Came here to get some tires balanced and mounted. The shop was busy and the guys in the front tried to squeeze me in but offered to set me an appointment for later on the day to minimize my wait time and I appreciated that. Showed up to my appointment and was seen quickly and got the tires mounted and balanced. Once done I quickly checked I had 4 wheels on and left. When I arrived to my destination I realized I was missing a center cap on one of my wheels and also notice I had a missed call and voicemail from the shop. They had the center cap and they were letting me know. What a relief !! While it sucks they let me go without one of my center caps, I mean what else could have they missed? I appreciate the fact they called and let me know they had it instead of letting me think I lost it somewhere on the road. I would return and recommend the shop. Their system of taking videos and pictures of what's wrong was also a huge selling point. Don't be surprised if things take longer though. C bar R damaged all 4 of my new wheels when installing tires.. Scratched them around the outter lip, and put 2 chips in one of them. I was sent pictures while at work. And asked a family member to refuse to take the truck from the shop. I came by after hours to see for myself and Someone was still there..this first employee I talked to said they would make it right. "We're not in the business of unhappy customers." He told me he would speak with management, and have someone call me in the morning with options. No one called until mid day, and only to remind me that the truck was finished and I could pick it up at my convenience. I reminded them of the situation, and was transferred to another employee who was rather rude and unsympathetic to my concerns. He said they had put touch up paint in the chips. I work out of town, and could not pick the truck up in person before they close. I told him that I was not comfortable paying for this job without inspecting it in person, But I had another appointment at another repair shop Tomorrow and I would have to have the truck back that evening. He proceeded to tell me: "if you don't pay, then that truck can't leave" and followed with "or you can take the truck but we will need to keep the wheels until this is resolved" I had to have a friend go pick up the truck, plead my case, and he still ended up paying for the job to be able to take the truck. When I got home, the touch up looks like crap and the outside lips of all 4 wheels still have visible scratches. I am no rookie when it comes to this process. I have done every part of this myself at other times in life. From coating the wheels, to mounting the tires, to picking up customers at their homes. - even some unhappy ones.. I know exactly how the wheels got scratched where they did, and the excuses and B/S I got out of the people at C bar R was offensive. These people have no idea what customer service is, and they make it hard to want to "live local" I will never go back to this shop. They lack pride in workmanship, and integrity. Both of which are far more important to me than convenience. Mistakes get made, but when that happens you have to treat the customer right. I highly recommend: If you care about your vehicle, take it somewhere else. read more

I am in the middle of a summer tour through the western US right now, and I was in Fallon for a performance at the Churchill County Museum. After rehearsing during the day, I came out to my car at lunchtime only to find that it was not idling properly, and would only drive about 5MPH. I was freaking out as you can imagine since I have thousands more miles to go this month. With the help of museum staff, we called around only to find that other garages could not take me, they were full. Then the facilities manager of the museum remembered this place and called up Vivian and Sarah right away. They were able to get me in, Steve diagnosed what was happening (the throttle was gunked up and the electrical systems were malfunctioning), fix the car, and do it all before they closed at 5pm at an affordable price! Steve even advised me what follow up to do with my mechanic in Oregon once I got back home, and they called to check up on me to make sure I and my car were okay the next day. Whether you're a local or a traveler like me, you are in good hands with these people. I wish more businesses operated like these folks, the world would honestly be a better place because of it. read more

Steve and his team are awesome! This is the second time that I have lived in Fallon, NV as a military member. Both times (2002-2005 and 2016-current) my wife and I have used C Bar R for our tires and more. Most recently my 2007 Dodge Ram had some issues in the front end. We replaced wheel hubs and an axel. Post that, there was a squeak that they dealt with and my truck is as good as new! If you are in the neighborhood I strongly recommend C Bar R! 8/27/15 After a major blow out on Hwy 50, Brian changed a tire on our 5th wheel then escorted us back to this tire shop where his boss Steve discovered that a second tire was about to exploded and shred! I bought tires last year at C bar R, and I've really been needing to get them rotated, get my oil changed, etc, but I always forget to call and make an appointment! So I ran into Vivian twice, and told her I needed to come in. She ended up calling ME to make the appointment, came and picked up my car while I was working, and dropped it back off when they were done. I can not say enough good things about the crew at this facility!!! A while back I was in a minor collision which caused the alignment on my car to be out of place, as well as cause my left driver side tire to be messed up due to the same issue. Since my little family was making a very long trip last week, we stopped in to have it fixed. These guys were amazing, they got my car in as soon as we got there, took it for a test drive and immediately took a look at it. Originally they were only going to be able to replace the tire because they couldn't fix the alignment until after 2pm. Unfortunately we couldn't wait that long because it was hot and my two small daughters were with me, and we had a long drive ahead of us to try and beat nightfall. These guys made the extra time right then and they got fixed that as well. On top of that, one of the gentlemen there let my girls run around and play on his land right behind the shop so they wouldn't have to stay seated for so long. I mean they just spent hours in the car seated already, so for me that was a huge and much appreciated gesture. The customer service here is top notch and the prices are beyond reasonable. On 8/24/17, we were traveling from Las Vegas, NV to Northern California on US 95 when we blew 3 trailer tires 35 miles south of Fallon, NV. After wasting 2 hours trying to get AAA to help us they politely said, "Sorry there is nothing we can do". They did give us the number for C Bar R Tire Pros. We contacted them and was put in touch with Eli. By then it was almost his closing time. After discussing our problem he said if we could get the flat tires to him, he would stay open until we got there. We put the trailer up on blocks and left it on the side of the road and went into Fallon. All the time Eli kept in contact with us.. When we got to Fallon, Eli quickly changed the tires and we were on our way. The price was very reasonable. ( Mounting tires by lantern light in the middle of the desert is not fun.)
