You simply cannot trap customers at your restaurant. For the second time in one week I am trapped in the drive thru at Siggys. Held hostage by the concrete barriers to exiting. Last week there were 3 cars in front of me and it took 30 minutes to get through the drive through. I figured that was an anomaly so I tried again this week. My wife and ate here today and enjoyed our lunch. I had the pastrami and my wife the grilled cheese on sourdough. Food was hot and delicious. We went through the drive thru which was very tight. If you have a truck or van, be careful. We will eat here again. read more

I just ordered a Reuben at the drive thru. Probably not a good idea to get to go, knew it might get a little soggy before I got home. It was literally horrible, big chunks of fatty pastrami in big chunks. Tasteless sauerkraut, yuk. Bread would have been good if not soggy (my fault). Ate about half and pitched the rest. On our way to Palm Desert from Carlsbad we stopped into Siggy's. It's the kind of place where you go up and order at the counter. That's fine with me. Then your food is brought to you. We had a basic breakfast, pancakes- $4.99 and scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon. Everything was really good and the service was EXCELLENT! They checked on us, made sure we had everything we needed and picked up plates. The owner, Siggy?, was waking around and actually brought us our food. NOT GOOD !! I went to Siggys murrieta about a week ago , the food was so good I wanted to take my wife back for the Chicken burrito. So I google Siggys to see what time they closed because it was around 9:00. When I google Siggys it asked me if I wanted Siggys Temecula so I was under the impression I was getting Siggys on Jefferson. But when we arrived they were close it was about 9:15. So my wife asked me if I google Siggys Temecula or Murrieta. Long story short I ended up at Siggys 2 , worst mistake of the evening . Totally NOT the same quality. I was very disappointed in the burrito. I was so bad if I could I would have returned to let them know how unhappy I was with the burrito.It was filled with sour cream hardly any meat. I tried to call and let them know how bad it was but they were closed . They should be ashamed !! It was horrible!! Thanks for having me drive 20 minutes to be totally pissed off !! Came by a little after 630am this morning. Drive thru... I got the bacon and eggs, pretty simple. I asked for extra crispy hash browns. I end up getting bacon that looked, smelled and tasted like it was reheated from yesterday. The scrambled eggs were burned and the toast was dried out except for where it was growing in butter. Hash browns were soggy in oil, not extra crispy. And the bacon... WTF? How you going to reheat bacon and serve it and think we won't notice. Crap food! Crap service. Overpriced. I've had their three meat breakfast burrito, fried zucchini, bacon cheese burger, house salad, and the dinner plate with chicken fried steak. The salad was a bit wet and caused my dressing to be runny but lettuce was crisp and fresh. The other food I have no complaints about, tasted great. Staff is friendly and the service is quick. They have a drive thru if you want to take it home and enjoy it. Prices are reasonable for how much food you receive. read more

Defiantly a "go to" place. Chilli cheese fries are a great side to any burger and everything always tastes so fresh. I haven't had a bad meal yet and did I mention they show football games? I don't know what else you can ask for, there is no down side to this Siggy's. read more

We've been eating here for years on our way to and from the desert but today's visit was disappointing. We ordered the patty melt (and noticed the prices have gone up), it tasted good due to the rye bread and cheese but where's the beef?? I'm not really fond of their food. Their food is inconstant as far as taste goes and portions. Most of the time they serve huge portions that's because the prices are a bit pricey. Couple of times I ordered their Fried Chicken and it looked like the chicken never reached adulthood. They were so tiny and it had a funky taste to it. I also had the tuna sandwich that tasted old and was served on a soggy bread. For the price I paid, it didn't even come with fries or any side for that matter. Check your orders! After many attempts we have gotten quite a few wrong orders from this location. When you go through the drive thru and get all the way back home only to find out your order is totally wrong it is not cool. I just took the latest order back inside and told the manager, at which point a waitress said she remembered that the cook made the wrong thing but she wasn't sure so...she gave us the order. Not sure? Check the receipt! They refunded me but didn't really seem to worried or apologetic so I think we will stop going here. read more

I have been to this restaurant for lunch before. Everything had been fine .But yesterday I went there for Breakfast. I ordered eggs, potatoes and toast. I went right home and I am glad I did. Not ten minutes after walking in the door I became violently ill. I had ALL the symptoms of Food Poisoning. I am still sick today. But what shocked me is the horrible attitude of this restaurant's management. They said Nobody else complained. Well Sorry why would I make this up?? I thought they would appreciate the information. I don't think I've ever met such a group of rude people in my life!! I think rudeness must be a requirement to work there. I've eaten here MANY times in the last 15 years, and have never encountered a friendly worker. No one knows how to smile ! Cheaper than a trip to Mexico!!! Assuming you want the diarrhea commonly associated with cooks that don't wash after using the bathroom. Was truly feeling adventurous and ordered the chili size. Brunch at siggys earlier was great. Was a little caught off guard when I walked in since you order at the counter ( I thought it was a sit down and order type of cafe) but the food came out way faster than I expected and with all the quality of your typical hometown diner if not better. Restaurant was clean and welcoming and the staff was very friendly. They even have a drive through which I would never have believed for homestyle cooking but they are so fast I am now a believer. read more

So sad to give this review. I've been coming to Siggy's since I was a kid. Over the years I've enjoyed tons of quick meals here and often through the drive thru. The quality and cleanliness has severely gone downhill. The drive thru takes forever and the staff hasn't been friendly in the last year or so. Inside is much worse - musty sewer smell through the dining area and cigarette smoke in the bathrooms. The quality of the food is awful and the prices are higher than ever. After being so disappointed at Applebee's I just asked for the bill and cancel the order, if u read the review I posted before about them, I was hungry! The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star rating was the friendly staff. The food during me and my boyfriends experience here was terrible. We came here for breakfast and both ordered a Denver omelet. What arrived at our table was most definitely NOT a Denver omelet. It was a pile of eggs and veggies topped with......a kraft cheese slice. Not even a MELTED kraft cheese slice, just a regular kraft...cheese...slice. Decided to get dinner tonight here and it was a bad decision. I've been to the Siggys in Murrieta and I remembered it was pretty good. I ordered a bacon avocado burger and they put cheese in it after I told them not to. The avocado was brown also. I didn't notice this until I got home which was a 15 min drive. The fries are under cooked and have no flavor. My husband got fried zucchini and they where a little better. His chili fries where disgusting. Not sure what where thinking and we will definitely NEVER come back. read more

Been coming here for years.... very good food and is reasonably priced. I have yet to get diarrhea from anything here which is unusual for me as I have IBS. The staff is friendly and courteous. Love the chicken fried steak sandwich but don't ask for gravy, they charge extra for everything. The beef dip is good too. A lot of meat & flavourful au jus. But they serve it with the worst coleslaw ever. Asked to sub & response was NO!!! They said sorry with no feeling or options. Didn't care. Their "customer service priority" went out the window. Everything is so gross here. The first time we went I ordered a chicken sandwich- it was a bland chunk of boiled meat with no flavor or seasoning and totally disgusting. The second time we tried breakfast and I choked down some overcooked dry eggs that I'm pretty sure were fake. Then, I guess because of the convenience of the drive through or maybe bc I'm a slow learner we tried again- and I attempted to eat chicken tenders and fries that were both oddly coated in loads of rosemary. It's so bad even my young children won't eat it and whenever we drive by they say "eww Sickys!" I'm pretty sure that's what they think it's really called! read more

I don't know why this place wasn't busy. The burger was juicy and had a little bit of grilled flavor. The bacon on it was crispy and not that gross soggy limp bacon. If you like steak fries you will like their fries. read more
