Family owned, no corporate up sell gimmicks. They are trustworthy, they provide great customer service, great communication, DEPENDABLE, great team and they stand firm behind their work. Ask any question about the repair or your vehicle and they will answer it. Their repairs exceed OEM specs. They are truly a shop that wants to help their customers and make sure they are in a safe dependable vehicle. I could go on and on about their work and how great of individuals they are. Once you take your vehicle to them, you won't be taking it anywhere else. They are also very reasonable with their prices, just to add on to all of the other boxes they check!

We only found out because a friend of ours saw our vehicle on a tow truck bed and our friend called us. The lady at stans who i spoke to assumed that the vehicle was totaled and gave the permission to have the vehicle released to the auction company without notifiying us or having us sign. We still had personal property in the vehicle and not given notice to come clean out the car. We had not even received the police report or a call from insurance yet! First and last time using Stans! I've had three expensive repairs done in the last few months, and they all feel like the prices were high. And not being able to see what I paid makes a question and trust the service that I'm getting. Keep in mind the work they do has always been satisfactory. But something just doesn't sit right, not being able to see what I'm being charged. When I asked, they told me that I should never have been able to receive an itemized bill. From what I understand, this is wrong. Everything I read online tells me that I should receive an itemized bill, and other mechanics that I called to inquire said the same. I had my BMW towed to Main due to it overheating after they ran an unnecessary diagnostic and scan…read morethey told me my water pump had gone bad 1900 to have it replaced that was including diagnostic and towing they called me back thinking it was done wrong they told me the thermostat was also bad and they needed another 800 to replace it I had just had the thermostat replaced in December it should of been under warranty nope they gave me the that the thermostat went bad because of the the engine overheating and that BMW would not make good needless to say Main does not make good on there 1 year warranty on parts and labor I won't be taking any of my vehicles there ever again I also found out they way over charge for there parts and labor I could of took it to another garage and had it done for half the price and had the same 1 year warranty on parts and labor sorry main ya I drive a BMW but it does not mean I'm made of money
