I think cannons automotive has the best customer service, but cannons has the best interest for you and your car. consistently they have helped me through maintenance battles while still being able to afford other things in life. thanks cannons. read more

They have a very nice and Friendly atmosphere witch to me it has no value because when it comes to fixing my car I got nothing. it is better just to go and buy another old car on the side of the road before coming to these places and spend thousands of dollars for a nice smile. I had to pay near $800 for a couple hours of labor plus near $400 in parts and Nothing got fix.My car got out of there the same way it was when it got in there. read more

A bunch of crooks, had wiring "fixed" then my car started to fail again took it back and "fixed" it again adding a $500 diagnostic charge for something that any OBD II scanner could find, A crankshaft position sensor a $25 dollar part and they wanted another $700 to install it; complete fucking joke. read more

Don't go here they have the highest prices I've ever seen. and up charge you on everything they quoted me 3800 to fix my car. I didn't it myself for 200. told me I needed 2000 dollars worth of parts. and charged me 1300 for the estimate. read more

First time using Cannons Automotive. Very easy to schedule an appointment. Excellent customer service. They were ready for me when I arrived. They explained everything so I could understand and never once tried to pressure me. They provided me with an extremely detailed list of items I could consider in the future and a specific times/mileage. They also texted me details including pictures of what they did. I will definitely be back for any car repair needs. Extremely friendly people! read more

Overpriced and subpar repairs. I should have just took my car to the dealership for repairs. The total cost for the repairs was $4,800. And I had to take it back to them because the vehicle was not running right after the repairs. I just got a quote from the dealership for the repairs and they quoted me $3,500. I will never go back to his place and I suggest no one else go to this place. Plus two months later my car is broke down because I'm pretty sure they left something loose. read more

Just got an oil change and the quality is always on point. I also appreciate the vehicle inspection list for future services that may need to be done. The front counter (customer service) is always very nice and pleasant. read more

Terrible customer service and unprofessional owner. Will never return. Would only take cash even tho there is a credit card machine on counter. read more

I have a wonderful experience every time I go to Cannon's. The receptionists are absolutely beautiful souls. I took my 3 year old daughter in today. They were great with her! They didn't mind her being loud or running around. They even participated in helping her scare one of the young technicians. They even remembered the name we call my car when it was finish so my daughter knew what was going on since "Jellybean had to see the doctor!" By far the best experience I've ever had in my 18 years of driving and having cars serviced. Thank you for making life simpler in the smallest of ways for a single mom. It is appreciated more than you guys know! Also, the $10 oil changes for the life of my car are a blessing! read more

Honest integrity professionalism you'll find all of these things here and I came from out of town and was recommended to them from a friend and I was not disappointed just a good old fashion family owned business fair pricing and stellar service I would recommend anyone to check this place out before going anywhere else a special thank you to Hayden for getting my truck back up on the road and Chasity was extremely kind and knowledgeable I would not take my truck anywhere else read more

They did what I asked them to do, and I have no complaints about the work on my truck. However, I had an interlock device on my truck and I both explained and left in writing specific instructions on how to use it. A simple three-step, Blow, Inhale, Blow process ... They insisted on using my truck to take me back to my hotel while I waited for them to work on it. Subsequently, the attendant left my instructions laying on the counter as we left. She locked my device up and normally it would have cost $75 to have it reset, but I explained it to the Interlock device company and they let it slide. I guess they looked a the video to confirm. But, still. It's not complicated. Anyways, if it were not for that, everything else went smoothly and it was about what I expected to pay. read more

We are on vacation and 200 miles from home we broke down. Cannons quickly sent a tow truck and gave us a ride. They worked us in and quickly diagnosed our car. They are truly are the kindest people we could've delt with. Thanks Cannons! From, The Wilson Family read more

I got the appointment on the day and time I requested. Car was serviced quickly and efficiently.

I had my car towed here when my clutch went out on the highway because they were a AAA-approved location (I called AAA for the tow) and they were nearby. I was charged $140 for them to essentially just look at the vehicle (I've never been charged by my mechanic in Chicago for this) and then quoted $3400 in repairs, which would mean that I needed to buy a new car as it is more than the value of the vehicle and way more than I could afford to spend. I was told that it would probably be okay to drive back to Chicago (no guarantees, granted, but heck, it might run just fine for a whole year as far as we know!), so I risked it. The clutch stopped working again less than a half hour after I left their shop and I had to pull over on the side of a busy highway in Gary, IN and call another tow truck to take it back to Chicago. Another 5 hours of my life...and glad I spent that $140 just to risk getting into an accident! I had the car towed to my mechanic in Chicago, who did a thorough check on the car (for free) and quoted me HALF the price that Cannon quoted to replace MORE parts with original factory parts (they included a brand new clutch). Beyond this, I called a mechanic friend in Cincinnati and described my issues and he quoted me within $200 of the Chicago quote without me telling him about the other quotes. Both the Chicago and Cincinnati mechanics balked when I told them the $3400 quote. The added stress and anxiety of thinking I had to replace my car for the past two days--which I currently cannot afford and which I very much need for my job--has just left me flat out furious. Avoid this place at all costs. I wish I'd had time to read the other reviews before I let my car be towed there. I'm pretty sure I've never written a negative review on Yelp, but this was worth warning people about. read more

Super professional, high quality service as always! Timely and offered their loaner car for me to use to go to work while they serviced my car. Thank you Cannon's! read more

I took my old Jeep to Cannon's for a tune-up. I will admit, they did a good job, they were honest and upfront, and they didn't do any extra work without asking me first. But it still ended up costing me almost $600! For a tune-up! I heard that Cannon's costs more than other shops, but it's worth it for the excellent work and customer service. I have an inkling though, if I had a man with me they wouldn't have charged me so much. Every guy I told about my experience was baffled by how much I was charged. So, if you've got a newer car and enough savings to cover any emergency maintenance, then Cannon's is a great place to go. I think I'll keep looking for a good mechanic. read more

This place is joke. I'm really unhappy with there services. Charging me 70 dollars just to look at my vehicle and telling my my transmission is bad when it just needs an linkage adjustment in the clutch.. not happy read more

Incredible service !!! The most reliable place in town!

Nice staff but super SLOW and EXPENSIVE service. Yes, they do a good job but I honestly think their prices are completely insane. From what I've heard, they'll be the nicest people in the world to the elderly but that's only so they can rip them off in the long run. Awful. read more

I took my F150 there and they gave me an estimate of $880 for spark plugs and wires, that is an outrage price my all means. so I called around and found another place that would do the same work for $190.00, the service at the other place was excellent and quick. read more

Only got an oil change. so far i feel all is well. The only reason for the four stars is that I would rather have my tires aired, than a vacuum. Now my low tire light is on, and it's the spare... I'm wondering what may happen if I go back in to have them aired. read more

Called to get a "Rough Estimate" to get a clutch replaced on my car (obviously if the clutch is out the car does not move) and I was asked can I drive the vehicle there (hmm let that marinate) first red flag that they have no clue what they are doing. I explained that, then was told we can tow your vehicle here, and look at the vehicle (keep in mind, I'm looking for a rough estimate) and they say if you get it repaired here, we will waive the towing fee's. That's great but in order for me to say sure you can fix my car, I need to know a "rough" amount so I can see if it is within my budget...I'm not just going to say here... tow my vehicle there, look at it, and you give me a ridiculous estimate for repair, then have to have you tow the car back to my place and pay you x amount of dollars (which would more than likely be inflated due to not getting service done there). Funny how all these other companies in your surrounding area can give a rough estimate over the phone...a couple gave an exact estimate. Definitely will not get repairs done here nor recommend this place. read more
