I visited Jiffy Lube last month for an oil change and tire rotation. When they were finished, I had an engine light and tire light. I went back 3 times that day, and each time, they just cleared the code that came right back. I was told it was just a coincidence ( Never a light, and now on both things they touched, yeah, right). After reading on the internet, I discovered a reset button that must be pressed for the tire rotation, and Jiffy Lube told me I suddenly had a bad sensor. The Jiffy Lube mechanic told me I needed to change my air filter for the engine code until he realized they had just changed it. My engine light is still on, and I am waiting for my mechanic. I had never had issues before. I take all my vehicles every 3 to 4 months. Never again! If they had just done the right thing instead of lying and deflecting, all would have been well. read more

Fallon NV location . Left a socket wrench attached under my car didn't find it until I'd drove 25 miles home. Never asked if I had a coupon before totaling my bill. Paid 148 for a full synthetic oil change was quoted 120. Guy under the car didn't seem to be aware everyone can hear the comments he's making. Just an all around unprofessional crew. I've been here many times never had an issue. Won't be going back. Unacceptable situation with the wrench I could of been liable for that thing coming loose and hitting another car or causing an accident. read more

first off calling this place is a waste of time since the manager is completely incompetent. Stay away from this place they will charge you for things your car doesn't need and then when you call they quote completely false information and say we are not trying to rip people off. Avoid these scam artists and go elsewhere! They say that severe driving conditions are 99% of everyone in the country. We had 2 days of inclement weather and the manager Allen says it is severe driving conditions. The guy is out of his mind. This place is unreal! I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or something, I've been here nearly 2hrs waiting for my oil to be changed, there were two cars ahead of me when I arrived, Both for oil changes only, What's the point of having 3 bays if they only have 1 crew? I'm looking at my truck sitting in the bay and I have absolutely no idea if anybody's working on it or not. Our truck has 23K miles on it and they tried to upsell an oil system flush! unbelievable! She quoted me $115, but the final bill was $122.00 when I questioned this she told me my truck required extra oil, She did not know that when she quoted me the $115? I started to argue with the manager about it but in the end I figured it was worth the extra seven dollars just to get the hell out of there Never again will I come here, what a joke. read more

I've used this location a few times. Never had an issue. Recent reviews kind of scared me to go today but I decided to anyway. All the fellas working today were awesome. Friendly and professional by far! I know people complain about the price but I am willing to pay just for the sheer convenience. I don't want to change it myself so I'm willing to pay! Walmart had a 3.5 hour wait and jiffy lube got me in and out in 45 mins total. Unless something happens later today, I have no complaints. If need be, I'll update the review. Told had oil leak excessive but not low on oil till after the change started seeing oil leak , they say is oil pan gasket , problem is you have to make your own chevy's don't have gasket , now she knows she was wrong and will not return call because more labor intensive than she claimed ! Been on conference call-since 9 am this morning and when I call guy answers and whispered I don't know what to tell him ! 01/01/24 took to real mechanics not only were they wrong but they still haven't filled up about safety check never done had headlight out told would cover they have done nothing but try to talk over the customer,district mgr ask if I thought the sabotaging your car , his words not mine , funny how my mechanic said looked like it had been sprayed with dirty oil I'm! DO NOT GO HERE! I thought this place was okay. They were nice enough and had changed my oil before. I hadn't put things together before. I got a fairly new car last year that ran beautifully. It didn't have any issue idling or driving down the street or anything. Well, I thought to get my oil changed, because I like to keep on those things. I took my Toyota Rav4 here. It was a HUGE mistake. After getting in, I drove to the nearby walmart to grab a drink before heading home, but as I idled. The engine revved the grumbled and rumbled nearly dying. It startled me because it had never, EVER done that before. I thought maybe it was just because the oil got changed. When I got home, I researched it a bit, but didn't find anything really. I'm not a mechanic. I didn't know what was going on nor did I have the ability to spend hundreds of dollars to figure it out. Well, I needed the oil changed again, but decided to go to an actual mechanic. They said they hadn't used the proper tool and had broken the oil filter housing. They had done a terrible job which had directly led to my car issues. They had overfilled my car with oil. Their ignorance or terrible service had nearly killed my car. I will have to pay damages to cover what they had caused. If I had money, I'd sue them so they would have to pay to fix my car. Maybe it was someone new maybe not, either way. I won't chance going here ever again. I used to think this place was alright, but those without any knowledge would get their butts handed to them. I repeat. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Right now their waiting room is closed so you can stay in your car or wait outside. Everyone there opted to stay in their car. For the convenience and service they are worth the price. This was a real horrible experience for me here at this location..... I am in town visiting my mom and knew it was time to get my fluids checked/changed. I always go to Jiffy Lube in Berkeley and have great experiences there. I made the mistake of thinking this would be like the other Jiffy Lube that I am use to. Firstly, the place is WAY over priced. I pay $20 less for the same services. David, the general manager and his staff who works at this Fallon location cannot be trusted....... He started my payment off by telling me he broke a piece that holds my air filter in. uuuh ok?? He replaced it for free (duh, he broke it). Then as I am paying....he goes over the fluids that they checked. I didn't hear him say transmission fluid. So, I asked..."did you check the transmission fluid?" and he meekly said "uuh yeah". I asked him to show me. He showed me that the oil had been changed. I asked him again to show me the transmission fluid. He proceeded to tell me that I didn't have a dipstick to my transmission fluid. WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I asked him to show me. HE COUDLN'T FIND MY TRANSMISSION FLUID LOCATION. He had two other employees standing next to him who looked just as confused as he was. HOW EMBARRASSING!!!! They don't know where my transmission fluid is in my car?!?!? THATS YOUR JOB TO KNOW. I then pointed the location out to him and one of the woman working there goes... "oh fancy". As if my beat up honda has a fancy transmission location??? So, basically....what I am saying is he did not check my transmission fluid even though i paid for it. He didn't even know where it was in my car. god know what other fluids they didn't check but lied straight to my face saying they did and had me pay for it. This place is a joke. I would advise going someplace else where they don't lie to you and actually know how to do their job. Worse part is....the general manager David told my mom that he would give me a full refund for doing his job improperly....but the next day he left me a message saying he wouldn't. Well where do I start. First of all I called these people to inquire about a credit for using the filters that I purchased and David told me there would be a credit of $25 for them using my fuel filter. Great I said. David also said that my oil change would be about $99 and change. Wonderful! So my husband and I take my truck in, leave it for just over an hour and upon completion we are given a bill for $182 and some cents. First of all, where's my credit for using my filter. $1 is all that was allowed. What happened to the $25 you told me. Well this is all I can give you. Just driving through this podunk craphole of a town and realized I was way overdue for an oil change. I was surprised this ex-nuclear testing area had electricity, let alone chain vehicle repair facilities where I probably wouldn't be raped by locals. The job was done quickly and efficiently and the price was good. Would be 5 stars but the manager was very rude and unprofessional. When I told him what I needed I said "I need and oil change and wiper fluid" he said "alright an oil change and wiper blades" as he walked away. I didn't even have the chance to tell him that I said fluid not blades until he came back to tell me the total. When I told him that I said fluid and I didn't say blades he abruptly cut in saying "you said blades" and when I said "no I didn't I said fluid" he cut in over and over saying that I said blades. I know that I said fluid because I'm pretty anxious when doing things like this which leaves me no room to mess up. But what I said is beside the point, I'm the customer and he's the manager and to loudly repeat back at your customer that they said the wrong thing when the thing they said doesn't matter anyway because the customer already told them what they needed is sooo unprofessional and rude. I never leave reviews but this was a bummer to be treated like that. read more

Well here is my experience at Jiffy Lube Fallon for an oil change. I was quoted one price and when it was finished it went up $15. Excuse was "your car requires a quart more than other cars. (I accept that) but my car is a VW. Pretty common vehicle. Why wouldn't they know how much oil is required? Shouldn't they know this BEFORE the quote? Next we go through the "cap check". First thing to notice, oil is splashed all over the top on the engine cover. (No cleaning of a spill). Second, the screws are missing from the air filter. He calls the mechanic over to point out the missing screws. Mechanic says "I didn't check the air filter". But.... Here is the kicker, I paid for a full check and it was noted on the receipt they DID check the air filter. Hmmmm.... What else did they NOT do but said they did. Extremely disappointed. Now I am sitting in the waiting room for them to "correct" the paperwork. And the service writer said, "it's going to be a while, I have to make a bunch of phone calls". Professionalism at its best. The GM is quite pissed at me for pointing out their error. Wow! read more

Ive always driven out of my way to go to this particular Jiffy Lube. The employees for years have always been very friendly and professional. Service is always quick and Im always confident that everything was installed correctly. Unlike other shops you dont have to worry a mechanics going to comeback pushing a $1000 repair you weren't expecting or wait an hour and a half for a simple tire rotation. Ill always use Jiffy Lube every 6000 miles! read more
