Cherry lime frozen lemonade
Domonique O.

Been a fan of Tease since they were in Oakland. When I heard they moved to Public Market I had to try it out on a good Sunday. People were around placing orders, that makes me excited that people still supporting. Ordered on a kiosk which I liked because I know I have full control of my order. The person was there to answer any questions. Ordered the brussels sprouts which were a bit heavy on the vinegar. Then I had the honey fried chicken and garlic noodles. The chicken was dry not juicy or very flavorful. Now those noodles!!!! I will be back ASAP for those. The garlic was perfect and I think it had cheese on them, 20/10!! Wings were crispy and flavorful however the fries tasted like paper. Ended my meal with a cherry lime frozen lemonade which was tasty. Overall my meal was 8/10 would recommend

First time at this location but overall good experience. Customer service was great, ordering process was quick and easy, and the food was good. The Cajun fish and fries and the wings and fries were both flavorful and filling. It wasn't too busy when we first arrived but by the time our food was ready, the line started to form.

The Emeryville Public Market has lots of options but if you're craving Creole/Cajun goodness, look no further. While you self-order, staff was friendly and asked if there were questions. The wait will be worth it once you dig into your meal which was a very large portion I didn't expect. The Crispy Cajun fish did not disappoint from the crispy breading to the succulent fish. The garlic noodles were rich. This is part of a busy food court so seating will be at a premium. My daughter saved our seats while I queued up.

I stopped by Emeryville Marketplace to get something to eat. This place looked like the best choice, and I was right. I had one of the chicken sandwiches, it was really good and a nice size not small at all . I could barely finish it because I got full,l because of the fries added. It came with Cajun fries, and the portion nice! I don't eat fried food that often, but this was a good exception. worth it. I also got one of those iced drinks and let one of the workers pick the flavor for me. It was hella good too. For the price, this was better than the other places I've tried here, and it tasted good too. I recommend . Tnx Tease!

Honey Fried Chicken Mac

WOW. THE BEST MAC AND CHEESE I'VE EVER HAD. So creamy and flavorful and delicious, everyone was jealous of my order. Service was so kind and helpful. Wish there were more locations!

For first impressions, the service was great and friendly. Food was served generally quite fast so theres no complaint about efficiency. For the food, I'd say the chicken was a bit more on the dry side and I fully expected chicken thighs because of the price, but the meat used was chicken breast. The garlic noodles themselves were on the better side as the fragrant aroma of garlic was instantly apparent and the noodles have a perfect chew to them. Sadly, the sauce covering the noodles was more salty than I would have liked as it lingered on the back of my tongue. The drizzle of honey helped cut the feeling a bit, but not enough to get over it. Overall I've heard from other friends that there are better options on the menu like the wings, fish and fries. I'll be sure to give them a try on the next time and hopefully change the rating of this new establishment soon. I just wouldn't recommend the chicken and garlic noodles

This is the place to go. Much needed.

Delicious Spicy Hot Chicken ask for the Spicy. Had the Salad and did not disappoint. Wonderful customer service, smiles and cheerfulness. A welcome edition to Emeryville. Also had an ice slushie machine. I enjoyed a Red Raspberry. Delicious. Further there is free two hour parking in Lot F, and Lot A across the street. There are Superchargers for those driving Tesla's as well. There is also a big screen for watching football, we watched the Eagles & Green Bay Packers play.

Found this new eatery in the Emeryville Public Market recently, I ordered the Tease Wing Bar with BBQ sauce and Cajun Fries. Good amount of food for the price, the chicken was crispy smothered in their bbq sauce and moist inside, the box was loaded with crispy Cajun fries. Taste was spot on!

Health department report. Do not patronize.

Horrible. Look at their violations the health department noted. The food was mediocre at best.

*This review is for Chimmelier and Oh G Burger…read more We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Sunday evening around 6pm; when we approached the register, we were able to order on the kiosk (to the right of the register) or through the cashier. It was an ideal place to take a group because 1) it was fast casual 2) everyone can put in their individual orders without the awk who's-going-to-put-their-card-in issue 3) there were 2 restaurants (Chimmelier + Oh G Burger) in 1 so more options! What I got: 8 pc sweet gochujang wings (sauce was called YANG'YUM') and a side of tots with a cup for water **the wings were from Chimmelier and the tots were from Oh G Burger We were able to combine two tables together to fit our group of 5 and the cashier brought our food over in quick succession. The tots were my fav even tho the wings were supposed to be the star of the show. I liked how they gave me PLENTY of disposable gloves because the sauce is v sticky. Gochujang is a savory, sweet Korean chili paste, but I would say it was more sweet than spicy. I enjoyed my meal but maybe would wanna try a dry rub because putting on gloves every time can be a chore. I went for a yelp elite perk once and grabbed their chicken sando which was tasty.

We ended up having to pay the higher price because they said the menu just wasn't reflecting the latest prices. Fine, whatever. We both ordered chicken sandwiches and they were tasty. Also got fries for sides and some of them came out cold but we didn't think too much about it and we left feeling like we would return. However, on our second trip back - we once again ordered chicken sandwiches and also shrimp toast as an appetizer. One bite into the shrimp toast and the piece was very COLD...It wasn't fully cooked so we flagged it to them. They were very apologetic and happy to take it back to warm it up. But damn! PSA to diners here to check your food to make sure it's properly cooked here. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...well, I'm not sure I'll come back.

A true hidden gem right at the bottom of Solano Ave in Albany!…read more I'm embarrassed to admit that Picnic has been around for about 5 years in the east bay and I've just tried it for the first time this week. But I'm so glad I was finally introduced to it. The staff greet you promptly when you enter and you can even watch them work effortlessly together in the open prep-station behind the counter. They have a gorgeous display of deli items, wines, cheeses, cold sides, and even some cute candles & house made croutons. They've got everything you would need for an elevated picnic or even a barbecue with the family. They have an intriguing selection of house made sausages-- the Chicken Tikka Masala sausage caught my eye and I can't wait to try it. They also sell whole smoked quail that are seasoned heavily yet each bite has just the right amount of smokiness, spices, and salt. Their hot food items and sandwiches are perfect for a quick lunch during your break from work or on your way home. There are also a few counter seats if you want to enjoy your meal there. So far I've tried the smoked quail, the Muffaletta sandwich, and their green lentil soup with chicken + veg. The sandwich was filled to the brim and each bite was a flavor bomb. The lentil soup was very comforting & paired well with the smoked quail. I'm looking forward to trying everything they have to offer.

They were very happy with their arugula salads. I ordered the mac n cheese which was okay. Even though I grew up in El Cerrito, I sometimes feel like my NorCal green card has expired. I've lost touch with my small batch, organic self. (Although I have never liked arugula) This store is adorable and just the kind of independent neighborhood place that should be frequented and appreciated. Unfortunately I also had to use the bathroom and they don't have one for customers. So they recommended walking a block away to the BevMo. So I guess that added some negative feelings.

Whenever I'm in search of something good to eat in the Bay Area I always check TikTok first. My search directed me to Southside Station! It's a small quaint establishment with a very quiet vibe. When I entered, there was a table of three gentlemen sitting there enjoying their selections. I checked in with them and got suggestions on what I should order. They made a recommendation, but I chose something totally different. I ordered the wings and garlic noodles with a side of brussels sprouts. This place is known for their fried chicken because it's so extra crunchy. They definitely did deliver on the crunch and the flavor. The garlic noodles were very garlic, which is what I liked, and the brussels sprouts were sautéed in a honey glaze. I decided to enjoy my food inside the restaurant as opposed to sitting outside where they have two tables set up. The young lady that took my order was ever so sweet and kind. She was the only one I saw in the restaurant behind the counter, but there may have been others working further in the back. There was an error on my order and she was quick to correct the error with an apology and a smile. The portion size was decent. I ended up taking home leftovers.

It came with a side of coleslaw (3.5 Stars) and spiced honey (3 Stars). They fried a whole breast, it was so large that it over flowed the toasted brioche bun. The only thinking that made it spicy was the homemade spicy mayo, so it wasn't that spicy. I noticed on the menu they have sauces, like Nashville and buffalo. I think next time I'll try one of those sauces to kick up the heat. The cheese I add was not needed, I should have left off. The Fries (4 stars) were coated with potato flour and seasoning, which made a great crispy crust, served hot. Mac N' Cheese (4 Stars $6.49) I ordered the small 8oz, it was corkscrew pasta covered with a cheese sauce that was awesome with some Cajun spices, a like dirt Mac and some extra cheese on top. The burger was fresh and flavorful--you can taste the quality in every bite. The onion rings were on point too: crispy, not greasy, perfectly cooked. Dipping them into the habanero mayo gave it just the right kick. Definitely recommend that combo. The staff was friendly and kept things cool even though there were only two or three people running the place. The spot itself is small, just a few tables and chairs, with a little bit of Latin music playing in the background, which gave it a nice touch. When I first got there, it wasn't too busy, but by the time I finished, it was filling up. Walked around the block to stretch out, came back 15 minutes later, and the place was packed. What's also impressive is that their fried chicken sandwich was voted one of Yelp's Top 50 Fried Chicken Sandwiches in California, ranking #33 in the state. That's what I'm definitely trying next time. Final verdict: Great burger, great onion rings, friendly service, and a spot worth checking out if you're around University Ave in Berkeley. Two thumbs up from me.

FLAVORFUL MEAT OR FLAVORFUL SAUCE…read more I've eaten here twice. The first time I passed by this place as I parked my car at the Telegraph Channing Garage. After a couple of hours roaming around the Berkeley when I headed back to my car I stopped by KoStop to eat for lunch. I ordered the medium fried chicken, but I didn't know what sauce I wanted. I asked one of the co-workers what he would recommend. He suggested sweet and spicy. I decided to order the original as I believe in order to taste how flavorful chicken wings are you need to taste it without any sauce. For the side I got pickled radish. I also decided to get a side order of cheese sticks. The pickled radish balances the oily texture from fried chicken wings and cheese sticks. I liked the breading from the fried chicken. The meat was fully cooked. However the meat tasted bland. The second time I came here was on a Sunday. After shopping for California apparel I came here for lunch as I parked my car at the Telegraph Channing Garage. As with the first visit I ordered medium fried chicken, but this time I decided to get a sauce. One of the workers said sweet and spicy is the most popular flavor. I ordered that flavor. For a beverage I ordered melon milk. The sweet and spicy has a sriracha-like taste. I thought the sweet and spicy flavor was ok. If you go to KoStop by yourself a medium order provides a satisfy portion of wings. The meat isn't dry, but it's not as moist as I like it. Overall I've eaten tastier chicken wings elsewhere.

After trying my first Dave's in Pinole, this was my 2nd and had the same experience: consistent. This one is in El Cerrito Plaza Shopping Center by the BART station. I ordered Dave's # 2: Two sliders with fries and comes with pickles ($17.49). I chose the medium with heat options of No Spice, Little Mild, Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot and Reaper. I also got a side of Kale Slaw ($4.59) and added a large Crispy Fried Pickles ($7.99). Mind you, this was a snack, so the sliders were the perfect size. One for me and one for the wifey and we shared the rest. The chicken is crispy on the outside but was simultaneously moist and tender inside. The heat level is basically how many (or how little) they sprinkled on the spice powder. The side of Kale Slaw provided a nice buffer to cut out the saltiness as it's a nice balance of crispy, fresh veggies with a sweet and tangy flavor. I also loved the side of pickles that came with the # 2. They're just plain pickles, and they were definitely better than the Crispy Fried Pickles (skip in my opinion). These were overly seasoned and salty to my liking. I ended up removing the breading just to get to the pickles inside. I also found the price to be too steep to justify the price and quantity that came with it. Overall, it's a solid sandwich that makes chicken right. Better than KFC, but not Popeye's and Jollibee.
