Google Review 88…read moreCharles has become one of our regular spots. We've been coming here for years, and it's amazing to see the transformation from the old Italian restaurant it used to be. The new ownership really elevated the experience and brought something fresh to the town. The food has always been consistently good. If you're visiting for the first time, the Tomahawk steak is a must-try--not only is it delicious, but the tableside presentation is a show in itself. The cocktails are excellent, and the desserts are a perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant is spacious, with a nice bar area and a beautiful patio that's perfect during the warmer months. They even have heaters for the colder seasons before closing the patio for winter. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and overall experience, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The only suggestion I have for management is to pay more attention to the main entrance. The area around the ATM often has stacked chairs, boxes, or other items that make the entrance look cluttered. It's a small detail, but first impressions matter, and the entrance should reflect the quality of the restaurant inside. Overall, this is one of our favorite local restaurants, and we always enjoy coming back. Just remember they're closed on Tuesdays. Highly recommended.

It can be a date night, family get together or just dinner on a regular day. I always live hearing the specials and usually I'm not a specials kind of guy but there's always something in their specials that grabs my attention and is always delicious. If you're a steak person their steak is always on point. Good quality meat. The herb butter on the strip was the perfect compliment to the perfectly charred juicy steak. 88 Charles street has become a special place for us. Love it everytime we go.

Our favorite pizza is to get 1/2 Crazy Chicken, 1/2 penne vodka...love that the pizza is so crispy. Last week we had 1/2 cheese and 1/2 meatball and it was amazing also. Can't go wrong here. Cascarino's is the real deal, and I do not use that phrase lightly…read more We tried three things on this visit: the grandma pie, a classic regular slice, and a custom panzerotto. Let me start with that panzerotto, because it deserves its own paragraph. This is the kind of dish you would have to fly to Italy to find, and somehow Cascarino's is making it right here. It was the single best thing I ate, and I am still thinking about it. The grandma pie was phenomenal, perfectly crisp on the bottom, pillowy inside, with that beautiful golden crust that so few places actually nail. The regular pizza held its own too, with solid sauce, great cheese pull, and a crust that had real character. But what ties it all together is the ownership. This is a true owner-operated spot, and you feel it in every detail, the care in the kitchen, the warmth at the counter, the consistency in every bite. When the owner is on site, this place is firing on all cylinders. Five star service, no question. And order the rice ball, packed with cheese and meat and hotttt out of the oven. Cascarino's is, without a doubt, the best pizza and Italian food restaurant in the area. It is worth the drive. I have made it twice in two weeks and am already thinking about a third trip.

The pizza still has that solid NY-style crunch, good flavor, and plenty of topping options. Whether grabbing a quick slice or ordering from the full menu, the food is consistently well-prepared and hits the mark. What really stands out is the consistency. The owner clearly takes pride in the operation, the kitchen stays on point, and the staff keeps things moving. It's not easy to maintain quality over time, but Cascarino's has managed to do exactly that. Pizza Beast Verdict: Still one of the most reliable pizza spots in the area. Great slices, solid menu, and a place I keep coming back to for a reason. Rating: 5/5 Beast Slices

It doesn't feel like New York and it is the most beautiful place to celebrate, come out with your girls or spend a sunny day in the outdoors. Fun fact: 8 different wines are grown, harvested, fermented and bottled in their winery. They also have different flavored sangrias! Loved ordering the mix and match flight where we got to taste the sangrias and wines.
