic knots, the bruschetta, the meatballs and the barese cold antipasto. By the time we were finished, we barely had room for the entrees. We decided on some subs and pizzas. My family from Brooklyn and Staten Island LOVED the pizza. They normally hate Orange County pizza, but this was an exception. Nic took great care of us. He was very accommodating with my youngest who has special needs. We felt like family when we went there and strongly recommend it. read more

After we walked in and placed our order, the owner came by to sling a few paper plates at us like a frisbee, which really made us feel welcome and appreciated. The owner then kindly reminded us of all the flavorful toppings we could use......parmasean cheese, garlic salt, red pepper flakes....yum!! Too bad because the tropical climate within the joint has caused it all to harden like a rock. As we all proceeded to attempt to pay he kindly reminded us someone already paid (we were a group of 16 (8 children) so this is possible. As we proceeded to our cars, we heard maniacal screaming coming from the front of the restaurant claiming we were purposely stealing a pizza from him. As he continued his rant, he became increasingly verbally abusive even after walking back toward him to happily pay. None of the pricing even matched his menu, our penalty was 5 $4 bottles of water and a soda(which nobody had). Nobody works there, he runs the place himself, he has no idea who ordered what and then just shouts you paid only to realize you didn't pay. There are several pizza locations locally with great customer service and food, look elsewhere or get a corndog from the carnival.......anything but here. read more

Just called and asked if they deliver and screamed at Saying are you crazy delivery at this time. It is almost 9. Then hung up on Why do mean. No stars read more

When we moved here this was the first pizza we had. Literally, ate it on the floor our closing day- needless to say we would love nothing more than to be great loyal Customers. The pizza is good, better than many other places in the area ( trust me we tried) but unfortunately I feel I am close to banning them. The owner is rude... like in your face no holding back rude. He's rude to customers, he's rude to employees. He says what he wants and doesn't care at all. It's a shame because he makes good pizza if only he valued his customers a little more read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. I REPEAT DO NOT. I do not even live in this part of NY, just came with family to get a slice and as soon as we entered he was already arguing with a customer. We entered ready to order 3 pieces because we had a large party with us, and he asked us "would you like to sit inside or out" we said "in" he said " why you want to make a mess". That was number 1. Number 2, we then went to ask him where the bathrooms were and said "don't make a mess back there and don't poop everywhere". Someone go give this man a piece of your pizza, don't let people talk to you like this. read more

I am so relieved to see how many other people have commented on the owner/annoying guy that just yells behind the counter the whole time. The poor staff that have to put up with that! I was just banned after my first order ever last night. After getting a busy signal for almost an hour, I finally get them to answer and asked for the Capri, which I was told was a white pizza with shrimp and garlic. Well, I guess I called too close to closing time because I was rushed out as I picked it up and the three older guys inside were turning off lights and leaving. I took a quick look at the pie in the dark and left. I get home and realized it was made with red sauce and mozzarella, so I called right back, but nobody answered, twice. I waited until 5:15 tonight to call back and ask for a replacement. But that was just too late again. I was instantly told that I can no longer order because I "bothered" them very much by ordering last night when they wanted to leave. And once I knew it was a mistake, I should've called back right away. Even though the guy had just admitted they left right after I paid. He then throws in that a Capri is never made as a white pizza. I am then told to leave and never come back. I said fine, just give me a refund. He says, "NO, YOU BRINGA MY PIZZA BACKA!' I didn't save it, but I'm sure he would've just kicked me out even if I did. Completely ridiculous situation. He knew he made a mistake by rushing-both on the phone while ordering, and while picking up. But instead of even trying to make me happy, he bans me. Don't worry if you're reading this, I won't be back. But I WILL tell people how you treat new customers. read more

We ordered a couple of chicken parm hero's and slices from this spot and let me tell you it was slamming good. The hero's were overflowing with tasty chicken and dripping with cheese. I loved that the hero's were cut into a "V" wedge style. It was easy to eat and it keep the overflowing goodness from spilling out. Nice touch! The slices were just as good. Cooked to a perfect NYC style slice. That meant that I was not soggy and floppy but crispy, firm and perfect. This is a must pizza joint if you are ever in these parts of NY. read more

Franico's Pizzeria - a slice of pizza - Pizza Near Me - Warwick, New York

The best Italian food in NY! I have eaten there catering multiple times and it never disappoints! Only wish they would deliver to Harts!

I will never order from here again. I orderer my food at 6:30pm via the Slice app. It said it would take 40 minutes...no problem. My order didn't come so I called. My order was never processed, but I was already charged. They told me they would start my order and it would be about 20-25 minutes. I did not receive my order until close to 8:30pm. This place is very unprofessional and I will never go back again. read more

Horrible customer service. Didn't even end up ordering. Someone name Nick got on phone and was super nasty. Told immediately "have ur card ready because ur paying me". Ok no problem! Then when ask how many a full tray of chicken fingers feed was told "kids don't need to eat more than 2 each so it's plenty!" Didn't want to deliver a catering order 0.2 miles away literally when one tray alone is $80! Don't you deliver pizza???/'s Then gave price greater than what it was when I attempted to place my order online. When asked he yelled at us about that too!! Finally agreed and not feeling confident it would actually be delivered we then asked for 30 garlic knots and was screamed at again because "you have to order by tray!" At that point I had enough and told my husband just forget it! We will be taking our $300 order elsewhere. read more

Tried different pizza place tonight because usual spot was closed. Long wait, about 40 minutes. To be fair, they were understaffed and in the weeds when I arrived. However, the man with Italian accent making the pizza was extremely rude & hostile. He called my female friend "sweetheart" and told her to sit down and wait after she checked on her order. She had waited over 30 mins at that point without asking a thing. I called him out on the way he speaks to customers and was promptly told to mind my own business & that I wasn't going to be served now. I explained that I already paid and would need my money back... he dropped it and the cashier had my order on the counter. To top it off the pizza wasn't great. Won't be coming back as there are too many other options in this town. Sorry, don't like writing a review like this but it was bananas. read more

Worse customer service. Guy with Italian accent was yelling at poor girl on the phone and then got on the phone to tell at me after we dropped $60 for an order he messed up, that I ordered wrong? Lol. Took almost 2 hours to be delivered. Never again. Feel bad for employees that work there. read more

Pizza is pretty average. This review is mainly for the 2 older guys who work behind the counter. (Owners maybe?) The food is fine but the customer service is abysmal. We were told our order would be delivered in an hour and after an hour had passed we called to check up. The owner told my husband he was busy and hung up on him. I thought my husband must have misunderstood, so I called back and the owner yelled at me and confirmed, YES, he had hung up on my husband and then he yelled that I can "Go to Shoprite!" for my pizza. What?? I was calling to check on my order because it had been nearly two hours since we'd ordered it. I told him I've never heard of a business owner speaking to a customer like that but he just kept yelling "yeah yeah Sweetheart, go to Shoprite!!" He was so patronizing and obnoxious. I've since heard from many other people that this is standard operating procedure for this establishment. We'll certainly never be back. read more

The pizza is really good here, but the owner has an attitude to his staff and customers. I ordered a slice to eat as I waited at the laundromat next door, and when the girl asked if I wanted a small box for my slice, I said "ok" because it would be easier to eat it in my car. Apparently the owner had an issue and said "where are you taking it, to Italy?" Like come on, really? I guess the owner is cheap because they charge more for credit cards too. This isn't the only time I've seen the owner be a jerk. I read the other reviews and I completely believe them. read more

My experience tonight was by far the wurst I have ever had in a restaurant. The short story is that who I believe to be the owner was upset with me when I came to pick up my food and he told me to sit outside and I asked him how much longer since it was already longer than he indicated on the phone. When i went to my cat he came to the door and yelled to me do you want your food or not. I was going to wait but he was so nasty I went back in and said since you yelled at me I do not want my food to which he responded get the F**K out and then repeated it. I then said I would never order from him again and he started screaming leave now. I have never been treated this way by a business owner in my life and am horrified. He is not deserving of anyone's business. read more

I've supported this business for the past 13 years. I never write yelp reviews but this past experience I unfortunately had warranted one. I called in to order Stuffed Shells in Vodka Sauce and the girl answering the phones asked the owner if he would do it, instead of accommodating the request, Nick got on the phone and started screaming (ACTUALLY SCREAMING) saying they don't do that.. do I get it or do I not get that the only thing they do in vodka sauce is penne. Not only was the screaming uncalled for with such a simple request, it was unbelievably unprofessional and has now turned away a customer who has done nothing but support this business since they first opened. I won't be returning and at this point suggest you go somewhere else in town that will appreciate your business. read more

The man with the italian accent is a good enough reason alone never to come to this restauraunt. We tried to order dinner for my dad's birthday and he was the one who tried to take our order. After being barrated by him, asked if we were looking at the right menu, rushed off the phone, and overall treated horribly, we called back to cancel our order. A younger gentleman anwsered the phone and after we explained why we are canceling our order he exclaimed, "don't worry this happens all the time".
