Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business with him. I would not recommend buying a battery from this guy or having him install it. When the battery failed after only three months, it should have been replaced for free under warranty. However, because Scotty purchased it under his account, Advance Auto wouldn't replace it for me. Even though I had already removed the bad battery myself, he still tried to charge me $122 just to install the replacement. My tires were worn unevenly when I arrived because of a previous alignment issue, but I paid a shop to fix this last year (which I told him), so this was entirely unexpected. I would not have bought the warranty if I they had mentioned this before I gave them all my savings. I might not have even bought a whole new set of tires until I could have gotten the alignment fixed. I also didn't feel respected generally during my visit as a young woman. I fumbled very briefly (~5 seconds) connecting the pen magnetically back to the top of the keypad after signing something, and he took it out of my hand and did for me (rude, first of all) and said "it's a magnet." in what I felt was a very demeaning way. I've heard good things about this shop in general, but my experience with Colton felt very scammy and disrespectful.
