So I chose to order online , ordered wings we liked the bbq and teriyaki , lemon pepper was cool , the Parmesan wings were flavorful but I would maybe ask for extra parm depending on preferences. The fries were fire, there is however one slight pet peeve that people who don't like fees and things. If you order online the tip is standardized and at moment of order. After reflecting i didn't find it too much of an inconvenience because the food is good, but others might not per se find a tip as an entitlement, rather a token of appreciation. The food here has always been incredible. I get the veggie burger, and it's always perfectly cooked, the fries are crispy, and the homemade sauces are worth adding on. I tried the churros once, and while they were good, I was wishing for some ice cream to dip them in. I mentioned it, and they say they're adding a soft serve machine (though it's backordered now). The chicken sandwich was so good. By the time I got home the presentation looked sloppy but that's how I knew it was going to be good. They stuff your sandwich with two thighs, aioli, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and cheese. The bun is so good too. The fries are seasoned and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Mike, the founder and owner of Sideshow, personally coordinated and delivered our order. Communication flowed quickly and clearly. I was very happy to receive his timely delivery -- not too early to cause the food to get cold before serving and not too late to make me nervous. It's a delicate balance. The lemonades were beautiful (yellow, blue, and light orange) and festive. They tasted great, not too sweet, and added a playfulness to our event. Nice touch. So tender and juicy and really flavorful! The bun is soft and holds the sandwich well. The burger was pretty good, it was hefty and messy, the way a burger should be. To me it could have used a bit more seasoning on the patties. The fries were also pretty good, I probably prefer the plain over the garlic fries. The staff was really nice and the wait for the food wasn't too long. They have outdoor dining but we decided to take ours home. I introduced my friends to this place for lunch, since they have a large outdoor seating. They enjoyed their food and visit. I ordered the Hyphy fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich is huge. The fried chicken is a nice large piece, served in half. This made the sandwich huge for a one bite person. I found the spicy cole slaw not that spicy. But it was indeed a good sandwich. The crinkle cut fries were excellent. It tasted like Jack in the box seasoned curly fries. Just as I hope to expect from my last time I came here years ago. We ordered the Sideshow burger and the double patty burger with bacon ( can't remember the name of it.) Both were very good. I especially liked the sauce-- good spices and flavor. The garlic fries were super yummy. My hubby subbed a salad for his fries. So nice with cucumbers, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, and crispy lettuce mix. The salad dressing was really fresh, probably homemade. The only suggestion I might give them would be to add a bit of salt to the patty before cooking it. All in all, I give Sideshow 4 stars. I think I'm learning that it's hard to mess up chicken sandwiches - I cook, but I don't make these at home and have never attempted. The bun was nice and buttery, the chicken was crispy without an overload of breading, and the garlic fries were garlicky goodness. I came on a Saturday, and finding parking was easy for me in the later afternoon. The time of day we got here was nice because there were still some sunny spots. The highlights were the hyphy chicken sandwich although advertised as spicy, we found it more of a "spices" vs " spicy" sandwich. This time I got the Nashville hot honey wings and garlic fries. They were the wings were the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. They came with this yummy creamy sauce but I preferred to get all the spices on max. The garlic fries lemme tell you were GARLIC fries. If you don't like garlic on your garlic fries, don't get these.
