Went to this place close to the same time as another reviewer that said they got burnt pizza. We ate there 12:45 PM, and their review was timestamped 1:45 PM the same day, though obviously I don't know how much time passed between them eating there and leaving the review. I have such a hard time believing their pizza was burned... We ate slices inside the store and they were amazing, exactly the way pizza should be made -- in a hot oven, crispy with a slight sear on the crust because if how hot the oven is. The pizza slices were some of the largest I have ever seen... One of the best places I've eaten. How can our experiences be so different? Very good pizza and Stromboli. Growing up in New York City, I am very picky about my Pizza. This local joint passed the test with flying colors and it is good to have good pizza very close to home. To start off. I love the lasagna pie. Your chicken rolls are always great as well. That's where the 4 star comes from. Now for the bad. Lately you've just been slacking on service. Told us 45 minutes. Came in 50 minutes later. You got frustrated and Yelled to the cashier to tell customers it's gonna be an hour in a half for a pizza. Lol then yell out you aren't making anymore chicken rolls because you didn't feel like making any more. Which brings me to my next negative comment. We actually called today. New Year's Eve to actually order a big order and your cheap automated thing says you are closed. Happen to drive by and yea you guys were definitely open. "Holy Zeppoles Batman!" I have to say I'm definitely a fan of this pizza joint! I've ordered regular slices, hot heroes (meatball parm) and O-M-G zeppoles with complete satisfaction. Being from NYC it's disheartening to always order zeppoles from pizza shops in my rural home area and basically have the pizza guy/gal say, "Zeppoles? What's that?" [insert facepalm] Thankfully Little Pops has those delightful treats! Just for the zeppoles alone I'll drive out of my way to visit this pizza spot to satisfy my native NYC crave for those amazing treats that are dreadful for my waistline. Funny how I found them on my drive home from work and brought 2 slices and must say I LOVED IT!!! Nice large slices and the price is a little more than the large slices I get near my house in Monroe from Tasco's, but it has the right balance of cheese and sauce mix. 2 thumbs up from me and will recommend this spot. I loved it so much I stopped by 3 nights in a row for those 2 slices. Only issue I ran into was on a Friday night around 6:45pm I wanted to try one of their Calzones, but they told me it would be 45 minutes for pick and I didn't have that much time from my lunch break so I passed, but other than that I know not to order late Friday nights ((very busy)) and once again this is a place I will get my pizza from. read more

We got the garlic knots, fried ravioli, slice of cheesecake and the bruschetta pizza. The garlic knots were raw in the middle...fried ravioli...blander then a caucasian wedding on the cape, the pizza...unremarkable, probably the least offensive thing we ordered but I could have gotten the same experience if I opened a can of tomatoes and dumped an entire McCormick​ container of dried basil. Yelpverse, I'm a woman who has never turned away a desert, I thought, 'its cheesecake, how bad could it be? Sure it'll probably taste like a fridge but like who can screw up creamcheese an sugar?' Well...they did. I'm pretty sure I've got enough artificial vanilla in me to qualify as an aisle in stop and shop. The crust was soggy and the gelatinous mess I tasted didn't even taste like creamcheese. I threw it away. I have never in my life thrown away a dessert and I did with this one. In short, I expected better of you NY...I get its outside of the city but like don't give up on your dreams, use some salt for God's sake. My girlfriend's family orders from here all the time, and I cringe everytime I stay over on their "pizza nigh." I have had a large portion of their menu so far, and they have yet to get anything right. All of their heros are dry. All of their pastas are overcooked and oily. All of their wings are overcooked by about 20 minutes. And all of their pizzas just taste cheap. Good italian food is simple, strong flavors, cooked well. We were told Little Pops was the best pizza in town- both my husband and I ordered some kind of chicken pizza ( seems like all they have besides cheese by the slice)- anyway, we both got really ill. Little pops pizza is a really solid pizzeria in maybrook. I have only had the pizza here. Prices are competitive to the other pizzerias in the area. I do think this is your best option for pizza if you are in maybrook. The staff is always nice wether eating inside or ordering to go. Little pops offers more than just pizza. There menu includes hot subs and chicken wings. It's a typical American Italian pizza place. I do not know if they deliver I forgot to ask sorry I ran into someone I knew and started talking lol. Food is generally good, but do not order the rolls, they are VERY undercooked. I tried to give it another shot but no, same thing. Half the dough was unbaked and I wasn't gonna drive back and ask for a refund so I ended up just eating only half of what I paid for unfortunately. We have been going to Little Pop's for years and love the food. Increasingly though, the pizza is hastily made. The sauce does not extend to the crust and the onions are all clumped in the middle. We excused it the first time it happened, but it has been three weeks in a row.
