Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Son took over and now its a mess. Took my vehicle there multiple times and paid over 800 dollars and still have the same issue. Took my new battery outta my van and replaced it with an older one and even broke my buttons on my driver's side door where none of that works. So costed me money to have my van more messed up then what it was, along with having a rental for about a month till they could figure out whats wrong, but obviously barely got it going to just get their money. Definitely took advantage of me being a woman and a single mother, not knowing mych about vehicles. Never recommend this place again. read more

Bailey's Auto Repair is a great family owned business. The prices are honest. They put new brakes and rotors on. I supplied the high beam bulbs, and they not only installed them but cleaned the headlight covers. It was done in one afternoon. Fast, great service! read more

I had a braking issue that was repaired without busting my budget. I was safely back on the road in no time.

Let me tell y'all, we had an emergency with our car and the folks over here are EXCELLENT ! Great turn around time, great price and above and beyond customer service. I will never go anywhere else. read more

I will summarize this review to keep it short - email me if you want details and/or pics. I took my car to Bailey's for a major repair last summer that they said would take 3 weeks. It ended up taking 6 weeks and there was scant communication from them about the delays. Some communication was through my daughter, who was not taken seriously and who was misled when she talked to them. The final charge was 10% greater than their estimate, which was already 20% greater than competitor's estimates, and again, there had been no communication about the increases. I asked for the replaced parts to be given to me upon completion and they weren't. When the car was finally delivered, it had a substantial new dent in the body, warning lights were on (which they would not fix), bolts were not tightened, a fluid reservoir was installed at about a 45-degree angle to how it was supposed to be installed, and incorrectly-sized bolts were stripped into nuts just to make it look like they were installed. Within 24 hours of getting the car, it broke down mid-traffic because of a poorly installed retaining ring, and had to be towed back to them. After 6 months, the engine oil is foaming indicating bad seals in the new (used) engine. In summary, I am close to 60 years old, have had a lot of cars and have seen a lot of mechanics along the way. Bailey's is the worst mechanic I have ever used. Their time and cost estimates are terrible, their communication and customer service is terrible (and not serious to women), and the quality of their work is absolutely pathetic. Avoid them at all costs. read more

My motor went out on driver side of my truck and I took my vehicle to Bailey on liberty very nice ppl. Sharon lax

I took my to be fixed and they didn't fix it, they fixed stuff that I didn't need done, they put used parts and I thought they were new. I took it back the second time for the same problem and once again they fixed something that didn't need to be fixed. They gave me an oil change that I told them before that I didn't need, my truck is still having the same issues that I originally took to get fixed. I went to another mechanic and they checked everything on my car and told me that my oil hadn't been changed. so always get a second opinion when using this shop. read more

My parents have been doing business with Baileys for years and we have been taking our truck there for awhile now too. They always do a really good job in a timely manner and they don't do anything unnecessary. I have happily recommended them to others. read more

I've been with Baileys for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed with their service. They don't overcharge or do unneeded service. Very good people you can trust. Thank you. read more

Bailey's Auto was an amazing experience for me. I had tried to replace my serpentine belt when I realized that my tensioner pulley was broken and missing. When I tried to remove the bolt to replace the pulley the bolt snapped in two and I realized that I needed a mechanic. I was nervous because I have not had very good experiences at the other auto mechanics I have tried in this area. So I started making calls and asking for very "ballpark" estimates on what it would cost to fix the problem and replace the belt. As I explained what I had done to the guy at Baileys, he finished my sentence knowing exactly what must have happened. There ballpark figure was much less than the other places I had called. On top of all that I asked if I could possibly have the work done by the next day since I needed it for work and he replied that if I could get it in within the next 20 minutes they would have it done in the same day. It was already 3:30! The job ended up being a little bit more complicated than expected but I wasn't surprised since my ol' '96 Buick has had a rough go of it. When they realized this, they called me with a fair quote and an explanation of the problem and steps to fix it. He said that he should be able to have it done by 9:30am the next morning which was plenty of time for me to make it to work. The next morning I got the call that the car was ready right on time and said that I would be over as soon as I could find a ride. He asked me where I lived and if I would like him to pick me up and bring me to the shop!! I accepted the offer and he showed up promptly to pick me up. When we got to the shop he showed me what had been done and even gave me advice on how to fix a different issue myself. Then he went over the bill and explained everything. He had replaced a part for free because I had a plastic piece which tends to crack and he put a metal one in its place. The job had been done very well and the bill was about half of what the other shops' "ballpark" estimates where. LONG-SHORT: I was very happy with my experience at Baileys and I felt treated fairly, kindly, and honestly. If you are looking for a good auto mechanic and are worried about being taken advantage of: give Baileys a call! Thanks Baileys for a great experience! read more

I've been going to Baileys for more than 10 years. It was recommended to me by friend of the family. They have been accurate on their quotes, they have suggested I hold off on repairs when it made sense to do so. My son's car has been well cared for by them too. I've had major repairs to tires and oil changes all done by them. Always happy with Don Bailey and lead mechanic Mike. Very happy. read more
