Highway Emergency!!! So when one is preparing for a long…read moredrive they usually take their care in to be serviced and get the ok on everything. That is what I did and so days later I would never expect to have a blowout on the expressway. Which leads me to US tire a choice that roadside assistance provided and was a true hero for me this past Friday. PJ and Nathan were the two guys that assisted me with my car. By the time I arrived I was somewhat cool on the outside but I was all nerves on the inside. PJ took his time and carefully explained the next steps and after consultation with Nathan the best cost plan. US tires saved the day. Accidents and delays happen but their work and customer service got me safely back on the road in a couple of hours. Thank you guys. Customer Service: 5 stars Cost: 5 stars reasonable Waiting Area: They have water and coffee, a working TV and restroom

I called around comparing prices before I came to this place. I had four tires with four sensors I…read morepurchased and they said they could program and install them. The price was good so I chose them to do the job. When I got there I waited an work entire shift for them to install my tires. They weren't even that busy. The wait was ridiculous. They installed my tires but failed to program my sensors. As soon as I drove off I noticed they weren't programmed so I went back they had me come back another day just to wait forever again. They didn't program them and they still aren't programmed. I'm so disappointed they gave me false information over the phone just to get my business. If they couldn't program my sensors they should have told me before they installed the tires so I could have chosen to go elsewhere. I will never go back to them nor will I ever recommend this place anyone. The installer was nice but the old guy behind the counter has a bad attitude. Poor customer service, if I could have gave them no stars I would have!

My experience here is like having a front row seat on the degradation of everything. Let me start…read morewith saying I am to blame for part of this situation as I let this go on for way too long. In May I was fishing at the Lake County Fair Grounds and was told to start cleaning up as they were going to lock the gates to the park in 10 minutes. I got in my car which I just got back from the performance shop where they had the car for almost a year. Almost just as long as I owned the car. I go and start the car and the battery was dead. No big deal as I said to myself I will just Uber home and come back the next day. I couldn't get a ride the next day so another day went by and sure enough I waited to long and the car got towed from the fairgrounds and taken to 1st Response where they held the car. Another few days had passed and I go and try and get the car and I was told $950 to get the car. I had just recently been laid off so money has been tight. I have never had a car towed and really didn't know how expensive the storage fees would be. They told me I needed to first go to lake county and get a tow release form ($75) and then pay the $950 and they would release my car from captivity. Turns out I needed to have my registration with me which was in the car before they could give me the tow release form. They would not take my phone with their website as proof. I went home as they were closing and printed the registration and brought it back two days later. They would not take a printed copy and needed the original which was in the car at 1st Response. I go back to 1st Response to get the registration out of the car and they tell me it is now $1300 to get the car from them. At this point, I am beyond frustrated and leave forgetting the registration in the car. Which I have not seen the car since they have had it. A few more days go by and I drive back to 1st Response and I don't know if I caught them at a bad time but I didn't see anyone and I am so pissed off that I just leave and say screw it. My brother had just died of Cancer recently at 34, my fiancé was cheating on me as my brother was dying, and my two year old son was just diagnosed with autism, and I have no job. I needed help as I was spiraling into depression. I let weeks go by as I could barely get myself out of bed and every day I told myself to go take care of the car and get it from them. I really didn't have the money but I took from my retirement account to finally get this car out of there. It's hard to write this. I went there and told them I want my car back and he tells me that they sold my Camaro. I was taken back because I didn't know they could do this. This car only had 14,000 miles on it and the previous owner spent 30 grand on performance parts and labor. I'm instantly out 20 grand and I still owe 20 grand on the car. I called the police and they told me that they couldn't do anything, and even told me to stay away from there. Like I'm stalking the business when I was literally there for 2 minutes yesterday when he told me he sold the car and then today with the police telling me that I am wrong and that It was his to sell. I even had a laptop from my old job to return and my fishing gear in the car which they told me wasn't mine anymore. I share fault in this but I was drowning and seizing my dream car, holding it hostage, and wrecking me mentally and financially should be wrong. Why couldn't they have just towed it to my house and then billed me. They don't take debit or credit cards either because they probably lie on their taxes every year. We just keep getting screwed and there is nothing we can do. Thank you and god bless you. Steve
