My pickups engine started to have a rough idle and the service engine light came on. Brought my truck to this shop and they did a diagnostic scan. In addition to the one cylinder that wasn't firing there were other codes listed on the printout. After discussing the other codes and what they mean with the owner he recommended to drive and see if they reappear. At no time did he try to pressure me into spending more money. I was blessed to have these gentleman work on my truck. I was towing my mom's fifth wheel when the engine took a dump on me. It left my family and I stranded on the highway to Fallon, NV. I'm from Las Vegas and I didn't know who to trust with working on our truck. So we called different places and there was a wait to fix the truck places were understaffed. My tow truck driver suggested a place in town that was legit, Expert Auto. I got there and told them my story. With that being said they told me "We have your back and let you know how we can get you up and running again." I can tell you I we overcome with happiness. They called me and told me they found the problem and sent me pictures of it. The piston blew out the side of the engine. The engine was going to have to be replaced. The cost was going to be pricey but Zack worked with me. He replaced the clutch and engine for $5000. INSANITLY cheap for the work try finding a better price really you can't. The work was impeccable and he even stay late to give me the truck during the winter holiday's. I am forever grateful for Expert Auto for working hard. Avoid this automotive shop at all cost, or it could really cost you! They deserve a -5 stars, but there is not an option for that. I had trouble outside Fallon NV in 2007 in my motorhome and called them to come out and look at it. I had not turned an extra cooling fan on and the engine overheated, so I wanted it checked out as I had a long trip ahead. I drove it back to their shop and ask them to check it out and after spending some time in the engine area I was assured it was road ready. I spent the night in the RV park across the street and headed out the next day. I didn't even make it out of town and had to turn around and returned to the shop (a very costly mistake). This was a new problem that I have believe was caused by tampering. I am not going into the full details, but after replacing part after part, they tore into the engine without even doing a compression test (not that they had the training or equipment to do it). After more than two weeks of being stranded in Fallon, they said it was ready to go. When I started the engine, the oil pressure went off the gauge and the engine sounded like it was going to throw a rod. They want to continue to work on it, but I realized it would never leave there if I allowed them to continue. Don Myers (owner) became very confrontational so I paid the bill to date and arranged move it to another shop. When I went to move it, I found they had disabled the engine and I was forced to call the police. They sent the mechanic out to reconnect the wires and I jumped in and limped down the street to a competent mechanic. This experience cost me over $10,000.00 since a new engine had to be installed and what I was charged by them to ruin my engine. I also met another person in the RV park that the same thing had happened to. Please be very careful and avoid this shop! read more

I was on my back to school from christmas break, crossing multiple states, and not even half way through my car sprung a coolant leak in the middle of nowhere.
