Unprofessional and untrustworthy automotive repair shop. Rick and Rick Jr. cannot be trusted, and the AAA Motor club sign in front means absolutely nothing. AAA Motor club knows nothing about the type of business this is. This auto repair shop was recommended by AAA, had my vehicle for a couple of months, never ran a diagnostic test, left everything on in the vehicle bleeding my brand-new car battery to nothing, and asked for excessive and exploitative amount of money to repair my vehicle but could not explain in detail why the cost was extreme. And when I asked for the auto repair shop to return my vehicle, they (Risk's 66) dropped it off in the middle of the street in front of my home. I suggest avoiding this establishment at all costs and taking your vehicle somewhere else. read more

On an icy day, I drive my car into a 4.5 foot ditch to avoid a collision with another automobile. My girlfriend called AAA and Jason from Rick's was dispatched to respond. When he arrived, the ice was too much to do anything that evening so we decided it would work better to wait for the the three next afternoon. Even during this first evening, Jason showed a high degree of regard for me and my girlfriend, being concerned about our personal safety first, but also concern for the integrity of my vehicle as well. We got together the next day and he let me know his game plan, but also appreciably have me full disclosure that my car, due to the angle it was on, could roll. Once again, his genuine concern for my safety and my car's condition was evidently at the fore of his mind. By the time the sheriff arrived, Jason took 15 minutes to tow me out. He worked quickly, meticulously, and professionally. Here are some pictures, but they don't do the experience justice whatsoever. My car did nearly roll at one point, but that would have been my fault. In fact, it was Jason's experience and skill that prevented it from doing so. Once my car was fully on the pavement, I was able to drive it away. There is no known damage, either from the accident or from the tow. Call Rick's and ask for Jason! He was phenomenal! Last month my van broke down while passing through town on our way to Indianapolis. The young man who checked the engine and towed my van to the station was so friendly and really so helpful. Once at the station, Rick's managed to get my alternator fixed by the time we had to leave and at a fair price. They honestly made a sucky situation easier. read more

I stopped here to ask if they could just check my tire pressure because the gauge was reading low but does not tell me which tire. The guy there was SO nice. These guys are irresponsible, horrible mechanics. Our 2002 Grand Am wouldn't start so we had it towed here -- turns out (according to them at least) that the serpentine belt broke due to a bad pulley and the ignition cylinder needed to be replaced. After over $600 worth of parts and labor, it just broke down AGAIN today! Two days later! They just let my husband drive away with it still broken. NOW a different mechanic is telling us there's a host of other problems, and he's amazed the guys at Rick's just let us drive away with it in the condition it's in. That's being irresponsible. And a rip off. Definitely not recommended. read more

I have been taking my cars to Rick's for the past seven years. They have fixed problems ranging from minor wiring issues to transmission repair, always with excellent service and a complete explanation before the work began. Rick Jr. and Sean are my favorites, but really the whole team is good. My only complaint was they had trouble with a BMW battery fix, but later a BMW mechanic told me even he struggles with the particular issue we had, and their team fixed it for free once they figured it out on the 2nd try. I currently drive a 10 year-old Jeep with high mileage, but it runs almost like new thanks to their help. Good people. read more

Ricks has been my go to gas station/ repair shop for years. If my car needs to be looked at for any reason they have always been fairly prompt and speedy about any repairs that need to be done. Also depending on how much it costs a person to get their car repaired and what the problem is they also will work out a payment plan. Of course you have to have most of the the money up front but they will let you pay the rest at in increments. This is a very homey gas station/repair shop, and the staff recognizes a lot of their customers by name. They have a friendly atmosphere. read more

Jason the tow driver and Ricks 66 are pieces of shit! They towed my car and ran into something while it was on their truck. Causing a lot of damage to the side of my car. Then refused to take responsibility for their failure! I wouldn't take my sons go-cart there for repairs! Rick Jr obviously fell far from the tree. read more

We came out to our car this morning to discover we had a flat caused by a screw embedded in our tire. We were lucky that Rick's was open on Sundays, and that Nick was available to help. He had the hole in the tire plugged, and we were on our way in under 15 minutes for less than $10. Great service. read more

These guys are great. Friendly attentive service. Used them a few times to have a car towed and they were fast and efficient.

My battery died, so I called my road service plan provider and they sent a truck from Rick's. Service was promised between 35-60 minutes. The truck arrived in 45. The tech, Mike, was very friendly and quickly began charging the dead battery. After a couple of minutes, he had me try to start the car and it fired up with no problem. Happily, it was under warranty and I had the time to go get it replaced. I mentioned that I was concerned about a tire that had lost some air. He took a good look and said there were no obvious structural issues. Without my asking, he filled it, and the three other tires to my preferred PSI! If I encounter any problems on the road, I will not hesitate to use Rick's again. read more

We took our vehicle in for a radiator flush. After not hearing back the following morning and several calls to them, they called in the afternoon saying that the vehicle wouldn't start and we needed a new alternator. Funny thing was that the vehicle had always started prior to leaving it with them. Told them not to do anything else and we took the vehicle back after paying for the flush. Took it to a recommended mechanic and found out they hadn't flushed the radiator and whatever they did to it we needed a new battery (had just replaced it in the past year) and alternator. I would never recommend taking your vehicle to them. read more
