Brunch (or any outing, really) with these too always lifts my spirits Steak and eggs (with hollandaise), farmer's omelette, cronut french toast, rum punch... (Elaine was an excellent waitress)

This is our 2nd attempt at Silo and this time was much better than our 1st experience. The wait was not as long to be seated, we didn't have to wait a long time for our food, food was as great (as it was the last time), and the place was not crowded and hectic. Ambiance is open and welcoming. Good place for a group.

We were seated right away at a high top around 10-15AM on a Sunday. There was a good crowd in there, but I'd definitely recommend a regular table if you have the option. Their high tops aren't really comfortable. The food was delicious! We started off with the apple strudel sharing plate - very sweet but so delicious! The pastry was warm and flaky with just enough apple filling! I had the farmers omelet - loaded with meats! Husband had the steak breakfast sandwich and said it was delicious. Both of us had their hashbrowns, which were crispy, flavorful and different from what I was expecting! I had the smores cold brew with oat milk and my husband had a bloody Maria to drink. Overall, great atmosphere, nice for a once in awhile treat!

We ordered five different dishes, hoping for variety and balance, but unfortunately every plate missed the mark either excessively salty or overwhelmingly sweet, with nothing hitting a pleasant middle ground. The ambiance was loud, and we were crammed in shoulder-to-shoulder like sardines, which made it hard to enjoy any kind of conversation or comfort. Service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter never checked in on us once, and it took multiple tries just to get his attention for simple things like napkins. When I finally asked another staff member for help, she looked visibly irritated just for having to relay the request. I still tipped the expected 20%, because let's be honest it feels mandatory now but this was more of a 5% experience at best. I genuinely don't understand how this place stays in business. It's a sad reflection of how people have been conditioned to lower their expectations and just "take it."

We discovered Silo a year ago for brunch and returned tonight for happy hour drinks & a lovely dinner. I have wanted to try a Rochester garbage plate since I first heard of them, and this one did not disappoint. It was an upscale version of what you'd get at Stevie T's, with shoestring fries, mac & cheese, and two smashburgers covered in a flavorful spicy meat sauce, onions, and scallions. I did not defeat it but I did have to take a LONG walk afterwards. Definitely a sometimes food. Hubby had the Farmer's Omelet and was quite pleased with it as well! Silo is worth the trip to Greece - and for us it's next to our hotel, so super convenient.

My first experience at Silo was mid, as the youths say. My husband and I arrived at 12:25, and by 12:50 still had no water. The table to our right was seated after us but served before us. The drink menu is vast and varied and I enjoyed the white mocha when it finally came. My husband got the campfire cold brew and it wasn't good. It tasted like chicory, which I guess would be okay in coffee if you were expecting it. I got the veggie omelette and my husband got the vegetable garden bowl. This menu is very meat heavy and there are limited options for vegetarians. Vegans, I am not sure how you'd eat here. The omelette was good, but the vegetables weren't incorporated into the eggs, just heaped in the middle. Not terrible, but for $15 you'd think your omelette would be out of this world. The crispy hash browns were delicious, and the sourdough toast a bit overcooked. The portions are large and I was full for a long time after eating this meal. Our server was friendly and it's not her fault that the drinks and food took forever. I think Silo's new business status means I need to give their service some time to catch up, then try it again in 6 months.

We got seated immediately no wait for a table for two, the brunch specials were amazing! I had a virgin Bloody Maria and it was exactly what I imagined. Nice and spicy and savory! The cinnamon rolls were to die for! I WILL be back to this beautiful fun brunch spot!

We were happy that this restaurant was close to our hotel, and we ended up having breakfast here twice during our stay. On our first visit, I had avocado toast with crispy fried hash browns, and on the second visit, I enjoyed lobster eggs benedict with a side of crispy hash browns and a bowl of fresh berries. Our breakfast food was delicious, and the service was friendly.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was packed, but we were seated after 20 minutes wait, which was good. We were five people so they sat us on the the taller tables, but they were extremely uncomfortable. The chairs were just so bad so we asked them if they could move us to a normal table, but unfortunately they couldn't but they were very nice about it and very attentive. The menu is decent, but the price is compared to other diners are higher, even though the food is very similar Their hashbrowns are very good 10 out of 10 recommend . We got normal black coffee, and smores latte. The lattes were very aesthetic but they were extremely sweet so we couldn't even finish half of it. The brisket and steak were pretty good. Overall, it was a nice experience, but we might not return

The food was delicious and the waitress was funny and very nice. The cinnamon rolls were a little hard/seemed old even though we got there right after they opened.

Easter Sunday sat down quick. Fantastic atmosphere, very quick service, staffed appropriately, great waitstaff, and good food. no idea why this is a 3.5. No complaints,I will be back.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY!! I am chronically ill and use a medical alert and response service dog to keep me safe and healthy. On August 8th, 2025 I went into Silo Brunch Bar for a date and was accompanied by my well trained service dog. My dog is in a close tight heel as we walk through the doors and goes straight into a down command while we wait for the host to seat us. She comes over and immediately asks for certification/paperwork which A.) is illegal to ask for and B.) doesn't exist in the USA. I politely explain this to her and explain that under the ADA she is allowed to ask 2 questions: 1.) is that a service dog required for a disability? Yes 2.) What tasks has he been trained to perform? Medical Alert and Response. She proceeds to seat us outside and my dog is not in a down next to my chair out of the way, being completely under control and starting to fall asleep. At no point was my dog disruptive, disobedient, or more than a foot away from me. While we look over the menus and have a nice conversation with an off duty employee that was admiring my dog, the manager soon makes his way over to our table. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. Demanding that I prove my dog is a service dog (which I've already told him what his tasks were and my dog hadn't done anything to discredit that he is a service dog). I again politely explain the laws and point him in the direction of ADA.gov website which he got even more rude and hostile saying he doesn't care about federal laws, he has a restaurant policy, and the he refuses to serve us because of my service dog. That is Discrimination.. my dog is here to keep me healthy and is no different from any other medical aid whether that be a wheelchair, oxygen tank, glucose monitor, etc. I depend on my service dog to keep me safe while I enjoy a beautiful date. The treatment I received from this establishment is absolutely disgusting, humiliating, and dehumanizing. I have filed a complaint with the D.O.J. and will be moving forward from there. No one should be treated how they treated me and if you have a loved one with a medical impairment or you yourself have one I do NOT recommend coming here. What they did was discrimination, illegal, and just flat out disgusting. I'm very disappointed in this restaurant, because I was looking forward to trying their food. Good to know they do not allow people with disabilities into their establishment. I have attached videos and pictures to show how my service dog behaves to show that there was absolutely 0 reason to kick us out besides that fact that I have a disability and am a service dog user.

Silo is a cute brunch spot in Greece. We've gone a few times and it's always very busy. We enjoy getting the breakfast nachos as an appetizer. The drink menu has some fun options as well. I've tried eggs benedict and pancakes and both were delicious. I didn't give 5 stars because it's rather expensive for what it is and there's often a wait. I haven't had a bad experience with service or food quality.

My friend and I ordered mocktails which we both enjoyed. We then ordered gochu belly buns and the braised beef French onion soup. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and make the soup gluten free! It was delicious. For our entrees, I ordered the sweet deal salad and my friend ordered the green curry stir fry. Mine wasn't anything crazy, tasted as I expected but it was still good. My friend, on the other hand, did not love her dish. She is a big curry person and said the sauce lacked flavor (which I tried and agreed with). The tofu was nice and crispy, dry though. There wasn't enough sauce in the dish. The mushrooms were the most flavorful.
