If I could give negative stars I definitely would. I am writing this review due to an incredibly…read moreawful experience my best friend is going through with this business right now. They have had her vehicle since August 29, 2023 and she was told it would be completed one week after drop off. She paid for the parts prior to her appointment. It is now October 13th and she still doesn't have her car!!!! She asked for a total, two days later she finally gets the total and asks if they take credit cards....they DO NOT take credit cards. Asking if they accept zelle, PayPal, etc... they said no and something about they don't want to pay taxes for that.... She has been without her vehicle... her ONLY vehicle... and she just wanted to pay to get her car. They avoided responding to her and sent her husband a text. First off, that's just rude and bad business ethic as you were having a conversation with her not the husband. The work for this vehicle honestly should be phenomenal but honestly with just the experience she has been having I'm going to say she will likely have to take it somewhere else. Avoid this place for ANY Autobody work or anything. Unless you want to get the run around and told this and that and be without your vehicle longer then they tell you to expect to get it back. Infuriating beyond belief!! DO NOT GO HERE!

Had what was, in every way, an excellent experience with VIP Collision…read more Had to bring in a 2021 model year vehicle for some front end damage, and given modern vehicle front ends are packed full of sensors, radar, cameras, etc, it feels like even seemingly basic repairs cost an arm and a leg nowadays. With the first 2 quotes I got from shops in town, I was worried that'd be the case here also. Thankfully, VIP gave me a quote that was 1/3 of what the next cheapest estimate was, while still using OEM parts and being able to schedule me for just a few days after I first went in for the estimate (only real delay there was placing the order for the parts from the manufacturer and getting those in). While VIP originally suggested it could take the better part of a week for the work to be done, they had it ready by the next day and even got it detailed. Huge thanks to Gary and everyone else at VIP for the great work.

They dealt with the insurance company for me so I didn't have to and he sent me a quick text message every step of the way just to keep me updated. When they weren't working on it they took the time to wash it outside and detail the inside. He even went with me to go get a rental car and take the rental car back so I didn't have to walk in the weather. All of the work didn't take very long either he got all the parts OEM and pretty much had the job all done within a couple weeks.

My job was done early but there was paint on the side of the vehicle. The issue with it being done early was I was not spoken to until a few hours before causing me to have to pay extra for a rental car because the original estimate was wrong. Since Jason was out of the office I was told he would touch base with me by Tuesday but he did not attempt to contact me till Thursday when I did not have service. His next call was Friday to come pick up the vehicle. This was a long holiday weekend and the rental place was closing in 2 hours. We previously worked out he would leave it for me to pick up over the weekend so I could arrange a ride. He promised the keys would be left behind the desk to be picked up the following Tuesday when the shop reopened. Not only were the keys left in the car I have a newer truck so it's physically impossible to leave the keys in it and it to be locked. Sadly today I was referred to go to this shop again to deal with good ol Jason. He proceeded to badger me of why I would want to work with him again. To be frank progressive said they don't have alot going on and the body shop I was trying to go to in Reno did not have the proper frame working tools as this company does. Instead of being professional he sadly trauma dumped about why he didn't call me instead of just saying sorry I missed this because of my vacation. Telling a pregnant woman about your daughters loss is so not tackful. A simple I'm sorry I didn't call you as my front desk had stated I would, would have kept me as a client and owned up to an honest mistake. Trauma dumping is so unprofessional. I definitely thought it would be worth the drive to reno to get my car fixed vs dealing with emotionally charged workers who miss final details. Good luck with this shop!
