In a word -- Aaaaaaaamazing! Thankfully, there is no line and we were able to drive up into the empty bay. After a friendly and courteous greeting and inquiry re: needs, Matt and his crack team get us in and out in less than 30 minutes -- more like 20, to be exact. From centering to exiting, Matt explains each step of the process; the computer monitor clearly lists the services you are charged for; it also swings around, allowing you to view in real time, who is under your vehicle and what is being done; they are in constant communication with each other, via verbal calls and echo verification. I appreciate how the 3 man team works quickly, efficiently and most importantly safely. I am at ease, knowing that they are paying attention to the tasks in progress, are NOT on their phones, you see/hear them at all times. EVERYONE is safe. Can you tell how important "safety" is?! Especially for these gainfully employed young men who (most definitely are not 'ne'er do wells') showed up for work and have their whole lives ahead of them! If you are asked to turn the vehicle and it's wipers on/off, they provide a reasonable rationale behind it. Matt kindly reset the vehicle's service reminder for us, and gave us the window sticker reminder (listing recommended mileage & oil type replacement) -- Excellent! Some people want conversation, that's not why we're there. I appreciate how they respect our time -- No inane conversation/questions about the weather or invasive questions re: where are you from, what you're up to/plans are. Professional courtesy up front, state your business, then Matt and his team go all in like BOSSES. After the oil is changed, you are shown the new oil level, so you have eyes on it and have confidence in their work. After applying the online coupon, it was $133.73 for Daughter's Sport edition SUV: fluids topped off, filthy air filter changed out, 4qts full synthetic oil, multiple point safety check/verification in under 30 minutes. Pricey? Perhaps, but a more than fair price for SAFE, efficient, no-frills/no-pressure sales pitches. The time saved is WORTH IT! From a cynical health care professional in a very time driven, every detail is crucial role -- stellar, impressive work ethic/flow! Most I have ever paid for an oil change and I always do full synthetic. If you do get full synthetic check your owners manual or just google, you do not need to change it in 3,000 miles like their sticker says. I do not appreciate the service specifically Michael gave. Micheal was the tech above, from the start he was asking me my tire pressure and looking at my tires' max rated pressure to tell me what he thought it should be. As he was looking I mentioned it should be 35 psi and was opening to show him the information sticker in my door jam. His response before my door barely moved was that you actually are supposed to follow the tires specs, which is wrong. I might be a woman which caused him to look down upon me but I worked in the diesel mechanic industry, I know how cars work especially something as simple as tire pressure even though Micheal doesn't seem to. I shortly responded "well they are currently at 40 psi so they are fine", I have not adjusted my tire pressure down from the winter yet due to being busy, the same reason I came to valvoline get my oil changed. From there I know he would not be able to check my washer fluid level due to it being built into the side of my engine that you can not see, he entered it as checked-OK, I have not filled it since December. A respectable oil change place tops off the washer fluid. They finish changing my oil and I go home. The next day on my way to work I notice 2/3 of the way to work I smell slight burning oil, which if I was none the wiser would cause me to worry that my car was leaking oil a day after getting an oil change at vavoline. I will give credit, it is not leaking as I did go under my car today to check. Now, I am aware my vehicle doesn't have a good engine filter set up but the amount of oil left on the undercarriage of my vehicle was sloppy. Only took me 30 seconds to wipe down with a shop towel after I got under but that is a 30 seconds that should have been taken by Glenn, the tech in the pit, to have respect for his workmanship. The final straw though in this unprofessional and overpriced oil change is today, when I opened my hood to work on my car I noticed that Micheal left a dirty shop towel inside of my engine compartment. Micheal needs additional training. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I went AFTER my boyfriend called and told me they said they could check for the warranty without a phone number (his old number was on the account and we couldn't remember it) so I arrive and there is nobody up front to help me. There are 2 workers in an office directly across from me, one on his phone and one on the computer. Neither bothered to acknowledge me for 3-4 minutes so I had to yell to be their attention. That's when I was approached by James who acted like I interrupted his break or something. I explained my situation and he said "I can't look up names , it's gonna pull up everyone in the country with that name." In a very rude tone. So I showed him a picture of the tire and asked if it could be patched. He reacted as if it was a stupid question and said that it was way too big to be patched. I asked if they had the same tire in stock and he asked me where the truck was. So we walked to it and he said they don't keep those tires in stock I would have to special order it and that would take days. I then asked if he could at least put the spare on so I wasn't driving on a literal wire brush. And he said "they could but it would be at least two hours till they got to me." Everything just sounded like he was bothered by me and wasn't wanting to help me at all. So I went to discount tire down the road where I got great customer service and a really good deal on 4 new tires. Your employees need to do better.

We ended up not having the repairs done as they were far more than the car was worth. Zac was honest, straightforward and incredibly helpful in our situation. Dave's Garage not only helped us figure out the best plan of action moving forward, they did not charge us for the diagnosis of the problem. They helped us figure out what to do with the vehicle and even helped us remove the license plates so the car could be donated. I called this place yesterday to get a transmission diagnostic done. Their website says they do…read moretransmission work. The person I spoke with on the phone quoted me a price for the diagnostic. I had to pay a tow truck to take me there today. As soon as the tow driver was unloading my vehicle, the manager comes running outside and says to stop. His reasoning was that they don't do transmission work. I told him I am not there to get my transmission fixed. I was there for a diagnostic. He said that they can't do it because they can't fix it and the work they would need to do for a diagnostic would run over $500. That was 4x the amount they quoted me over the phone. So, I paid to have my vehicle towed there for nothing. And the. I had to pay again for a second tow to a reputable shop. It comes down to this was either an inept person handling the phone, or trying to gouge me for a lot more money. I do not recommend anyone going here for anything. Thank you for wasting my time and my money.
