Reposting because I noticed my review was taken down. I brought my 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring (62k Miles) into Sieman's on 2/4/25 at noon because my engine was misfiring which caused it to stall. I got a call the same day, just a few hours later telling me my vehicle was ready for pick up. I came to retrieve my vehicle, paid the $700 bill and hit the highway.. on my way home from the dealership my engine stalled again once I attempted to accelerate to 60 mph, with a semi truck behind me. Very scary, and I feel extremely blessed to be here today. I immediately called the dealership to let them know I was on my way back because it was clear my engine had not been fixed. Tyler let me know that if no one is still there working and the entrances are blocked off by the time I arrived, to park my car outside the lot, leave my key fob in an envelope and they'd take a look at it the next day. Unacceptable response. A few minutes later I made it back to the dealership and had to park my car outside their property because the entrances were indeed blocked off as though no one was expecting me back. Tyler met me outside the lot a few minutes later and as we made the trek to the building from the blocked off entrance, he assured me he'd get me a nice rental car for the inconvenience which ended up being a 2010 Ford Taurus (170k miles). Any further updates on my vehicle over the next couple days from Tyler were less than pleasant due to poor customer service. Later I received a call from the master mechanic, Dave, apologizing for what happened-accepting full responsibility for my vehicle not being fixed the first time. I was informed that a spark plug designed for an entirely different make/model was put into my vehicle. This was done because he wanted to avoid waiting for the correct part to be ordered.. I find this interesting because I'd be paying the correct part price on my bill. I interpret this as shady and lazy. But.. He was extremely professional as well as humble and let me know that I would not be responsible for bill and would be refunded the full amount of what I'd paid. Marty delivered my vehicle back to me in Benton Harbor the following business day. Marty and Dave were definitely the redeeming factors and turned an awful experience into something slightly more pleasant. Update (03/02/2025): Unfortunately my engine still doesn't allow me to accelerate the way it used to before I brought it to SIEMANS, and the engine still misfires when I start it. I've purchased two vehicles from Siemans and have been very satisfied with both the purchase experience and the products. In my case I was looking for a specific make and model of a used car. I sat down with the salesperson and together we made a list of everything I wanted. About a week later I got a call telling me what they had available including year color, mileage and any features not on my list and the price. In both cases they were exactly what I wanted so I agreed to purchase them. Two days later I got a call telling me to come in, sign the papers and drive away, which I did. read more

Slow service, high priced, and poor internal communication sums it up. Called on a Monday to bring in a Ford Explorer for power steering failure. Scheduled an appointment for Friday at 3pm to bring it in. When I brought in the vehicle that service representative said they would "try" to get it looked at, but it was late in the afternoon so no promises - keep in mind they made the appointment telling me when to bring the vehicle in. Did research before bringing in and found there was a recall on the power steering issue which I let them know about. Got a call around 4 that they diagnosed the vehicle and found the issue for the power steering and it was covered under "extended warranty", but they found that the starter needed to be replaced as well and that would be $800. I was pretty shocked that it was so high since in my mind a starter is like $50 so I asked and they told me the starter is $600 and the labor is $200. Told them I would shop around on this one and get back to them. Found the part online for no more than $60 from many different parts suppliers and called Matt's Auto Care who quoted me $100 for the starter and $200 for the labor so I set-up an appointment at Matts to fix the issue. Ford called a little later saying the found the part at Napa for $400, but highly discouraged me from getting this one because it was Ford original parts. Slow Service - brought the car in on Friday for a scheduled issue with power steering, car was completed the next week on Wednesday. High Priced - $600 for a $60 starter - 10x markup. Poor Internal Communication - Scheduled me to come in at 3pm on a Friday, then gave me a hard time for bringing the vehicle in so late in the day on a Friday. I suggest only going to Siemens if you have to for warranty work or be prepared to wait a long time, pay high markups, and have mistakes in things since they are not communicating well internally. read more

I was traveling from out of town with my daughter's Mazda and had an issue with the hatchback of her CX-5. I had a ton of luggage with me and I couldn't get the hatch to shut after a short stop. After talking to a few other dealerships including where I bought the car I was in a panic. They were not willing to help or walk me through ideas or options. That is when I found a link to the closest Mazda dealership to me which was Siemans in Bridgeman. I talked to John Adams on the phone and he was extremely helpful with trying to troubleshoot with me and even offered to get me in to have it looked at right away. Thankfully Bridgeman wasn't far so I was able to bungee it shut and get there. When I arrived John got me right in and was so friendly and helpful. It was fixed quickly and I was on my way. So I wasn't going to make a review even though I told them I was from the first incident, but after the second one I had too. I called into Tyler like I do every month to check on a recall for my 2019 ram 2500. The recall was not available for 2019 trucks yet and would be at some point. I got Tyler on the phone and had him look up my vin number. He said "oh this is available, come bring it in (in 3 weeks) and we will do an inspection, order the parts, and do the recall of the fuel pump the next day. Set up an appointment for 3 weeks later.I asked him, are you sure? Explained how it not available for the 2019's but should be anytime. He assured me over and over again. And before I got off the phone, I asked him again? ARE YOU SURE? I borrowed my mothers vehicle, so I could drop it off because of course no loaner cars, took my daughter to school, then drove to the dealership with my girlfriend to drop the truck off. Then she had to drive me back home, get the other vehicle and then drive to work. When I arrived the service advisor said. So your here for XYZ, everything else besides the recall I came for. I said, no, I'm here for the fuel pump recall, the one you assured me could be done over and over again on the phone. He said, oh well reading here we can't do it for your truck. I said then why am I here? They said they would try and finagle the system and get it done for me. Called me back 6 hours later to tell me they couldn't do it and come pick my truck up. Went to get my truck the next day and it's sitting in the back when I come to pick it up at exactly the time I told them I would be there. Hand me my keys, go to start it, and the battery is dead. In 10 inches of snow. Jumped it after a while and said the batteries had to be bad, well 4 weeks later in snow and freezing temps it starts up fine every time. I obviously told them I was upset, but decided not to do a review because people mess up, and even though it was pure ignorance, it happens. Fast forward to today. Chrysler finally revised the recall and included all 2019 trucks. I got the service bulletin and called back to the dealership. Tyler fields the call from the receptionist. Doesn't know who I am, then I tell him who I am ", I'm the guy that brought the truck in for the recall that you guys scheduled and then you couldn't do it. He acts like he has no idea. So whatever. Looks up my information, says oh, there you are and 3 seconds later, CLICK. Not lost service on phone, the sound of a desktop phone hitting the cradle. I give them the benifit if the doubt, call back to receptionist, she transferred me over, rings and rings and rings phone gets picked up, and immediately CLICK. Hangs up. Call right back, oh they're all busy. I said I just called 10 seconds ago and was talking to Tyler. So I ask for a service manager, she said okay hold on. Boom voicemail. I call right back, said I didn't ask for voicemail I asked for the manager. Boom back to his voicemail. Called back again. No answer. Grab my store phone and call from that number that's a different area code. One ring, she answers. I said hello, now can I have the manager? Him jaws around and then the manger is on the phone, tell him I'm looking into the recall and I don't appreciate being hung up on, no apologies nothing. Finds the recall, the revision, and I said I want to do that. He said fine, we are currently on a waiting list until February. Mind you, 3 weeks ago they set me up fine and said it would be done in two days. The revision came out today. I said okay. Put me on the list, he says it's a temporary list? I said what's a temporary list? That makes no sense. He got My name and that's it, and I can bet I won't be getting a call in February for the recall. This is a classic example of incompetent employees messing up, then treating a customer with $150,000 worth of Chrysler vehicle like crap. I will remove this review once I get an apology from Tyler, the service manager, as well as the general manager and then them make it right. I've never seen such poor service from top to bottom across multiple interactions in my life. This was terrible. 3 weeks to set the inoculate appointment, no in the service area when arrived to drop off truck, no loaner car, can't do the recall we set an appointment for 3 weeks prior, truck in 10 inches of snow in the back of the building when coming to pick it up, I had to go find it. Manager wouldn't talk to me that day, truck batteries dead when picking up vehicle, no call bs k to see if I was satisfied after the "service", called today and get hung up on multiple times, lied to by service writers, lied to by service manager, lied to by receptionist. Seriously I don't make reviews often maybe once a year. But this, this is pure craziness. read more

I tried to be discrete, but I was unsuccessful searching their used car lot on my own. Therefore, I engaged Dan Zarobsky when I couldn't locate the used vehicle I had seen on their website. Dan was knowledgeable about the vehicle and took me down the road to a third-party detail shop, since the vehicle had only recently been taken in on a trade. Acknowledging my interest, Dan said he would have the vehicle detailed ASAP. While Sieman's is only 1/2 hour away, the vehicle I purchased, which better suited my needs, was located 1-1/2 hours from home. However, given Dan's consultative and low-pressure sales approach, he'll be the first person I contact the next time I'm searching for a new or used vehicle. In fact, brilliant minds think alike; I bumped into a close friend at the dealership who had traveled the same 1/2 hour to look at a new vehicle he had seen on their website. read more

I found this to be one of the best dealerships I have ever dealt with in my car buying life. Partly it is due to Ford having such a great new line up but I have now bought a car from them and have all my cars serviced there and I can say it is a great and friendly atmosphere. I recently purchased a Ford Fusion and they made the buying experience actually pleasant and easy. They did not try to "up sell" me with a bunch of junk and they wanted to ensure I was able to get the right car I wanted. In fact, since the car I was buying was a hybrid it was very hard to find (you could not even order one). They put me on a waiting list and true to their word they called me when they had one and trusted me to hold the car until I could get in. Our sales person was Tim Place and he did a fantastic job. All round, I usually hate going to car dealerships but not Siemans. They have made a customer for life out of me. I highly recommend both their service and their car buying experience. read more

I have used Siemans Ford exclusively for many years. Their sales people are friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy especially to a female. I use their service department exclusively as well. They know what I want and when I need something big they explain why and what the costs might be way ahead of time. I believe they appreciate that I do preventive maintenance on my vehicles with them and always give them a good vehicle in trade in. read more

I really like the way they do business from sales (Jon Webber) to financing. I was looking for a car a year ago and did not buy from Sieman's Ford but ended up buying from their Mazda dealership. A year later I was back looking for a used car for my daughter and contacted Jon regarding cars on they were advertising. He was helpful and responsive and the best was he was customer focused. He was not a fixated on making the deal that day like many other dealers who are afraid to let you leave the lot with out closing the sale. I will continue to contact Jon on my next car new or used. read more

Had my Mazda Miata towed to Seimans because I couldn't get it started . After it being there a week ,I get a phone call that the estimate was $1825.00. I called Tony the Mazda service manager and he told me they had 3 hours into it and price so far was $300.00. I was told when I arranged to have it looked at that they would call me and let me decide on anything over the $158.00 computer check . So I go to the stealership and wait ..and wait . Finally the "tech" tells me what he thinks is wrong with the car. At that point I decide that it's best to get my car out of there and agree to pay the $300. 00 I was quoted over the phone . Tony takes me back to the "rip off area " and he proceeds to type up the final bill. When he's done he doesn't answer me when I asked the final price. He just says "follow me over here to our cashier" ,he hands her a the invoice and walks away. She looks at and tells me "That will be $597.00 today sir. " I caught Tony as he was about to walk out the door and told him I agreed to pay $300.00 only . He goes back to his computer and starts typing bringing the total down to $290.00 . Says they forgot to take off the battery they didn't install. I got my car towed back home only to find that the "tech" broke an ignition relay and never told me or replaced it. read more

Had a wonderful experience with the service department at Siemans this morning. We're in the area on vacation and needed someone to look at our Mazda for "emergency" service; not only did Ron work us into what I'm sure was a busy morning schedule, but he took care of replacing a recalled part while they were at it. The car was still under warranty, so everything was free, and we were out in about an hour. They have a nice little kid-friendly waiting room off by itself, and one of the salesmen came by with Hot Wheels to give to our two little boys - what a sweet and generous surprise! I would give negative stars if able. Bought a remote start from them. Paid for it when ordered. Made 1pm appt to get it installed and was there for THREE HOURS. The service desk guy did NOT communicate very well. I hadn't brought the spare key and he said they needed it to do the install. I live 40 min from Siemens and had son bring it over. Service guy said I lost my place in line but the would have it done by 3 pm. At 3 pm service guy said they were JUST STARTING the install. I pushed them to get it done so I could leave by 4 pm because I had another appt for work. Went to pay and they charged me for the install AND the part (which I already paid for!). The manager spent 15 minutes talking with "someone" on the phone to "waive the fee"? That I already paid. I LITERALLY popped open my laptop, pulled up my credit card statement showing that I paid the $316 and STILL had to wait for mr Siemens or whoever the heck the mystery phone man was, to approve! I asked The guy who gave me the keys for some quick details on using the remote start and he said "I have no idea". Seriously the absolute worst experience ever!! read more

I like my truck. I'm hugely annoyed that these clowns turned around and sold my phone number to an after-market warranty sales company who will not stop plaguing me. If you like getting a robo-caller once a week calling you for a year with a "Last Notice" by all means by from them. There are other Ford dealers that won't do this. read more

Very knowledgeable staff! I called about a 2016 Ford Fusion and when I arrived at the dealership it was washed and parked up front, ready for my test drive. Although I liked the vehicle I found a different Fusion I liked better! Tom immediately got the keys and away I went for a drive. After deciding (on my own, absolutely no pressure from salesman) that was the vehicle I wanted, Tom immediately took it and had it washed, filled the gas tank and was ready to drive home by the time the paperwork was done! Tom went over the entire car with me so I was sure to know what options I had and how they all worked! My husband and I have purchased truck and a car here in the past couple of years and even though our salesman was awesome after that has been lackluster. I previously had a Mazda that I purchased from the SJ location, that always had great service from the service desk, to the mechanics, to check out. I continue to struggle with the less than excellent service department at the Bridgman location. The service desk guys are all polite but whenever you call you get put on hold numerous times before you actually get to talk to someone. When you finally talk to someone they don't pull up your account or familiarize themselves with what vehicle you are talking about. They are next to useless when it comes to helping take care of warranty issues. To top it off, I hope you are never in a hurry to get your car looked at, as the usual wait time is up to 2 weeks to get it in. My lease is up in a few months and after yet another frustrating day on the phone with service I am certainly considering purchasing somewhere else. read more
